Small Yellow Pill With L1 On One Side

My grandmother has a vial with small, yellow pills marked with an L1 on one side, blank on the other side. My serious concern is that the vial is for a different medicine (per description on label.) What medicine is this small, yellow, round pill marked L1?

From what I can discover, these contain 20mgs of Famotidine, the active ingredient in Pepcid, this is the over the counter dosage, commonly sold in many stores.

They are used to treat heartburn and GERD.
