I have been suffering from stomach problems (IBS) for 5 years. My dr prescribed me levosulpiride and rabeprazole tablets. Is levosulpiride or rabepraxole a stomach acid blocker? ## Rabeprazole helps prevent your stomach from producing as much as acid, by shutting some of the proton pumps. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, and flatulence. Hi, I was told that i have gastritis and I was given omeprazole and ranitidine several times but it never worked. Now they have given me pylokit. I found 2 tablets with a marking of Rp 103 and I'm wanting to know what it's used for? ## They are listed as containing 1,000mgs of Calcium Carbonate, they are a generic or store brand for Tums, used to treat excess acidity. The FDA warns that they occasionally cause constipation as a side effect. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been on this medication for three days and today I have had a headache all day. Is this normal and can I take something for the headache? ## Yes, most medications can cause headaches as a side effect, according to FDA, with this medication you may also experience nausea, dizziness, and stomach pain. The difference between omepprazole dr and pNepcid ac ## They are both different medications in different drug classes. Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor, it helps reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach by shutting down some of the proton pumps that produce the acid. Learn more Omeprazole details here. The DR just means it is delayed release, so it keeps working for awhile after you take it. Pepcid AC is a time released formulation of Famotidine, which is a histamine, H2-receptor agonist, so it works differently than the Omeprazole. Whether to take Esomeprazole before meals or after meals or during meals? ## Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions, unless directed by your doctor. What is the best medicine to root out acidity from stomach permanently along with the dosage and limited time to be continued. ## I have heart burn problem for over 40 years. how can i pass urine test in 24 hours for methanphetamines ## I have a brother in prison who's tested positive twice (partially) for methanphetamine but says he not doing drugs (he tested negative for all other drugs. He has acid reflux, takes medication for it. Could it be a false positive?

Hi I am taking altrosec 20mg daily for acid reflux.I have a chronic condition and need to take the altrosec for a long time.I am gaining weight but the doc says altrosec does not cause weight gain.I eat very healthy .very concerned because I gained about 6 kg over 7 months. ## Hello, Tammy! I was diagnosed with small osophageal, granuloma, mild antral gastritis. I was given H.pylori kit medicines for 10 days. Should I take those medicines or stop ? ## I had H Pylori +ive after endoscope & test. Then I took H Pylori kit for 14 days followed by Pantocid dsr 21 days and I was completely ok , but after 10 days started feeling many problems like before again and then started taking again Pantocid dsr again once daily. I take Omeprazole which was a peach and beige capsule. Now I have received a blue-green capsule and am experiencing a rash on my neck and under my chin. Should I be concerned? ## Hello, Sandra! I have been using Ferrimed for a long time, but my iron and blood deficiency became worse. I am always very tired, sleepy and listless. A specialist physician said I most probably have bleeding ulcers due to too much stomach acid. I repeatedly told him that I have NEVER had heart burn or acid reflux my whole life. I did not feel any pain whatsoever when he examined my stomach, etc. He admitted me to the hospital, where his rooms are, to have upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies. I have been on famotidine for about 6 weeks and the one side effect ringing in the ears are horrible. The ringing is so loud, I'm thinking of not taking it anymore. ## Hello, Kathy!
