Sorry to post again .. Just want to thank u F100.. I did indeed send a message to Doctor Tenant after I found his web site with a lot of care he & his staff must of worked hard on. I found it very useful & I couldnt believe he took his time out to find out how I was doing & try to offer his support . NOW THATS A DOCTOR!! Now u can't even get a doc to sit still listen or even look at u.then it takes weeks to get in.or they're telling u @ least up front so u don't waist money or ur time or theirs ... "That the doctors who work in this office will not write any scripts for any pain Meds." Yet they do write presctions for blood pressure,diabeties,fibramialga etc. I think of doctor Tenant often & how nice it was of him to think of me! He's got a strong backbone as do the other doctors he's gotten together.i bless him for his kindness & strength to go above & beyond to make a difference. We need many more like him.As always my best to U all I've met on here.& to u NJSHORE I do hope U found some relief from ur pain last nite.bless u all

F100 ... AMEN TO U !! Finaly, who is this BL ... Seen some posts long ago & yet never saw a mention of an illness or pain & YES U R right.there are so many sites.I've even found 1 about the white jacket lies...Talks about how docs leave out info or change things so they don't get into any trouble if a patient has had a problem or problems & go elsewhere so they don't get into trouble!! U can't talk to or trust most of these docs.we have the right to have ins.We have he right to b treated with proper care just as anyone who as U said needs care for something else!! BL wat is it that u suffer from?We've all been wanting to no so maybe u can get the help U need or at least the kindness & compassion we offer on here.U can find the info on the web or call ur local state board of health.Even the ins. Co.s Want the proper care that is available for those in need.They don't want all the extra expenses of ER runs.& with so many in pain that can't work it's costing each state so much in so many ways!! It's hurting us in pain & our families!!So if we can help let us no WAT IS UR PROBLEM?

BL you must be ignorant or some thing is wrong with you. Google pain patients bill of rights and just se how many drs. and others talk about our right as pain patients to receive pain meds and the right to take any pain meds we want to put in our bodies. Google Dr. Forest Tenant he helped pass a new law for pain patients rights to strong opiates for pain control and is a very respected dr. Then tell me that there is no laws or we as pain patients don't have rights to be treated for pain just as someone is treated for a broken arm. Google it there is long list on this topic. And by the way what is your illnes or pain from for you to be on here talking about something you may nothing about

Janet Marie. I no I've felt my Mom beside me on these many sleepless nites.i can hear my Dad @ times...saying it will b ok.get up & go do something.just as he would on those days so long ago when trying to play hooky from school so I could stay home! It may seem strange to some.the hardest part I will always live with is the very bad descissions made after they both past so close together.things I got rid of & so much more while I was in so much physical pain & on that tramadol U just couldn't think, or get any relief from the pain. I will always have these pox like scars on my arms legs etc. As a real reminder, that & the withdrawls.im still dealing with body problems like my left leg.& now lately my right leg.i feel for u & no wat u say bout ur neurologist. Mine just shakes his head & can't give me a straight answer.then this spine doc wanting to open me up put in nuts & bolts just from an X-ray.then kept leaving the room.had the nerve then to ask how Id b paying for the surgery!! I'm going elsewhere thank u for nothing.as I left I asked a young lady y he didn't even take the time to show MY xray. She did & yes it's bad.later I had to laugh with a nurse friend that maybe he had payments to make on a summer house, then said I wonder if he'd b leaving back & forth during the operation!! It hurts most that because of how bad I was on tramadol that my son & his girlfriend moved out.i don't blame them after wat all happened.so being alone has made it harder.i can't believe how bad that med changed me. I'm lucky to b alive after the SERITONIN syndrome.y body doesn't jolt as much as it used 2 all Nite long. My best. I hope u can find an answer to

Karen from Columbus. I go thru previous postings that I missed. I feel for you.
It blows my mind how doctors have the nerve to not return my calls for almost 3mos. What happened to First Do No Harm? My last neurologist had the whole thing on his door. I am sorry about your losses. After my grandmother
passed away I saw her in my sleep. I wasn't dreaming I felt her. She used to
put her finger up to her mouth and say shh. She was visiting me.
My lovely neurologist is playing with my life.

NJSHORE im so glad to see u post !! Yet not under those conditions, of such chronic pain. I keep U in my thoughts & prayers. I've known we've posted back & forth. The worst I felt for u was when u were on the floor in such pain ur husband didn't no how to help !! Bless u dearly & I hope u can find some relief! I to would feel the comfort from my Mother just to have her next to me & she always comforted me by rubbing my head & playing with my hair. She sang a song too. I keep tying to remember it. Only some I remember! It's almost 1am.here & I'm still dealing with the aftermath of that tramadol.i keep U & all the others I've gotten to no on here close to my heart & pray that things get better. As always stay safe, stay informed. My best to all.

hi guys, i listen to you my friends and your pain both physical and mental and i feel so sorry for you it hurts me to the core for you... the last few days my crohns has been awful! unfortunately this time of year seems to be worst but the pain is so bad that even pain meds don't do a darn thing... Ill tell you what my dear friends... I will pray for you please pray my pain eases tonight... the pain is excruiating and i just cant stand it! I hear ya Karen with the death of Mom, etc... I lost both my parents, you know my story... i miss them so much... im 47 years old and if my mom was a live i would be laying in her lap while she rubbed my back and her touch would heal me!.... i MISS THEM TERRIBLY... well guys gone go try to will the pain away!!!! you know everything I do and everything I want in life is for my daughter and wonderful husband and believe it or not some of the things i will be doing will be for you guys too... but that too will unveil one day soon... love to all. please God take all our pain away!!!!!!! much love, njshore ...

Dear Janet Marie, I'm glad I got ur name right this time. i remember sitting in the church beside my Dad & putting my arm around him 2 try 2 comfort him & laying my head then on his shoulder 2 try 2 find some comfort 4 myself. He reached over & held my hand while the service continued 4 my Mom. I did get the strength up 2 do my reading at the podium. I did not use my cane & was determined 2 pushed through 4 my Dad. & my Mom even though she was gone , yet I believe in spirit she was there.never thought Id get through that. Then a month & a half later my Dad passed... I feel so alone & lost. At times I wish they were still here, yet I wouldn't want them 2 c how much worse things have gotten. How I can't walk well & stumble or drop things.Yes I cry ! Living shouldn't ever b this hard & the quality of life we should b able 2 have !! 2 do all the things we need & want 2 do. Friends have slipped away, not knowing how that hurts, yet they don't understand the pain the limitations or how 2 help they feel uncomfortable & family is the same way, a bit more helpful by calling & talking about other things, yet the calls slow down 2.its not right at all wats been happing 2 anyone in any kind of pain.pain management was the worst. The shots they say 2 help & then keep u coming back. I ended up screaming so hard all he would say is it ain't that bad b quiet! Then came diabetes full blown onset from the shots of cortisone. so I can't take the shots & that whole system needs shut down & redone. so many keep getting high dose Meds they don't even use or need then sellin them on the street. Or ripping people off by selling hurtful meds. how they get these meds I can't understand & 4 so long!

Janet Marrie , I'm so sorry 2 hear all Uve been through. It's so hard 2 deal with the pain & such a very bad medical system. The care has gone from health care. Even the health part doesn't work either ! I no I've lost both my parents last yr. Couldn't deal well with that being on that med tramadol. In the same boat we all seem 2 b in. Can't believe how sick I still am. Still no help. My left leg goes numb & the nerve damage has left me with twitches along my arms & hands. Sometimes I reach 4 something & can't grab it. I spill things or drop things in the floor. I do hope u can get some relief & feel better!! ?? Uve been in my thoughts & prayers. As well as so many I've met on here. I've posted but keeps saying under review ! Then they just haven't posted them. So my best 2 u & all the others continuing 2 struggle just 2 find some comfort.im getting my paper work which I've found has things wrong thats been written or not even finished.going 2 do the same about letting the state health board no wats been happing 2 me. & I think it will help if all suffering do the same. They need 2 no.xoxo

I appreciate that someone spelled out the Medical Review Board.
I would like to check that out. I'm overtired now. Perhaps if I do something about this situation I could relax.
I have ms. I was having infusions for the past 9 yrs. I felt a little better
with the infusions. I have MS fatigue. going to my infusion was the closest I came to a social life. My neurologist said I have to go off the
infusion. In September of 2014 my world turned turned upside down. My left leg started to hurt a lot. It was the only day in years that I called my DR.
My first cousin was dying. I could not physically do a thing about it. I am not just saying that he was my favorite cousin because it seems like people all of a sudden seem to do that. My little brother died in 9/2013. My older brother died in 9/4/2004. My father went on 9/3/2003.
My cousin walked with his hand on my back thru the whole cemetery thing.
He was the last. The whole point to this is that my neurologist couldn't help
get me through the day.
He is a memorable part of my life in a bad way.
I wish I could replace him. I don't know how to replace a neurologist. My last neurologist is hours away He was very good to me. I saw him since
1991. My eyes are burning. Its 3:45AM.

Trying 2 b helpful 2 anyone dealing with chronic pain. I wish my post from last Nite would have posted. I hate that! So a short 1. If u have questions about some of the posts & would like 2 c wat has been written & posted. U can go back pages & c wat has been said in those posts ... I've found it's helped me. There is great information & yes it helps. these posts sometimes don't go through or are behind. So it gets sometimes confusing. such as my posts about Tramadol or Ultram which others have posted about also. i can say 4 me its a toxic med. That was being given out like candy ... Till people got sick & worse while on the med. Then it got classified as level 4. Narcotic. & yes it's done damage 2 me & others. My nervous system in parts like my left leg & now found out my hands 2 my never get better. The reflexes I have are not good as they should b. the SERITONIN Syndrome hit hard. I had 2 stop cold turkey.. Then 2 the ER.people please read & b better informed ! I've learned that my pharmacists no more than these so called docs. Even my ins. co turned down Meds like lexepro & cymbalta while on the TRAMADOL. & yes I've seen that people R filling claims against the co. Do 2 all kinds of adverse affects.its not safe even 2 talk much 2 a doc. These days. They don't listen, info is wrong that some have put down or so many things have been left out ! Then if u can get in 2 c a doc. That comes with better recommendations it can take weeks , or because of the no listening doc. Just typing away.u find out the hard way they don't feel they can help u. Some offices that have several doctors U could c are now telling u up front That if u are on any kind of pain meds this office of doctors will not continue any prescribing for any pain meds.well so it goes.. & at least didnt waist time & money 2 find that out later. As has happened 2 us all. WAT is happening 2 the care in health care.some like me being treated badly. being told 2 loose weight looked down upon or overlooked completely. The worst was shots the ongoing treatment 4 those pain management places.sent my body into worsening pain & now on diabetic meds. Because of the shots, I even told the crazy doc. i was afraid that this would happen !! Wow did I scream as have me that shot. All he said was b quiet it isn't that bad.wow wish he could've felt it. I wish they all could feel the pain we deal with ! They'd b the first 2 get the meds 2 take away the pain!! Then all these people that just go in & keep getting these high dose pain meds. Who don't even use them... They sell them & rip people off or worse they give them something else & lie about it. Then people R dying going 2 the streets. Y isn't or hasn't something been done? This will just continue & wat a sad situation .it's just unbelievable with the numbers increasing daily for people in pain. & for those that R dying wen all they want is 2 feel no pain & get better.my best as always. I Haven't seen 2 many posts lately from so many I've met on here. Hope all is as best as can b 2 all. & U never no what these docs have or haven't said. Now if u try 2 make an appointment 2 even get in 2 c a new doc. They r telling u their office of doctors will not give out any pain meds.so u search again ... Meanwhile ur sick 4 pain. Been 2 the ER & told wat u need. & never take Tramadol again. SERITONIN syndrome . Worst is the withdrawals !! I was so hurt by the shots @ a so called pain management place . Yet that's all they want 2 do !! I wasn't dealing with bad diabetes b 4 the darn shots. Put in bed 4 weeks!! So I've even mentioned y R they an entity in this whole scam of trying 2 get better. Wish they'd send a few undercover 2 check on this system. I feel so bad so many have 2 go 2 the streets, die because of true pain. Yet so who don't use or even need Meds just keep getting them !! They sell em or rip people off & give them something else. Then u hear that. & that those have been hurt by the med. Or died !! It's a terrible world that pain patients R trying 2 live in. Wats next ? I can't believe its likes there's no hope. im so sick it's scary & I'm hurtin. Just like so many, way 2 many. My best 2 u all.& I saw a post asking about TRAMADOL & ultram. Mines been a long story as have others who've been posting I & others R greatful 2 for the help & conversation. & I found out more about meds from my pharmacist than my doc. If any one wants 2 c some of the posts that have info u can go back pages & c wats been written. It's helped me. Hope it can help others. thats wat we r trying 2 do. & I hope & pray things change!! Read stay informed as best U can & write 2 ur state board of health, food & drug & the American chronic pain association they all want & need 2 b told wat has been happing 2 people on certain meds. F100, when you call a dr office for an appointment and you're a new patient, you ask if the dr is accepting new patients. They will tell you yes, no, or they may get some basic info and call you back after they check with the dr. A new dr does not have to give you the same meds your old dr did. The majority of dr will start patients out on lesser meds. The patient has to just stick with it. If you're being prescribed more than 120 Morphine Equivelant, most drs won't accept you as a new patient. It also depends on what your medical records from your previous dr says.

Gin, thanks for your input on this. So many young people in pain go to the H because its cheaper and the dealers don't ask you why you need it, nor do they care as long as they are making money. There needs to be some changes made for us that live in pain 24/7 and not getting any good sleep on top of it all. I read a law in west virginia that they (drs) can prescribe H for cancer patients for their pain, but unless you are dying they won't give you any narcotics for pain. It's a well known fact that people that have chronic or intractable pain do not live as long as some one without pain. Howard Hughes lived to be 72yrs. old which as Dr. Tenant put it that Howard Hughes did enough of the right things in order for him to live that long. Of course he was addicted to pain meds, he still made it to 72. Thats sad that all the deaths of H overdoses could have been prevented and shame on the drug companies and any law makers that can change this if they wasn't so damn greedy. We all are going to die at some time but do we have to suffer every day till the day come for us to die? Money money money is all its about. All these new drugs that some one in a lab makes them up and they kill or harm just as many if not more than the opiates that has been around for many many years. We all need to stop voting for the people that we put in office to help us for us and by us, and maybe they would get the hint. Maybe time for the young people and some older ones to start to demonstrate like we did in the 60,s. You say you want a revolution to out law the H dealers and congressmen to stop making us the pain sufferers the scape goat for the rapid rise in prescription meds because they saw how much money was to be made with them. You get pills for one thing then get another pill for the side effects of the first pill, than another one to help with the side effects of the second pill, and it just keeps going and going. Don't understand why we must be dying to get meds so we can live a some what normal life than have to suffer through our lives in pain. hell we are all dying some sooner than others some with out pain and some with pain. I and my dr talked about my pain meds and he said that I would be addicted to some thing and let me choose what I wanted to take. We need some drs. with some balls to stand up for us that suffer and have a backbone to say screw it I'm prescribing this and tell dea to get lost. Dea has no business on how our drs treat their patients. Advocate in your state for our pain patients bill of rights which we have lost because of the big money that makes sure this doesn't happen. Well I blabbed enough for now. You all take care and don't give up the fight yet.

Yep, F100 u r right! The one young gal that l knew who lived in my town...we were going to the same doctor. She was also going through "Hades" just like I was just because the stupid DEA came in & shut him down. I found out when I went to my appt. I was taking Oxycodone 30 mgs. (1 every 6 hours) & Norcos 10 mgs. 2 every 4-6 hours. Guess what happened to her? She went to the streets ending of dying of an overdose! I went to her funeral...it was horrible! I asked another patient what the heck r we going to do? I even had one of his patients tell me he was going to go look for some H! Another one of my FB friends/my friend's (only child) daughter died from a H overdose. There were 24 deaths in a 24 hour period in a nearby town from a H overdose too & 4 nights in a row 4 people died from a H Overdose in my small town! Why don't the DEA go track down the drug dealers on the streets? All the DEA has done is make the "drug dealers" on the street richer & in more demand! Now they r going to legalize marijuana, which is a drug that is addicting & also affects one's mental stability...besides I don't smoke & not going to start! They already bought 2 large areas in my area to grow the plant! What the heck u can go get a script for marijuana but those who r in need of pain medication can't receive their narcotics! What the Hades is with that "crap?" Sorry but I have been going through pain & the effects of going "cold turkey" since October & it is NOT getting any better! Then the doctors r either NOT taking new patients or find out what u were on & won't take u as a patient! Yep, been there done that! Stupid DEA & shame on the doctors for NOT treating the patient as they should. I am an RN with my BSN & u r taught to believe the patient (especially when they do have medical problems) & do NOT allow them to be in pain. I know in the nursing home I always gave my residents the pain medication. Guess what I got told by my supervisor to "hold back" on the narcotics & give them Ibuprofen/Tylenol! Can u believe that crap? Especially when most of the "poor souls" would rather die than even be in a nursing home & r in pain! This whole "agenda" is a bunch of BS!
