Does Lortab make a 10/325? My Doc changed my lortab 10/500 to norco10/325. Norco is a different medicine, making me really tired. everyone keeps saying its the same as Lortab. I STRONGLY disagree. help ## Hi, I'm on pain management & have taken Lortab then Norco for years. Norco is the same as Lortab with 325 mg of acetaminophen instead of 500 mg. i take norco 10/325 and wonder is there a stronger hydrocodone pill such as 15/325 ## No, the maximum amount currently available on the market is 10mgs of Hydrocodone. The only way to get a higher dosage than that is if your doctor specially orders it and it is put together for you by a compounding pharmacy. Hydrocodone is a potent narcotic and is rarely given in higher doses. Usually, when someone isn't getting the pain relief they need from it, they move on to something else, such as Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. my husband was givin reprexain 10-200 mg one every 6 hours but he is still hurting bad can he take 2 at a time ## Has he consulted his doctor about it? This contains Hydrocodone and Ibuprofen and the maximum dose of Hydrocodone that's usually given at oce is just the 10mgs, it is very potent narcotic, so I wouldn't suggest increasing the dosage, without a doctor's approval. ## Your husband can absolutely take 2 at a time I don't know why people are saying not to. I am 215lbs and I sometimes take 3 at once when I'm in a lot of pain. What you need to be most mindful of is how much acetiminphen he is taking per day. Keep that under 2500mg and he will be fine and feeling great!

I'm 190 lbs., physically active, adult male. Will 7.5 mg hydrocodone show up on my urine screening after 4 days? ## I took two 5 milligram tabs of hydrocodone within 10 hrs. Will it show up on a urine test the same morning? ## Most likely. Hydrocodone gets out of the system pretty fast, but 4 days is on that line of most likely showing. I've heard of people passing though at that short amount of time. It also depends on the type of test. If it goes to a lab, then no. If it is a dip test, then most likely yes still but possibly no.

I'm on 10 mg of hydrocodone. I have surgery in 3 weeks on my colon, the fifth one in a year with 2 more to go after this. I have not lied and this is all I take other than celexa 20 mg once a day and over the counter benedryl for sleep. My count will be low today. My plans for when when I get better and I've discussed this my doctor is to completely with their help to detox and never to take this again if possible. I've always been honest and I will today but I have had more pain this month and have taken more. Will I get kicked off because of a low count? ## Good luck! In general, it is best not to take both, since there is a risk of overdosing on the Acetaminophen, which can be fatal. Just got these hydro/apap 5/325, how many can I take at a time and still be safe? 1 doesn't do it for me. I have a high tolerance for Vicodin/norco related drugs, but this is the first time taking these so I'm unsure. ## Nope. They are weaker than a percocet 5...as Vicodin are HYDROcodone and a percocet is OXYcodone. They will NOT get you high if you have ANY type of tolerance....may as well take Bayer. ## yes you can get high off of these and if you take too many you wont know it! Thats how alot of people are dying from overdose's and they dont know it! I was on Oxycodones 15mgs for 4years and when I moved to Washington state.....Yes they put me on MMJ! I have taken 8mg orange suboxone tablet over the course of 3 days. I regularly take hydrocodone for chronic pain and a torn labrum in my hip. My last dose of suboxone was at 9am this morning, can I take hydrocodone tomorrow afternoon? Will it help my pain? I see a pain management Dr for chronic pain. I've had a very difficult time in finding the RIGHT medication for this. I recently had my 2nd disc repair surgery on my neck and I've made sure to follow all protocols with prescriptions between my pain management Dr and my surgeon. My biggest issue right now is that I've been taking Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 7.5/325 in liquid form. Today my husband took me in for a follow up appointment and we found out that this medication is no longer available in the liquid form. I take the liquid form because of a poor absorption issue with my stomach after having a bad gastric bypass surgery (while I lost a great amount of weight my stomach is totally screwed up now). If taking it helps, you need to tell your dr. ## Hi Willy, Sorry to hear about the extent of your pain. From what I've found they actually do make a combination of Hydrocodone + Ibuprofen under the following brand names: Vicoprofen, Reprexain, and Ibudone. Perhaps you could ask your doctor about trying one of these as an alternative to the 325mgs of Acetaminophen, if you have any concerns about it's potential cumulative effects on liver health with long term use? Overcoming the pain is what matters, but I just try to encourage the safest methods possible if it can be helped. None the less, I hope...

I had some teeth pulled the other day. I was in some really bad pain and finally got my dentist to prescribe some hydrocodone for me to take yesterday. I took one pill yesterday morning and experienced severe dizziness, nausea, and weakness from it. Later on in the evening I broke the pill in half but experienced the same symptoms. Is this a sign of a reaction to it or just side effects. Any help will be appreciated. ## Those can be normal side effects, since Hydrocodone is a narcotic analgesic. Was in a car accident with back and neck injuries. Have been given hydrocodone that doesn't touch the pain. I live in Arkansas and heard oklahoma pain clinics understand and are more compassionate. Can anyone help me and tell me what clinics I can go to to get oxicotin??? I am desperately seeking help. Can you please tell me if this is hydrocodone or naproxen? One side says 537 and the other side says 93. It is a white oval pill. ## This tablet is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 550mgs of Naproxen. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Just wondering if it's safe to mix Hydrocodone 10mg + Gabapentin 600mg + Latuda 20mg? I'm concerned about my health. ## According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), taking Hydrocodone and Latuda (Lurasidone) together may increase your risk of certain side effects, such as a loss of balance or dizziness, slurred speech, confusion, changes in mental awareness & slow or shallow breathing. They go on to note that in some cases where both medications are required, your doctor may adjust the dosage and/or frequency of dosing in order to mitigate these risk factors. My dad (81 yr old, 125 lbs.) is prescribed Hydrocod/APAP 5/325. He's had back surgery several times, he swears the last doctor really screwed it up and no other doctor wants to touch it. He is currently alternating Hydrocod/APAP 5/325 and Tramadol. All along he has said the Tramadol does NOTHING for him. At points over the past year, and especially this past week the pain has gotten truly unbearable. Thursday morning he went in for a cortisone shot in the back. The Doctor said he could take 2 Hydrocod/APAP 5/325 at a time if needed. (even though my father says that 1 was doing absolutely nothing anymore, the doctor seems to think he is lying.)
