Famotidine Side Effects

I have been on famotidine for about 6 weeks and the one side effect ringing in the ears are horrible. The ringing is so loud, I'm thinking of not taking it anymore.

Hello, Kathy! How are you doing? Has there been any change?

The FDA does list that as a possible side effect of this medication, along with nausea, flatulence, and dizziness.

Have you informed your medical provider? There are other antacids that you can try to see if they may work better for you.
