Generic Norco M367 10/325 (Page 25) (Top voted first)

Updated

It's no good. I have to take three at a time for 1 hour of pain relief. Anybody else have this problem with M367 - 10/325? Has anyone else noticed that meds from certain manufacturers do not work as well for them?

All the Generic M pills are definitely weaker! M357, M367, etc... Anyone that gets any type of hydrocodone or oxycodone prescribed to them only need but ask the pharmacist where they are getting their prescriptions filled what brand of pill the pharmacy will use to fill their prescriptions. If it is not the desired brand just shop elsewhere. Sound advise.

I get this crap all the time!
Because I get better relief from a hydro cod one than codiene,my Dr asked me why norco was better than Tylenol #3!!!!
Duh,duh,duh!!!!

Yes. Ppl acting stupid hurting other Ppl! Why do i****s always have plenty of money & those of us who would help others & animals have nothing for ourselves? Just not right! & Why do these so called professionals not have the ability to tell whether a person is an abuser after talking to them for 5 minutes? I can!

Sandy I have medication coverage but my Soma and my Norco 10 cost me each $35.00.

Any pain medication they make me pay for, but the other medication I pay little or nothing. Diabetic test strips are free for three months worth. It is clear how unfair they are about pain control meds. I do save money on antibiotics or any other non pain meds.

I can't take soma.
It worked well for a few times, then I had a bad reaction to it & almost fell with my year old daughter down the stairs to our house.
I get restless leg with flexeril & zanaflex now,so that's miserable.
I'm one of those Ppl who needs a horse pill to make it work, but then turn around & become allergic!LOL!

The M 367 pills are worthless. I have been on pain meds since I broke my neck in a MVA. They are extremely weak and no one can tell me they are NOT.

Like I said before, stick with Qualitest brand, even if your pharmacy has to order it. Be persistent.

Generics are only required to contain 7% of the active ingredient, in this case hyrocodone. Yes these are extremely weak by the way. Apparently my pharmacy just changed which prompted the Google search where I found this info from what seems to be a knowledgeable and legitimate site. I could tell before I looked it up that was accurate. Poorly made.

I just saw a "ahem" pain management doctor in San Antonio on Monday the 16th Nov.2015.
He had a yoga DVD in the TV in the waiting room, only 2 patients in there, the personality of a wet rag & offered me way less pain treatment than my PC,who sent me to him!
I was treated like a drug abuser once again!By the way,he wasn't good at trick questions either!

You are so right! They are making more money than the crooks who sell their pills! I can tell who is really in pain & who is duping the gov. & the doctors who fall for their crap! I was just told about a doctor who will give you anything you want for $100 visit!

Sandy

"They are told to turn you down the first time"

I was told to give them everything pertinent to my illness and not to list every ache and pain. I did that and was approved in less than 6 weeks. I had no need for an attorney. I think a lot of it has to do with your age. I wrote my congressional representative and asked him to make sure that I applied for SSDI due to post-polio and NOT polio. This they did not like but it worked for me. I was 55 at the time and I think they are more apt to give it too you if your over 50. Just an opinion from some I know who have been turned down. I am expecting them to call me in to check on my health as it has been 7yrs but I have not heard a word.

Our CVS refused to take a valid written prescription. Now it is the holiday season and my husband went into CVS and there was one girl working alone in a large store. He worried about her safety.

The woman pharmacist is very nasty. Most people need drugs of some kind and when you have a woman who hates her job and hates people it kills business. My husband only went there for one thing that Walgreen's was out of. Other than that we do not shop there any more.

Walgreen's has been very nice to deal with but they only carry Activis . I have to accept that.

Just take 10 at a time since you have them already. Then the next time you get your script filled tell them if they don't have the yellow pills to fill your script thanks but no thanks & you'll go somewhere else to get them filled.

I have had three back surgeries and I'm told to take 1 1/2 at a time it still doesn't help. I have nerve damage so pain is all I feel. If I could get it to a2/3 level I could live with that. Yes get rid of generic pain pills or go back to old school, Tylenol three or vicodina 325/10.

Because I have medicaide,I am restricted to one pharmacy only!
This is ridiculous, because I have to frequently go to a different pharmacy, because they are out of my medicine!
Then I get accused of trying to fill multiple prescriptions from different doctors!
I believe with all my heart that generic pills, especially pain meds, are cut by the companies for profits!

Precious, I am glad you think you are not physically dependant because you take your meds how your doctor says to take them. We do as well. Most of us are on pain meds due to chronic, long term conditions and want to have at least a attempt at a quality of life. All opiates cause physical dependence when taken long enough. When you have chronic pain, your doctor understands this and knows this is the only option for most with said chronic conditions. When they changed the schedule of Norco, there was an issue getting the medicine. So we were forced to call and go to pharmacies in order to find pain meds many of us had been on long term. We were treated badly and degraded as if we were addicts. Most of us were in so much pain that I know I wasn't sure what to do. The way the government involved itself made many of us subject to endure a lot of pain which was unnecessary. There were better ways of curbing the abusers of pain meds, which most obtained through doctor shopping or on the street, not the legal way. I hope you never have to experience chronic pain that is an 11 on the 1-10 scale. And by the way, generics are not as regulated as you think, they are required to only have the active ingredient in a range, so they can vary from pill to pill, as well as the fillers used are not required to be the same so some meds are effective for some and others are not. Google it, you may be surprised. Judge not lest ye be judged.

The Federal Govt targeted Walgreen months ago and used them as a national example by taking a few isolated oversights by someone in a pharmacy and imposed a multi million dollar fine. It seems that if it was up to Walgreens now, they would get out of the pain medication business all together. But, because of laws governing such, they decided to take it out on the people that elected the officials that govern this great land that fined them. In doing this, they imposed their own in house system against any customers seeking to have pain medication filled in their pharmacies nationwide it seems . By doing such, they are sending a message to the people (Guv). "You fine us, we will fine you back in our own way. So if you want pain meds, deal with it or go somewhere else". Another unfortunate tactic in the arsenal against prescription pain medicines I guess.

Noturname, you need to stay off this post and any others like it. People come here to get advice from folks that have had to go through the same thing. Not every doctor or pharmacist is helpful. People like you make some folks who may already be in a lot of pain feel even worse. Shame on you!
