My serious concern is that the vial is for a different medicine (per description on label.) What medicine is this small, yellow, round pill marked L1? ## From what I can discover, these contain 20mgs of Famotidine, the active ingredient in Pepcid, this is the over the counter dosage, commonly sold in many stores. They are used to treat heartburn and GERD. I understand your concern, but did you just try asking her what they were?

I would like to know if Altosec 10mg capsules have been tested for efficieny in infants and if it is the exact same as giving Losec Mups 10mg ## My son has been on Losec Mups 10mg ever since he was 6 months old (He is now 18 months) I was told by 3 doctors that Altosec does not work as effeciently as Losec... ## I am still breast feeding my 4 month old baby and last night by a mistake i took one of my fiancées tablets altosec 20...will this have a negative effect on him. Legal US prescription drugs must all have unique imprints to enable their identification, otherwise it could be anything. Where did you find it? ## I located a pill with similar markings to a round, pink colored pill with M 4 on it, it's Magnesium Carbonate 400 mg, Calcium Carbonate 200 mg, and Folic Acid 1 mg, which is listed as a vitamin supplement. If this is not your pill, please post back so I can help you locate the correct one. ## I found a oval shaped light pink with teeny darker speckles, no lines, no i.d. markings. It's 3/4 inch in length, and approx 5/12 inches thick in middle.

I opened a 20milligram capsule and found it contained a buff coloured tablet with no markings on it...this cant be right as i thought it should contain powder ## There are some on the market that do contain a tablet, inside a capsule to make it easier to swallow and cause it to have less effect on people who are already suffering from GERD. my pharmacy would not fill my prescription for omeprazole because I also take vyvanse ## Omeprazole can cause some medications, such as Lisdexamfetamine to be absorbed much faster than they nornally would, which could result in your getting to much of the medication at once. Have you tried talking to your doctor about an alternative? There are also some over the counter items on the market that may be safe for you to use, but you should ask your doctor or pharmacist just to be certain.

omeprazole dr 2-mg - - - started 02/17/10 - - - 1 capsule a day - - have had stomach pain and watery diarrea the past 4 days/also some vomiting. So I have not taken my medications until today!!! Since I have started feeling better -- I resumed my medications today -- this afternoon the stomach pain has returned and the feeling that the diarrea is allso about to resume! ## Omeprazole can cause some stomach pain and diarrhea as side effects when you first start taking it.
