Has anyone any info on this product=KurZyme? Is it worth the money if it's necsessary to continue to take everyday for the rest of your life? I would like to know where to find the best deal if I get feedback that it IS a good product and that people are truly getting well, esp. after years of chronic pain...thanks for your help and prayers if you are so inclined to pray for me and my condition and situation. God bless all... ## This is an over the counter supplement, thus it is touted to help with many conditions, but not proven. It contains Protease (an enzyme), Bromelain (from pineapples) and Papain. (from Papaya) There is no proof that these help with anything, they are also not tested for side effects, interactions with other drugs and etc. If you're having a health problem...

Has anyone else tried this? ## I got the libertas multi with ABDEK through CF services Pharmacy 800.541.4959. The bubblegum chewables are closest to source CF and less expensive than aquadeks. Our friend also said these are available free of charge on creon care forward program ## This is one multivitamin I haven't tried yet. I'm curious to know what the specific list of ingredients are and what sources they might be derived from, if either of you happen to have that information?... Last week the P/A increased my dosage of Zenpep from 5,000 units a meal to 50,000 units a meal. It has not helped. I will call her tomorrow with the sad results. Does anyone taken a higher dose and, if so, did it solve the problem? ## Hi Joanne, How are you? I haven't taken Zenpep myself, but based on my research Zenpep is available in six different dosage strengths, and each one is dependent upon on what amount your healthcare provider suggests you use (since everyone's case may be different). You can also get a lot of the enzymes found in Zenpep by simply eating a diet rich in fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs. So if you feel like it's not working as well as you think it should, then I would probably think it'd be wise to analyze your diet and see where you can make ...

Sir my metabolism is very weak and am also very weak and thin my age is 22 my weight is 45 ## Hi aman, Outside of using steroids or supplements that increase your appetite, I think the safest way to go about gaining weight would revolve around what you eat on a day to day basis as well as how often you do weight lifting/strength training. If your metabolism isn't functioning at its best, I would also consider taking probiotics and digestive enzymes to help process the foods you eat more efficiently. High intensity interval training is another type of exercise that can rev up your metabolism in a way that encourages fat loss and promotes muscle growth. So as you can see there are plenty of little things you can do to help get you going on the right path. If you have any other questio...

Are there any immediate side effects after taking disperzyme tabs like acidity, bloating etc ?? ## From what I've read, Disperzyme tablets are usually well tolerated by most individuals. However my research does note that, bloating, as well as other intestinal disturbances may result from its use; and can be avoided more often than not, by simply adjusting the timing and frequency of the dosage. I've also heard of other patients mentioning similar side effects after taking this particular combination of enzymes. Perhaps it's just too much of a good thing?

I take lanzoprasol for reflix, but enzyprime is providing digestive relief. Is there any adverse effect of taking both medicines? ## From what I can find, Enzypride just contains enzymes that aid in digestion, so there shouldn't be any problems, unless your doctor has told you not to use them together. I'd suggest double checking with your doctor or a pharmacist first, since they may be aware of interactions between them that aren't listed in the databases. Are there any other questions or concerns?

side effects from this product ## does kurzyme work?? ## would kurzyme help to reduce a blockage in a heart coronary artery ? ## Kurzyme is just an over the counter supplement that contains a variety of enzymes and herbs, thus it hasn't actually been proven to help with any medical condition and it has not been tested for side effects, as is done with prescription medications. And when it comes to a blockage in a coronary artery, please check with your doctor before taking anything, since there is still a possibility that supplements may interact with certain medications, or cause problems with certain medical conditions. Are there any questions or comments?

It is oblong and white in color ## Is it possible RP 144? If so, that's an over the counter product that contains enzyme to help those that are lactose intolerant to be able to digest dairy products. I can't find specifics on the exact ingredients, but they are available in most drug and grocery stores and are basically considered safe, unless someone has a medical condition prohibiting its use. Where did you find it? ## I'm about to pop one in my mouth now. RPI44, oblong white pill; mine is walmart's "Equate" (store brand) dairy digestive supplement (ie. lactase).

where can I purchase the combination trypsin bromelain and rutin? ## I haven't been able to locate a specific supplement for Trypsin, but according to a number of websites, pineapple is one of the riches natural sources of Trypsin, in the form of "Bromelain." Bromelain is a collection of protein-digesting enzymes called "proteolytic." Proteolytic enzymes are found in pineapple juice, as well as the stem of the plant. So Eating Pineapple on a regular basis alone would replace the need to buy a Trypsin and Bromelain supplement. Additionally, many local health food stores carry Rutin supplements in their dietary section. It is also important to know that Trypsin (in it's original form) is not required as an additive or supplement, as it is generated by the human bod...

For many years I have had a problem digesting starch, especially if a starchy meal has been followed with a sweet dessert. There is usually a vile breath issue that lasts for days. I have started self administering amylase and it has helped, but am not sure how many pills I can pop before I possibly "overdose". Does anyone have information re what the maximum recommended USP units are for amylase per meal? I have capsules at the moment which have 75,000 USP units per tablet, and I sometimes take 2 at a time. Wondering whether this can be injurious at all. Any help or advice here would be appreciated. Has anyone else out there experienced problems when mixing starch & sugar in the same meal? eagerly awaiting some responses Jack
