Can anyone tell me why every pharmacy in metro Detroit is out of Norco? They don't know when they will be in? Even the pain center that prescribed it with their own pharmacy is out. ## Shortages just sometimes happen, the manufacturers may have trouble obtaining the raw ingredients, shipping problems or etc. The only thing you can really do is wait it out, or speak to your doctor about possibly prescribing an alternative medication in the meantime. I have been treated with hydrocodone for the past 16 years and now my doctor wants to refer me to a pain clinic. I have 3 herniated discs in my neck I've rheumatoid arthritis I have very bad anxiety that sometimes won't let me leave the house I have depression. My mother has spondylosis and are symptoms are very similar. I am unable to work because I cannot stand or sit for long periods of time. I have joint pain and swelling in my hands and feet. Will I pass a urine drug screen if it's been 154 hrs since I took hydrocodone 5/325? ## Not if you're suppose to have it in your system. ## I had 15 in 3 days 2 every 6 hours or as needed so bout 6 a day. Is this legal to cut the medication down this much at one time? I have been on 6 10/500 mg hydrocodone/Lortab for well over a year now for fibromyalgia, scoliosis, arthritis, bulging disc, bone spurs, etc. The clinic dr. decided that he prefers the patients there (all/any that take more than 4) be cut down by 2 a day, now making it 4 daily. Shouldn't he lower the dose slowly just as he slowly raised the dose? There has been no substitute given. I already take ibuprofen too. Now I'm feeling more pain and I HAVE TO WORK. Is this legal? I have been on Hydrocodone for 25 years. Always went through Dr.s. Trying to do the right way. The new rules on hydrocodone are really negative for everyone I have met. I have been cut down so far it's no wonder illicit drug usage is up. It will go much much higher as they tighten the screws. If people like me, a 60 something professional considers such alternatives you know it's getting bad. I wonder if anyone knows of a generous Dr in Northern Calif. or Southern Oregon?

my primary Dr. who i trust a lot told me there was such a thing as 80mg of hydrocodone with no acetaminophen in it and that i shouldn't be taking any acetaminophen because it is causing my liver to be damaged even more than it is. i suffer from severe pain daily and need my pain killers to help manage my pain. I've been seeing a pm Dr. for the last 12 years. Taking 4 tabs a day but when my Dr. retired I cut my meds down to 1 a night. I had 2 on Sunday 6 hours apart. I found out today at 5:00 that I have a urine test Tues. at 3:30. Will I fail this test? ## Blue, it will depend on how detailed the drug screen they give you is. Some are more sensative then others.
