Drug Testing By Suboxone Doctors (Page 2)

I have been on suboxone for the past couple months and it's is working out great. I have not touched opiates since. The doctor also prescribed me 10 klonopin last month because I'm having a lot of panic attacks and anxiety. I took a couple Xanax a week before I went in for my monthly visit because 10 klonopin just wasnt enough for my anxiety a month. I did save 2 klonopin for the last week prior to my visit. I took a urine drug screen. My question is, will my suboxone doctor be able to tell that I took Xanax a week prior. I went to the lab in the office right next to his office to take the urine screen. He prescribed me 10 again but said I can call in 10 days and get more if needed which is great cause now I will have just what i am prescribed in my system from now on. Will he know that I took both Xanax and klonopin and how long before he gets the results. I can't get kicked out of this program. It is saving my life.

Will methocarbenol show up as benzos in a drug screening test. I've been on Suboxon for 7 months. They perscribed methocarbenol as a muscle relaxer. And also I was on klonipin for yrs now they won't let me take that with Suboxon. Everyone is different I was on opiots for 17 years and decided to get off them. Went in the hospital to do that and was taking klonipin for severe anziety. Now they say I can't take the klonpin with Suboxon. I never abused my medicine I took as perscribed. But nothing they give me helps with anziety but klonipin so what can I do? Pls help. I live in St Louis county. Thank you. And don't forget about the methocarbenol if it will show up as benzos in a drug screening test.Ty

I'm sorry about your problem but happy to find another person who's gone thru this. I searched seemingly forever before finding your post! You are the only other patient I've been able to find that has had a false negative for suboxone (everyone else is sweating pos tests) & my Dr asked me why I tested negative. I just shook my head & said there's no way - test had to be wrong. I took it the night before, like I always have for the past 7yrs. I'm very worried about it happening again. Have you found a reason yet, as to why this occurred in your situation? I'd be very interested in hearing anything you may have found, as I've found zilch on my own.
