Zenpep After Pancreatic Surgery In March, 2010

Last week the P/A increased my dosage of Zenpep from 5,000 units a meal to
50,000 units a meal. It has not helped. I will call her tomorrow with the sad results. Does anyone taken a higher dose and, if so, did it solve the problem?

I haven't taken Zenpep myself, but based on my research Zenpep is available in six different dosage strengths, and each one is dependent upon on what amount your healthcare provider suggests you use (since everyone's case may be different).

You can also get a lot of the enzymes found in Zenpep by simply eating a diet rich in fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs. So if you feel like it's not working as well as you think it should, then I would probably think it'd be wise to analyze your diet and see where you can make any adjustments, if possible.

Probiotics might also prove to be beneficial alongside these digestive enzymes, to help your gut metabolize nutrients better and more efficiently.
