Just trying to figure out what the actual mg are for these pills. I see 2 different ones. Usually on a bottle it would give just 1 number on what Mg's it is... Are these 750mg or 375mgs? I'm getting different answers. I know it says 325mg/7.5mg,but your doc would say im prescribing you 750mg of so n so or 375mgs of so n so, not 325mg & 7.5mg of so n so cause it would confuse a person on exactly what Mg's they are taking! I have RSD in both legs due to several back surgeries. I was diagnosed in 1993 and have lived in pain for many years. My question is, I was doing pretty good with hydrocodone, Tylenol (7.5/3.25) ev 4 hrs. Even missing a dose every now and then, my RSD was mostly under control. I was changed to pill form (10/3.25) ev 6 hrs and ever since then (3 days ago), I have been in severe pain, in my legs and now under my feet. What made the difference? My pharmacist will not get the liquid form for me due to the cost to them. I may have to go out of town to get it. Can you cut 7.5 mg hydrocodone in half? They are a round pill with 7161, no score mark, but they are too strong for me and make me sick to my stomach. ## 7161 doesn't show as being an imprint for Hydrocodone combination medication. I took a 2.5mg of hydrocodone at about 3:00pm and took a urine drug test at about 10:30am the next morning. I am not a heavy user. I hardly ever take them but I am pregnant and I was hurting. I had a tooth extraction yesterday, been taking I Norco 7.5-325 regularly since; took one pill an hour ago and the pain is still unbearable, can I take one more or even half a pill more? ## Hi Ryan, Generally with this type of drug the dosing instructions indicate that you should take 1 pill every 4-6 hours or so. I could be wrong, but I think this is mainly due to the concerns associated with Acetaminophen and liver toxicity. From my own personal experience, it should be fine to take a half a pill more, as they do make a stronger norco with 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. I had been taking a white colored hydrocodone but all of a sudden the pharmacy started giving me pink ones. At first I thought nothing of it but soon realized I was not getting the same results. I talked to my Dr thinking perhaps I needed one stronger but would let her know and watch it for awhile. This month I got the white pills again and after a week I realized these took care of my pain and lasted longer. I'm having hernia repair surgery soon. I have a regular monthly prescription for 120 hydrocodone. I smoked marijuana 31 days ago. At my 26th day I went to an independent labcorp and took a 5 panel drug urine test and tested negative. Are you reffering to Hydrocodone APAP 7.5/500 liquid? If so, I can tell you that 1 tablespoonful of Hydrocodone APAP 7.5/500 liquid would be the equivalent of one Hydrocodone APAP 7.5/500 tablet. My doc electronically sent a script of hydrocodone to Wal-Mart 17days ago saying take 1 every 6hrs FOR 20 DAYS.Gave me 80pills which is only enough for 19days..nbd. He sent a new script to Wal-Mart today but increased amount to cover 30 days. I take Norco 10/325 for pain related to shingles and came up negative for a drug screen at the pain management doctor's office and have been taking them. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I take 2 different antibiotics. They are Azithromycin 500mg daily and Ceftin 500 mg twice daily for 5 months. I've just had my very first surgery at age 22 on my right ear (Tymnoplasty). I was actually fine with mild pain leaving the hospital and was given this prescription at Walgreens to take every four hours before any pain started when leaving the hospital. I've never had a problem with generic medication, but this is possibly the worse pain I've experienced! I called my doctor to let him know and he explained to take another even though I had just taken this one at 7. It is now 9, I am on my second pill and still feel no relief. I am going through a custody issue and this is pretty important. I was prescribed 15 5/500 hydrocodones to take as needed for pain in the evenings. I was really sick the week of the 11/26/12 - 11/30/12 and being in bed caused a flair up and I took 2 5/500s On the nights of the 11/27/12, 11/28/12, & 11/29/12.
