i m taking Flagyl 400 since march 2011 for treatment of Antebacterial infection , i had taken 4 courses of 7 days , for one month or so i m ok , but again the problem starts , how much courses of flagyl are required for complete relief ## What type of infection is it? It really shouldn't require that many courses of any antibiotic to clear up the problem. Have you and your doctor discussed the possibility of your using a different antibiotic? I think that this one just isn't working for you. Hi, I have an infection. I bought A-Por cream from the chemist and used it for 7 nights, but still no change, so i decided to go to the clinic where my urine was tested and i was given an injection, Boxytet and five Flagyl's that i had to take at once... I went to the doctor 7 days ago and was perscribed flagyl, it has not seemed to work yet. For seven months my stomach had been making loud gurgling noises for no apparent reason. My doctor thought it could bacteria not where it should be. I was not told how long to take the medication but he wants to meet back in 3 weeks. He gave me enough pills to last 3 months. In September I went onto flagyl for BV. I had started spotting 2 weeks before my period due to the infection and then a couple of days on the antibiotic, it deactivated my pill (Yaz) and I got full on bleeding which led straight into my period. The doctor then prescribed meds to stop the bleeding which it did within a day with the BV cleared up. I had trouble with my period since then (starting a week early and lasting 7 days instead of 4). I figured my body needed time to readjust to the bcp again after the antibiotic. However, earlier this month BV came back and I went onto flagyl again right before my period and it came but this time only lasted two days with some spotting two days before. can you take flagyl and watson 801 together? ## Hello, Shawn! How are you? I didn't find any interactions listed between Flagyl and Hydroxyzine, but you should always double check such information to be sure. It may intensity some of the side effects, so you may experience more dizziness, drowsiness and nausea than usual. Is there anything else I can help with?

I do not take antibiotics because of severe reactions such as swollen eyelids and other issues.and also allergic to Flagyl. and possibly Levaquin. Also I believe antibiotics are over used and so far I have done without them for things everyone else takes them for such as Flu,colds and many other things. I use herbal products without most problems but now have a couple of painful tooth issues and perhaps some infections. I have no medical records to verify this due to many years of not having insurance or finances. I will see a dentist but having problems finding one that is more into natural products and low radiation x-rays. my daughter was put on Flagel. 1 pill. she took it on Monday. Nearing end of prescribed course after wisdom tooth extraction, now feeling extremely ill last 3days progressing to aching joints all over body and the rib area barely touchable due to same bone like pain, metallic taste, numbness and pins and needles in arms hands, lower legs and feet, speech slightly slurred (thought this was due getting the two teeth removed leaving large gap) and tip of tongue very sore but no furring or signs of thrush inside the mouth, runny stools and skin above one wrist now very red and inflamed and starting to bruise. Have Hpyloric and being treatedwith Flagyl 3xDay and clindamycin--not clarithromycin Bid as well as the PP pill. On my 11th day out of 14 and stay nauseated. Tried separating the doses and not all together but within an hr of each other. Does this sound like a plan! Thank you. Is Clindamycin just as good? Thank you ## Clindamycin is not the preferred antibiotic that's approved to eradicate H. Pylori. Was there some reason you were prescribe it, rather than another one? my mother-in-law accidentally took this pill by mistake. she took 2 this morning and 2 this evening. she thought it was her diebetes medicine ## This is an antibacterial med, so the main adverse effects here are going to be to her blood sugar from not taking the diabetes meds, there won't be much afffect from taking a few extra of these, as long as she doesn't have an allergic reaction to them. In the future, when you are worried about something like this, you should really call a poison control line or her doctor to get an answer faster, there are meds that could be dangerous if taken that way, and if she is having a bad reaction, you don't want to be waiting around for someone online to log on and give you an answer. ## i accidently swallowed one of my husbands flomax? ## ...

hi had tosilular abcess for 3 weeks,admitted to hospital and had calvepen 666 through i.v. Abcess was lanced and i was released home with calvepen tablets,not long after taking second dose(3 daily) i started to feel weak/nausious/headache and symtoms of palpatations. Also with the calvepen i was given flagyl 400. ## HI, Lazy Hazy! How are you feeling now? i need to take flagyl but only have quadriderm nf cream. will this work or are they not used for the same infections? ## i dont know ask your gyno? ## No, they are two very different medications. Quadriderm NF contains Betamethasone, Clotrimazole and Gentamicin, while Flagyl just contains Metronidazole, so they are used differently to treat different things. Learn more Flagyl details here.
