Stomach Ache And Nauseated

I'm not vomiting, just nauseated. I do not have much of an appetite, have cancer and am elderly. Is omeprazole 20mg good to take for this?

Omeprazole does not treat nausea, as a matter of fact, it may actually cause nausea and stomach pain, as a side effect, according to the FDA. It is used to treat excess stomach acid that can cause conditions, such as heartburn, GERD, gastritis, and ulcers.

How long has this been going on? Are you on any other medications? Have you eaten anything different recently?
