How Long Does Temazepam Stay In Your System (Page 2)

My aunt gave me a 15mg temazepam to take while on vacation. Full time college student and a long drive, my sleeping is just not there. Now i am worried because I have drug test schudeled for june 25th. Will it show up?

Ok... EVERYONE is wrong! I just had seen my labs since I do go to pain management and was stunned! I have not taken Temazepam [Restoril] 30 mg since 10/2015; this is over a YEAR ago and it is STILL showing up in my urine. As of 2016/10/10: TEMAZEPAM UR 499 < 50 H Temazepam drug screen, urine. Maybe a DOCTOR can explain this. I was not on it for a long period of time. I do take another Benzo with it. That did show up as well. BUT this WOW! This was specific to Temazepam.

First do no harm....." Dr's take this oath. Put aside for a moment that he isn't helping your pain...and just think about the way he response to you tears,etc.

omg my heart goes out to you. I've been thru your exact situation can i say even 100x worse. 50 surgeries, 3 spinalc.stimulators infected mrsa plus more and skin mrsa, my fusion Rod was cut and he left it in screws fused to my organs left wires and sheathing in that fused to my shoulder and more to give you an idea. I'm probably gonna die..you don't have to take that from that dr. it's scary to change, I know. maybe just find regular m.d. vs pain management...there nuts these days. find one while you still have RX and tell them what your going thru. Cleveland clinic actually said they don't look at people as individuals they just issue same thing across the board.sad. even an internal medicine Dr and they'll care about you more. your in my prayers..the Lord can bring you to a caring Dr that can and will help you.

This is not true it can stay in your system for up to 4 weeks of maybe even 6 weeks i an going through extensive withdraws they keep telling me I have anxiety I do not I took this drug for insomnia it has so many side effects it's got me 50 week dizziness numbness in the legs many problems I suggest people do not take this drug it's the worst ever my body got so used to it it didn't help me sleep in the beginning a little bit please do not take this this is the worst drug ever out there for insomnia

Dr James Hale in teaneck nj...he is the best ortho in the business and will actually get you and your life back on track... he does not believe in heavy scripts...best around at making people whole again...

I have a great pain management doctor but im in different state i been disabled since 39 but Dr didnt believe Thank God for orthopedic Dr who sent to pain clinic injections and a pill 4 x keeps edge off and some light activity if you taken pill for long time you may be tolerant you can switch for a month try another and go back to normal and it work far as sleep ambien you may get 4 hours on a pillow pile I be praying for you to find some kind of relief your right surgery makes worse keep trying go online look for Dr or have refer to paun clinic Good luck

I have the same problem with my pain management doctor have been going to him for about 8 yrs. now. He warned me to be clean of restoril that is/was prescribed to me by my family dr... He said that here in Kentucky there was new laws that had passed in ky that benzos and opiates are now illegal in this state. I blame addicts that abuse drugs for recreational use. Why should people such as you and I have to suffer the consequences because of illegal recreational drug heads? There should be some way our voices and opinions should be heard at where these crazy laws are created.

So my nurse took me from Temazepam 30 mg down to Temazepam 15 mg that they got me on now. I can go to Atarax which is hydroxyzine and it makes me a little loopy but makes me feel good and makes me go to sleep cuz I have very very bad anxiety. I am a type 1 diabetic, 32 years on insulin pump, nerve damage, diabetic neuropathy, my neck was broken before due to a slipped disc in my back tearing/ripping causing spinal leakage. I also have pain throughout my legs. They lock up and my knees lock up. My back hurts all the time, I can't turn my neck or my head so I understand exactly where you coming from, but is there some type of juice I can drink before I go take a urine test that will clear out my system? My pain doctor literally told me not to have it in my system when he drops me for a urine test. What can I take to get it out of my system?

Temazepam will show up if you are taking some other Benzo's- I have not taken a Restoril/ Temazepam in 3 yrs but I take Valium/ Diazepam on a daily basis.
My pain management Dr will no longer treat me with narcotic/ opioids since I take Diazepam for Anxiety/depression/fast heart rate. AND Belsomra for insomnia & can not fall asleep with CPAP. I did try... Stayed up for 48 hours straight and ended up with an anxiety induced asthma attack used my Xopenex inhaler which I haven't used in 5 yrs. Instead of my heart rate of 118 on Diazepam it was 135. Thought I was going to have a heart attack. The inhaler helped a bit took a chewable 81mg aspirin with it just in case.
People stay away from Ambien.... I took it for a long time no problems. Then I started sleepwalking. Very dangerous drug!!

After reading your story I am apauked and so sorry u have to deal with that.im 36 and been on many different meds n now I take perc 10s 4 times a day 25mcg fentynol patches (every 48 not 72 hrs) Valium baclofen a anti inflamitory n hormone from my hystoectomy.mostly pain meds n been on this regimen for about 3 yrs.id like it to help more but it's the most releif yet after many trial and errors with meds and drs.im in MI so unfortunately I can't reccomend a dr but maybe look for 1 who is a pain management rehabilitative care and pain phycologist. You will be more prone to a more compassionate Dr who understands your pains. Gets you to a more tolerable level. And helps u wk around high cost treatment and drugs.my Dr not only manages pain with meds but tries other methods like adjustments or what he calls the spine med table it's a 18 wk process that has worked miricles.he will adjust meds and not exceed the CD limits.feel free to look up the CD regulations in your area or TT your oharmasist and ask if what you take is the max in your area.im at the max.my break through meds were cut in half as soon as the law changed but everyone who was over the limit got cut.i sure hope there's a Dr that specializes in all of he above in your area.and if your Dr claims to he would be more compassionate and tt you.i wish you the best.

My heart breaks as I read your post. I had been injured at work . If I had been in an auto accident, I would have been given all the proper test ,and due to the nature of my injury , I had no idea what exactly happened. I was not able to remember what happened for 8 month's , this caused futher damage as well as be put through physical therapy that was wrong for my injury.
I have severe pain and I have not had one pain-free day since the day of that accident. You can't look at me and tell it. I'll never be guilty of judging anyone again by whether or not they looked like they needed that parking space, which I don't have the sticker however rightfully I could. It makes me sick to read what you wrote, it makes me feel broken hearted to read that you don't want to live because you hurt so bad . I'm a person who has faith and I believe strongly in prayer, I don't know what your beliefs are, however I am going to be praying for you. I'm going to pray first, Jesus helps you and put you where you need to be to get the help that you need. I'm also going to pray for a miracle. God works in many ways. And I'm going to pray that you get relief and can enjoy your life. And I guess the answer to your question is go South , Florida , they wouldn't mind you enough to kill a horse . And this is not what I'm wishing for you but they don't mind prescribing that is for sure, they don't mind over-prescribing . But I understand that when you are in pain like you're speaking of medication is meant for that pain and IT addresses the pain not the high that people who abuse medication or getting. No one is able to judge you and no one would want to be in your shoes with that pain . It's easy for people to say, what they know nothing of . Best wishes for you. molly

Try a methadone clinic. Cured my pain. Lomg term. I take it every day. But it's worth to not have pain.

I'm on probation and they count my pills. She told me there was no need to count temazepam as it wasn't a narcotic. I normally take them as directed but being so nervous everytime I see her, I took more than usual. My urine was sent to a lab routine. Will they show up?

Unfortunately, I live in Glendale, AZ so I recommend a pain doctor. Like you, I spend most of ten years in bed after a MVA. I allowed the doctors to do cortisone injections which resulted in Addison's Disease. I would not have survived if I had not been on an 100mcg Fentanyl patch. It's 50 - 100 times stronger than morphine. It will not make you feel tired, woozy, or anything. A doctor is allowed to preform surgery while wearing a Fentanyl patch. God Bless You. Becky
