Fill Oxycodone Prescription (Page 21) (Top voted first)

Cannot fill them anywhere in Bradenton or Sarasota. Please help I have a real doctor and the pharmacy I have been going to the past year in my city says they will no longer fill out of county. Does anyone know of a pharmacy in Bradenton or Sarasota that can help a patient fill qty 180 oxycodone 30mg? Please help. On the verge of getting deathly ill w/out meds! Thank you.

just hope everyone remembers all this at election time for govener. I am told because of our current gov. is why we are in such f'd up shape. not much into politics but with all the people on here and family and friends I bet we can make HIS life he'll on election day.

I hope you are referring to senior-in-pain. I live in Port Orange, Fl. and get my prescriptions through a well known pain clinic. (Port Orange and surrounding areas such as South Daytona, Fl. and Daytona Beach for prescriptions). I have not had too much trouble filling 15 mg. oxycodone 120 pills up until the last three weeks. Now pharmacies say they don't have it. Four Walgreens, and one Walmart. I am so scared now and I have tried to go off one half pill a day, and it is like I am starting over with a pain level of 10, yes just one-half pill. I thought I could slowly wean off, I mean I guess thats what they WANT, right? I agree with all of you here, it isn't right for them to pick and choose who they will sell the drugs for. This med has given me a quality to my life and I can function so well each day, also stopped those surprise panic attacks while driving in the car too. If I am forced to quit the meds, I will be back to limping around like a lame duck for the rest of my life and living with pain all over my body for many reasons. My husband who has a very serious health problem, I don't know how I will take care of him, helping him out of the shower and caring for his needs. Now I am so nervous when I am almost out of oxy, as I know you all are too. This is NOT what we need while we are suffering in pain every day. Why are we being punished like this? There is no other alternative for me as I have stomach irriation and have been on meds for stomach issues, as well as the blood pressure rising when taking Aleve. Where is the compassion, the understanding and the personal attention we used to have years ago? I for one, am willing to sign a class-action lawsuit to wake certain ones up that have absolutely no empathy for people in serious and unfortunate pain. Thanks for the site, and thanks for letting me vent.!

let your Dr know the trouble of getting your scripts filled and see if he can give you some methadone..

that way you can take those until you find a pharmacy that will fill your oxy's.. my hubby takes 30mg, 15mg xanax and methadone and believe me when i say 2 a day of 10mg methadone will get you by and you will not get drug sick.

some people think that the dones will counteract the oxys.. they dont and they are just another pain med that helps togther with oxy's

Thank you. I really was wondering what drug would work until the oxy's are available again. I have Humana insurance, and I hope they will agree to this prescription as well as the pain clinic doctor. I really appreciate your answer.

Methadone scripts aren't getting filled here in Hillsborough county either. My husband had to go back to the doc and tell them no one is filling this and they wrote him something else. But his reason for methadone is because he got addicted to hydrocodone, opiates. So what do they write him, morphine. Ridiculous!! I don't like seeing him in pain or withdrawal, so what is he to do.

What is copaxone and I have Medicaid and have appt for Aug 25 with my pain Dr and I know I can get percs but my back is killing me and have been thinking about fentenayl patch and something other than methane or morphine im allergic to both almost had heart attack on
Meth I haven't been able to fill oxys either 30 or 15 or dilaudid from my Dr since may. but all he dealers on the street have plenty and Miami is selling them 125 for 340.00 my hairdresser told me!! Tjats fricking ridiculous Miami has them for what we paid for them back two years ago at pharmacies. What is this world coming too????

ive beeen paying about 90 $ for 145 , 30 mg oxycodone with no ins from the same walgreens for the laast 18 months until may when they strarted tellin me they will no longer carry c2 medications .

If you are referring to me, senior-in-pain, I am in Volusia County. I did get my prescription refilled today. It has been mentioned that using the same pharm. and getting to know them, and them knowing you may be a bit of an advantage. At least in my case. My pharm. told me also, it will get worse, not better getting the prescriptions for oxycodone. I first used lortab for 2 years, and graduated to oxycodone 5m. three times a day. I now use the 15 mg.. 120 a month, at least for now! I am really worried about trying to wean off, but now that I know it's not going to be any easier, I can take a couple of months to taper off slowly instead of being in trauma after a" pharmacy crawl' with no results. Then, live the rest of my life in pain and/or misery as a couch potato. I have ordered some bepuzzled puzzles on the internet, and have a stack of reading material, and my sewing projects. I am ready to reduce my life to setting a LOT! I will blog as to how my tapering is doing, if it will help someone.

well, some hopeful news. ANYONE who can respond to this greatly appreciated.
my disability attorney said each pharmacy has discretion within 90 miles. i live in vero bch and my doctor is in the next town/county line over and i called and talked to them and walgreens who said "come in with the prescription and well verify and that we cant talk over the phone at all about this rx" but they didnt say they WOULDNT fill it like they do here in vero bch. i explained my situation and that i live in vero, but my doctor is right round the corner from you(walgreens) in port st lucie and would you fill the rx even with me residing in vero bch and walgreens manager said we cant talk about it but bring the rx in and we will verify and go from there. thats better than a flat out no. so i will take the chance and goto my doctor and hope a pharmacy will fill it. even the doctor said the broward location people get filled all the time in broward where there main office is at a broward pharmacy as they know you cant take a prescription across to another county and fill it, they want you to fill it by the doctor office. so i will try and see what happens in 2 weeks. seeing is at least there may be a chance with the pharmacy not saying no flatout but to come in with the rx and go from there. this is so frustrating, since my quack doctor got closed in june 2012, ive had no meds, no quality of life so to speak, in pain, no life other than laying down and sleeping...cant go out, etc. i really hope port st lucie will fill the rx since the doctor is also in pt st lucie...its just my drivers liscence is the next town over in vero bch,fl in different county but maybe they will do it and will soon find out.
its almost like you need to break the law to get a rx filled now adays. theres no doctors doing pain management in vero unless you have major insurance and until my disability hearing in 6 months, i have no insurance except the limited benefits plan from blue cross that pays almost nothing(they turned me down for major coverage due to my neck/jaw surgery in 2010) so i got the limited benefits plan but no doctors here will take it and my last hope is my attorneys sent me to there doctor in the nere county about 10 minutes from me 1 town over from vero.
anyways hope this works...anyone know if i will get it filled being from vero bch in port st lucie? hoping someone out there has or is doing this now so to put my mind at ease. thanx

Rae, I'm in TN and have the same problem monthly at the same Rite Aid pharmacy in the Boro! It depends on the pharmacist, if it's Racheal the female pharmacist it's smooth sailing, if it's Larry the mail pharmacist...come back tomorrow! I hate it! I wrote a letter to the management at Rite Aid and the next day I had Larry calling and appologizing but when I went to get my script filled shortly after, I got the same problem from him! I've only been in PM since April,but every month I've had the same problem here in TN. I moved all my families scripts to Krogers on Middle Tennessee BLVD and have not had a problem with them yet. I want a pharmacist that I can get to know and talk to about side effects, not one that thinks they know what is best for me!

I got a scrip from a legit Dr. and tried every drugstore from FT Myers to Tampa and had no luck just a back that is aching more from all the driving. The Dr's just look at the slip and say don't have it. They don't check ID or anything.

But you can get on the Coviden Malikroft patient assistance program where you pay a 20.00 copay for oxycodone up to 90 pills for 30 day supply I know I have used it!! let me know I will send anyone who needs it the application.

Donna I know of a patient assistance program to get the oxycodone for a 20.00 copay and they tell you what pharmacy to go to even please get with me on facebook so I can fax you this application for you to pass on to everyone!!
