Gabapentin Drug Side Effects And Information

I have had to go back on liquid Gabapentin for restless legs. However, since starting again I get this burning sensation in my feet in the evenings. My feet are not hot to the touch and are not particularly red. Any thoughts anyone?

Taking gabapentin 300mg 3 times a day after back surgery any problem long term?

My main issue was induced hunger and I’m very lean framed. 2 Boston Market TV dinners and 6 mozzarella lunch snack sticks. Within about 45 min. 1,300 calories and was STILL hungry.

I'm going to try Gabapentin (Neurontin) for a month. Are the eventual side effects just temporary or can they be permanent? How common is it that Gabapentin doesn't help?

I’m wondering if anyone else has suffered stomach pain as a side effect of gabapentin? I’ve been on it for more than a month and a half. I have terrible constipation as well.

I had swelling of the throat and esophagus... It was so bad I could not swallow without pain and burning. I've been off gabapentin for a week as of yesterday...feeling a lot better, but my tongue still feels like sandpaper.

I have taken them when I lowered my regular dose, but had to return to my regular dose of 900mg a day. The side effects are the same as higher doses based on your particular tolerance.

I have been on a high dose of Gabapentin 4,000.00 mg day for muscle pain so bad I can barley walk because my muscles are so tight. Even my face muscles. I can barely talk. My eye muscles are tight inside the muscle within my eyes. I feel so tired and my toes feel like they're cringing. I can't even bend down but it feels like all of them are having charlie horses in every one of them constantly 24/7 and I've been on this drug for 5 years but I started on a lower dose. Do you think it's caused from the Gabapentin? Will this all go away if I wean down?

I started taking Gabapentin a month ago and was scheduled for surgery, but am reluctant to move forward with it due to having too high of a white blood cell count. Could Gabapentin be the culprit?

Is gabapentin a barbiturate? I have to take a blood test and cannot have them in my system if I want to get my suboxone.

I Take 900 mg a day for nerve pain caused by an immune problem (sever arthritis). The only side effect I have experienced is short term memory lose, which is a bummer. The doctor confirmed this would happen. I just live with it because it works for my problem. Otherwise, no side effects.

I accidentally took three 300mg doses of gabapentin and 225 mg of lyrica - what will happen? I didn't realize I still had an 800mg gabapentin. I have heart problems, high blood pressure and diabetes. Is there something I need to do?

I have been taking gabapentin for about 2 years the only side effect I can tell is weight gain but it did help RlS and sciatica I am going to cut back and see how little I can take and still get help

I was taking gabapentin 300mg 3x a day but today my Dr upped my dosage to 600mg 3x a day. I tried calling the Dr's office but no one answered. Is taking two 300mg gabapentin the same as taking one 600mg gabapentin?

Gabapentin (pill imprint d 24) has worked for my pain for years with nothing else mixed with it. But the side effects have killed me. So I cut way down. Now I'm not sleeping. Should I go back up on the dose?

Did you have any stomach problems? Only things still bothering me after being off Gabby for two months is stomach problems, bloating, low appetite. Everything else is gone anxiety, nervousness, chest pain.
