Epclusa Ruined My Life (Page 11) (Top voted first)

Has anyone experienced severe anxiety, constant crawling feeling in body after epclusa treatment. Its like my brain and body aren't working right anymore? I had terrible side effects. Finished in January, now it's June and feels like I'm still taking the poison.

Hi Kathleen, well it's been 10 days today trying to clear sore in my leg,dr put me on second lot of antibiotics today,these ones suppose to be stronger ,I mentioned to dr that I had nothing like this before Epclusa !! He just said "oh no that wouldn't cause this " anyway just seems to be getting bit bigger and inflamed plus sore ,got to wait till Monday see what the results are from swab they took off , I'm not really expecting them too find anything besides being ulcer on leg,may have to go to hospital for couple days if doesn't start healing not looking forward to that,as you can imagine hectic at hospital, these new antibiotics make me feel bit breathless nausea ,hope your ok ,take care.

Oh Lou, you and I just cant live normally after Epclusa. I keep getting pin point sized red dots on nose. They spread and last a month or so. Glad I have to wear mask when going out so no one can see them. I am watching a new series called isolation outback i think. Its about a couple roaming the mans brothers thirty five thousand acre property. Its really cool..but next to dying the spiders scare the crap out of me. My goodness they ate lzrge and very scarey. California has more covid cases than I could imagine. I've been out once in two weeks for cat scan. Im not wanting to be out and around people. Im so sorry about your leg. Can you tell your doctor that you are on Epclusa forum and that you and I are having same problems. Hotter than haties here. Do you have to wear masks there? I just want you to know that chatting with you has given me peace of mind. That your friendship and courage have helped me greatly. Well I'm going to sleep. Hope you are feeling better on antibiotics.

Hi, Kathleen,well I'm sitting in hospital bed lol,had to go to hospital my leg after 2 and half prescri ptio s was just just getting worse and the antibiotics making me nausea sick plus ankle puffing up ,just had injection penicillin plus different antibiotics ,feeling bit better already I had a cat scan on my lungs hour ago ,just got to wait now don't like being in hear everyone coughing including me my asthma playing up anxiety I think,will get back to later ,no I haven't seen that show on tv .take care.

Wow I'm so sorry. I was thinking about you. Hoping your leg was getting better. I'm afraid to go to the hospital. Afraid of covid-19 lurking in every corner. Epclusa..the gift that keeps on giving. Thanks my friend,I'm out of hospital now ,so glad,I'm feeling much better they gave me injection penicillin type anti biotic,leg is finally bearing,the antibiotics my dr gave me were terrible made me sick ,thanks for your thoughts ,I just felt like messaging you while in hospital ,I know U can relate ,glad I'm out of there.its 4 am so will try for bit more sleep may be ,talk soon.

Hi Kathleen, I'm out of hosp now thank god,it's been stressful masks 24 hrs ,I find it bit hard to breathe with mask on but dsfinatley worth it ,apparently a dr in hospital told me that instead of making me start 3rd lot of anti biotic ,after second script made no improvement he should have given me injection of stronger penicillin instead of starting me on the 3rd script,the injection I had in hospital made big difference first night,I still feel nauseas bloated from the antibiotics script my dam dr insisted I take,plus he refuses to give me anything for my anxiety or leg pain ,also still refuses to even think that maybe Epclusa may have weakened my immune system,just because the hep C people who make there money off Epclusa told him it would not cause any I'll effects,mmm ,so frustrating ,really hope you are not near forest fires over there,and you are ok ,now IV gotta try find myself a decent dr who is a bit understanding ( not easy ) especially now ,I can't believe this is happening it's like a bad science fiction movie,things are not looking good for Trump,that's one bit of good news hey!! Wow your dr sounds awful. Glad shot of penicillin is working. It was 112 here yesterday. Some kind of fresh hell to torture us with. Is cannabis legal there because i get gummies from a cannabis store which is legal here. They work well. Mellow me out. Help me sleep. Going to be 110 here again today and through the week. My drs dont reply much when i tell them how Epclusa has affected me. They think because i have a zero viral load that it did its job. Yes hopefully in November Trump will be looking for private businesses to drain dry. Take his snake oil medicine and hit the road selling it. Deutch Bank sure wont lend him money again. Having post offices drive around and take hundreds of mail boxes off streets to make mail in voting difficult. Then he will call for numerous recounts. He now knows how hated he is in USA. I have never had such a dishonest, thieving, president in office. Making USA look bad. Starting race riots. Talking bad about women. Well going to try to sleep. Been awake all night due to heat. Take care of your leg. Thinking of you my compadre in arms against Epclusa.

Great to here from you! Brightens my day, yes can't wait for Trump to go. He is so slimy. Don't worry there's rednecks down here who think he's great also, (scary). What is gummy?? lol sounds funny. Cannabis still illegal here. I think maybe one can have a personal few grams. Where I live is near Nimbin, about 50 miles. It's the pot capital over here. Check it out on the net. You might get a laugh. The little town is painted bright colors, few old and young hippies cruising around, can buy hemp products there. If I go over that way when this virus finishes I will get you a Nimbin t shirt ok. Always good to hear from you. Take care ok. Hope you get some sleep. I'm not looking forward to summer at all. Oh yeah, ended up getting air con. I haven't tried it yet. Now that I've bought it'll probably be the coldest summer in history, lol. If only. Heat and smoke don't agree with me.

Hi just me again,,I just saw weather report apparently it reached 150 degrees at Death Valley,hope not to close to where you are,,also in Siberia think near Russia it was 25 degrees above normal usually ice everywhere over there ,I don't know what's going on,I think maybe someone not happy with human race, if you look at internet Coraki town where I live is probably on it might show the floods from few years ago ,try an stay cool,sometimes wet towel on shoulder s helps drink plenty water.

Hi Kathleen,,yes you're right. My dr is an idiot, I had an appointment yesterday drove 25 miles to see him, only to see a sign on door saying no face to face appointments till further notice. Wow he could have rang to tell me. Last week he wanted to see me to check my breathing. While I was in hospital couple weeks ago they did few tests on me ( I can't remember ) apparently a couple of spots have shown on chest x-ray thing they do maybe called MRI. Anyway now I get a call from hospital I have to see a lung specialist in September, just another thing for me to stress about. I'm getting so sick of it all, Anyway I asked my stupid dr what it was about all he could say was it's all very vague !! thanks.

How are you doing anyway? Sick of talking about my crappy problems, this pandemic has really turned everything upside down. I have been watching all the election stuff on tv. Do you think he will squirm back in to power? I really hope not. He's disgusting. I thought Bush was nuts but Trump, I can't understand how he got voted in!!! The hot weather must be hard for you. Starting to warm up over here in the day, still cold at night. Forest fires have started already. The smoke is really bad, gotta close all doors windows, bad for my asthma. I don't know how long I can put up with problems, I hate old age lol. Take care.

Hi lou. Not sick of hearing about your health. Your health and mine are parallel. I've been so sick for last few days. Im not in pain. I just dont feel right. I can not sleep well. I have to have an ultrasound done for cancer screening of my liver. I have one every 6 months. Do you? I dont know what to say about trump. He is very hated here by many but his base cant do the right thing. I cant even watch news when he comes on. Pence just as evil. I hope USA has grown up a little and stand up to him. We had another black man killed (unarmed) three days ago. He has created hate like I've never seen before here. It's so bad that basketball and football teams refuse to play games. California is on fire again. Fires surround where I live. Smoke so bad it can be seen from Arizona. Which is 3 states away. I'm sorry you had to go all the way to dr. for nothing. I know that was not right. I have seen that your country is still struggling with covid also. Its been 6 months since life has been normal. I see no let up. Hi Kathleen, sorry you aren't feeling to good. Praying for you. I get these emails sent to me from hep council. I think the last one I got was racing about their miracle cure Epclusa and how it had very little side effects. I replied setting them strait on their treatment! I told the guy to look on the net about nerve damage and all the other problems people are getting. Hope he reads it!! Sometimes I think all these fires, floods, hurricanes, Trump ECT, is the human race getting paid back for all the horrible things some humans do (not us, usually rich humans). I rang my dr yesterday to try and find out when I have to go see a specialist about 2 spots on my lung. I think early September, but of course he couldn't find the details the hospital sent him. He was going to ring me and tell me, ha ha sure. You people are really getting a hard time over there!! I hope your son and friends are safe. Yes the police shootings are a disgrace, always on the news over here. I just want to hear that Trump's gone. He's a real con man. Scares me that people listen to his crap. Anyway mate please take it easy. I had to have a little laugh when you said lately you have not been sleeping and not feeling real good, because as usual I'm feeling the exact same thing. Lucky if I get 2 hrs of sleep sometimes, most times. My dr doesn't understand anything about hcv. If ever you can't sleep send me a message, I would probably be awake feeling yuk too!!

Hi Kathleen, hope you are going ok, fires look terrible in U.S. I have to go back to specialist November to see if spots on my lung have changed apparently small I think 17 mm bit over half inch I think two spots, first thing he says is don't smoke, that's exactly what I felt like doing now just another thing to stress about. I also have liver cancer scan in November. This one scares me. Please leave your lungs alone. Give them a chance.

I'm not sure if we will have to evacuate because of fires. Sacramento which is the city i live in..Carmichael is a suburb of sacramento. It is surrounded by wild fires. Some idiots had a gender revel party and used an incendiary device and set off a fire still uncontained. People are so selfish. Who cares enough to do that to tell people the sex of their baby? For God's sake babies are born everyday everywhere without such selfish parents.

Are you getting any kind of sores from Epclusa? I keep getting them around nose. They are awful and last for a month or so. What next? Take care Lou. Always thinking/worrying about you.

Terrible news about fires, praying you and family, friends are safe, I can relate about to what you are going through after the fires here last year, in fact the specialist I saw last week told me that smoke from fires plus working in dusty areas, and all the other things asbestos lead paint, and of course certain medical treatments, hcv virus all may have had negative effect on my lungs, and of course smoking didn't help! I remember being in hospital in the 70s cigarettes were sold in canteen plus trains always had smoking carriages every second add on tv was for cigarette s, lucky to live this long I think, just wish we could sue them for damages, we suffer while they get rich (Epclusa) yes the sores I have to watch if ever I get a scratch or similar I have to watch that doesn't get infected, like the last one on my shin ended up 3 antibiotics scripts then hospital penicillin injections, ok now but has taken over a month to heal .still the liver Epclusa people refuse to admit that it may have contributed to any ill effects!! How can they be so sure, some humans really make me sick, just like those selfish gender wierdos , you told me about, somedays I really feel like a dinosaur, I just don't fit into a lot of things that are considered normal these days.

Really hope everything goes ok for you with liver appointment, will be thinking of you ok,hope you are ok with fires, smoke, please try stay safe,hope you have somebody to help you if you have to move!! Oh I nearly forgot does your air con help inside with the smoke from fires.???IV only used the air con once since I got it hasn't been hot enough yet plus bit scared I'm going to press wrong button on remote and blow it up,it looks like a scary robot just hanging on wall, lol, should help I hope, take care praying an thinking the best for you.

I use a/c from about noon to eight pm. Helps with heat. It is an air conditioner outside. Large unit. I have vents in all rooms up high on walls. If you live in California you MUST have one. We are in a valley in CA. So heat comes and stays. We sometimes get a delta breeze. Live half mile from The American River.

Smoke is awful. Sun and moon look orange. Literally fire is surrounding where I live. I have a cat and dog and am so worried about evacuation.
We are famous for having more trees per capita than any other city but urban sprawl will keep us safer.

Do you have any ideas on how to unite Epclusa survivors together? I am tortured because I have no way to warn hopeful patients.

Yes I remember your fires last year. Satan on the war path. Speaking of satan.. less than two months until trump gets his. If he should win I think my will to live will diminish. Truly.

Hi. Surviving but smoke so bad that it rains soot on cars and everything.

Talked to liver dr. Physicians assistant and she cant seem to grasp my exhaustion. I said Epclusa changed my life. I feel so cheated. She said talk to my pcp. Really?

Cooking dinner. Mundane but necessary. I hope your leg is better.

No blackouts yet. We try to not use too much electricity but living in California means heat over 300 days a year. I hate it here. Such predjuice/trump hate here... but everywhere. I'm putting in my email address. Not sure it will go through but its at the least that Epclusa can do.

Hi, I feel for you, just starting to get hot here. I'm so not looking forward to heat, seasons are definitely changing for the worse. They have started doing burn offs of large areas, supposedly to reduce fires in summer. Trouble is the smoke that happens with it, plus they burn sugarcane in spring and summer which is terrible sickly sweet smell. My car is covered in soot some mornings, the humidity is usually in 90s most nights, last night was terrible hard to breathe, have to close windows. Air isn't that healthy, I was awake at 2.30 again coughing?? A lot of people are hoping Trump gets kicked out over here, our stupid prime minister seems to get on with him oh dear!! They censored your email address, I'm trying to work out how I could send mine. Really hope you get some rain to put fires out. Seems everything is so corrupted these days, nothing surprises me with corrupt politicians, or drug companies big business etc.
