Does Cialis Cause Mood Swings (Page 2) (Top voted first)

I'd just like to know if anybody else has any experience of seeming to be more irritable and emotional during the time that they are getting the effects from Cialis?

I took a generic cialis 20 mg and it cost me my relationship that was on thin ice anyway. I got irritable and mentally aggressive, with mood swings and overreacted to something my girlfriend did and she freaked out on me. I wouldn't have reacted that way normally. I will never take it again. Its been 24 hrs. just about and I still have a headache and mood swings. This sucks. From the looks of it many others have experienced this. This is messed up. They need to take this off the market.

My Husband takes it and I've noticed about 30 minutes to an hour after he does, he becomes EXTREMELY angry and ANYTHING will set him off like tonight. Im calling our family Dr Monday. Increased libido isn't worth the anger or mean things he says out of nowhere. They need to take this stuff off the market. He's normally calm and loving.

Hey jonboy, I went through the same thing with my girlfriend. I had only known her 4 mos but we were on our way up. I it had been an emotional roller-coaster anyway. I overreacted to something she did and sent her b$#? Texts that I look at and say what was I thinking? I left no room to explain myself. Messed up. I feel ya dude.

Yes. I experience both irritability and mild depression for two days after taking Cialis.None the day of the dose, only the days following.

Today, for the first time I have experienced severe irrational irritability after a dose of cialis. My head is swimming with rage and I can't stand to be around people. Usually I take it with food. I won't take it alone again.

I have had mood swings on a few occasions since taking Cialis. I also drink a fair amount and have wondered whether it may be as a result of a combination of the two. At first I notice it as the effect of the drug was wearing off; I felt down a couple of times. Recently it has happened a couple of days after taking a pill, so it appears not to be a consistent side-effect. I'd be interested in thoughts on this.

I have noticed anger, loosing it, irritability in my husband since he started on Cialis. Our doctor and the specialist said Cialis would not cause this. I believe there is a connection, but the manufacturer probably does not mention it as it is a question of business.

Just did a search for this as my husband recently started taking cialis for bph. He has become irratable, angry and hostile to me. I try to reason with him, when he loses his temper over the stupidest things. But when he flies into these rages there is just no talking to him. Im worried for him and wish he would listen to reason. Im glad (relative term) that it's not just my imagination. Very troubling after 38 years of marriage to see him like this. So now he can pee, but he is an angry irritable man. So sad

I took it 6 times and each time I noticed depression and brain fog and anxiety . First few times it lasted a few days, then two weeks, last time I took it was two weeks ago and have bad anxiety.
I have thrown out the rest and will never touch it again

I am a fit 49 year old and take 5mg once or twice a week for Mild BPH.
I've noticed a couple of times that I get SUPER irritable and snap at small things (kids/ wife etc).
Such a bummer because it helps and it's kinda fun to have a mega Dimond cutter on occasion. However, I can get along fine without it for that most of the time. But in reading these and noticing my behavior changes I'm thinking it's not worth it. Always the bad with the good when it comes to meds.

Yes, My husband had very bad mood swings on that drug. I am so glad he stopped taking it. We were just about ready to get a divorced after 27 years of marriage. I was so up set with his doctor. I called and told the doctor that there should be warnings about the mood swings and meanest. The doctor sent a letter to my husband that said, "because of your "wifes" phone call," my husband could no longer be his patient." WOW

I have been taking the Tazzle (Tadalafil 10 mg) for a few days and its hell for about 2 hours after taking the pill.

I experience severe headache and sometimes irritability, but my doc did warn about the headache when prescribing this.

Taking Acetaminophen or Paracetamol along with this pill will certainly alleviate these effects to some extent.

I have been using Calais for 6 years it has always had a different side effect on me, such as headache, eyes redness, blurry vision, skin rashes, itching, sometimes a black or brown spot appears on my skin which it looks like burned or I hit something hot, muscle ache, mood swings and chest pain I have had all of this problem as a result of using Cialis now even worse. I have come to the conclusion to stop using it forever.

I have been taking antidepressant medications (Valdoxan), and while on them cialis caused me severe depression and anxiety for app. 48 hours. Now, beside Valdoxan, I am treated with a mood stabilizer (Lamotrigine). The latter prevents any mood swings and indeed, I do not experience any depression.

My husband is 59yrs old and is being treated for BPH. The doctor put him on Cialis 5mg daily dose 3 months ago, and he's not acting like himself at all. I have notices extreme irritability, paranoia, thinking that I am lying to him. He has told me F...U... on several occasions. He is giving me underlying messages that he wants me to leave. I am very distraught at this point and don't know what to do. I am really afraid for him and us. We have had our share of problems for 13 yrs, but I have never seen such a personality change in him. I have had numerous stressors lately, between him saying FU to me, our finances which by the way everytime I try to talk to him he accuses me of a personal attack. Anyway, on top of all that I have been grieving over the loss of our dog. I googled the mfr. and it doesn't have any reference to this side effect nor does WebMD or our pharmacist.

It is happening to me too!! i've been going nuts!! incredible intercourse but i thought i was going crazy!! I've been trying to find a solution to my mood and this could be it!!

Had a fantastic weekend getaway with hubby & since we got back had awful mood swings & anger spouts.
Felt like u came home with a completely different man or one that possessed. It baffled me until I realized it might Caulis. Reading everyone's comments it seems to be the case & he now needs to go back to the doc for a chat before something horrible happens. Especially before I hit menopause - not good to have both of us off the rails!!!

Please understand, many things can make a PSA blood test come back higher. It does not mean cancer, or need a biopsy! Doctors lie a lot, they need to make money!! Contact the FDA about side effects of Flomax and Cialis. My husband is getting very bad Mood Swings and anger problems from these drugs. Doctors LIE!!

My husband has had very extreme mood changes when he takes it. In his own words, it makes him feel irrational and aggressive. And that is after a couple of days from taking it. I have asked him to never take it again.

My husband ending up dying of a heart attack. I truly believe that his ED was a symptom of heart problems and by taking the cialis at age 45, it only exacerbated the lroblem. My husband of 28 years was otherwise very healthy. He did not drink, smoke or eat poorly. He did have back and leg pain about 10 mths prior..which lasted on and off.

I think that any doctor that prescribes Cialis for anyone under 50 might want to check for heart problems...my husband had normal blood pressure and only slightly elevated cholesterol. The doctors actually ordered an autopsy because they couldn't believe it. I think this could also be a problem with with meds online that don't require a prescription because no one is monitoring. My husband had what he thought was heartburn, in the end, I realized that it was heart problems.
