Expired Flagyl 5 Days

Hello I have flagyl that expired 6 days ago and I recently got a new prescription for the same medicine. Would it be okay to use the flagyl I alreadt have?

It would be best to check with your doctor, or pharmacist. Medications do tend to degrade over time, so it may no longer be effective.

The FDA classifies Flagyl as an antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
