Doctors Who Prescribe Pain Killers In Philadelphia (Page 4) (Top voted first)

Hi,

My current doctor has decided that it would be best to stop my monthly prescription for 30mg percocets. I have chronic back pain from skiing injuries and other sports related problems. I have never abused or taken more than was suggested. I never got "high" and was always able to work and interact with clients in a positive way. Now without the medication, the pain is becoming a distraction. Does anyone know a doctor who isn't scared to prescribe common pain killers. They are produced for a reason, but recent uptake in illegal abuse has made doctors uneasy with long term prescriptions? I live in the Philadelphia area (main line) but I am familiar with the greater Philadelphia metro area. Thank you and kind regards.

I have been told that in order to get an MRI that you need a referral or a prescription. I don't have a lot of days to miss work, but I do carry personal choice insurance. Does anyone know of a physician who will prescribe an MRI?

Mr. Help yes I have a couple doctors...I posted the first one way back check that out. If you want or need more info I have a few others that I havent been to but I know people who have. If you want to leave your # (type it out or they wont post) I will text you. We will never meet and I have never robbed anyone. I just tried to help and he ended up being in a whole other level.

I AM NOT ATTEMPTING TO BE INVOLVED IN THE THREAD BATTLE WITH RCSOUTHPHILLY AND RIPPED OFF BUT RC DID PROVIDE ME WITH INFO/INPUT FOR A FEW DIFFERENT DOCTORS IN MY AREA W/O A REQUEST FOR ANYTHING IN RETURN IE-DRUGS, MONEY, ETC. Nah not her friend at all. It's jus everyone else is sayin she helped them without wanting anything. If u got robbed was it at least worth it did she sleep with u? I jus dunno y u let her in unless she's smokin hot. Girls like that need a hotel room she can t steal that way. Jus what people are saying . Also it sounds like you both have a thing for each other the way ure fighting.

Was on 7.5 oxycodone for 4 years today my doctor decreased me to 5/325 n cut my doses in half I need a pain doctor in philadelphia or surrounding areas that prescribe medicine ! Any help world b greatly appreciated !

Hey I just wanted to say it will get alot worse, the DEA has mad life hell for people with chronic pain. I'm from north Florida and the DEA is treating doctors &.Pharmacies like drug dealers. If we all don't take a stand and call all the Congress people, your Senators and governor and the white House. It will get worse, I know because I've seen it happen in Florida. We need to get the DEA out of the doctors office and pharmacies. And it will only happen if we complain. If enough people complain something will change. Stand by and do nothing and i can promise you the DEA will make it Hell for you. Please make some phone calls!!!

When Will The Sick People Living In Chronic Pain Everyday. Like me Get Sick Of The DEA Making Life Hell For Anyone That Needs A Controlled Pain Medication Just To Help With The Pain. The DEA Is Doing Raids On Pharmacies and causing so much Fear the Pharmacist will lie to you and not Fill A Legal Prescription. So Now The DEA Is Making Healthcare Choices For Us All. My Doctor Has Had to Change My Medicine Several Times Because The DEA Has Came Out Some New Rules. It's Only Going To Get Worse. If We Don't Start call Congress. Now we cannot wait Intel it's as bad as were i live in Florida. Trust me. You can get all the phone # and information off the internet. Call them and tell them The DEA is Making Healthcare Choices. And this isn't their job, it your doctors job .Together we can make a change

To bad doctor wert just got Raided, i would tell ya guys to go there buy he legit jus got charged with 500 Felonys for givig "prescriptions to depended individuals that are dependent on a control substance" like Jesus Christ the DEA are makin the most rediculous laws n chargers for these doctors its a shame. Anoter Pain doctor in jail for doin his job.

This forum cracks me up. I understand that you are all in pain (at least u say you are). I have been in pain management for 7 years and I've had to switch doctors a couple times. But what I find funny is that everyone keeps posting their phone numbers and emails even though everyone before them have tried to do the same thing and the site blocks it. Am I the only one that sees this info has been blocked on all post. Second out of 300 or so posts I have seen two doctors names and one of then was already out of business. Try using Vitals or healthgrades and look for pain management doctors then read the reviews. Usually by reading the reviews u can tell which do goes prescribe meds and which don't. I wish all of you the best of luck but if u r counting in getting help from this site, I have a feeling ur gonna be waiting a long time. Good luck!!

i have two broken knee caps. My left knee has a plate and 5 screws and my right knee has 2 screws and a wire, I also have a tenden transplant in left arm. I would gladly appreciate your dr name. my doc stopped after mgmt stopp corporate wide. I also have a Right rotator4 cup tear. I have plenty of mri's and xrays .. I take plenty of urines so please send me his name and address.

Lol dozens of people asking. Here's my knowledge. Doctors are afraid to give out decent opiates. I don't care why you want them it isn't relavant. So many people abuse the system what's a few more in a city with high drug use. On to the point: dozens of people jumped on this thread saying me me me. My favorite line is the 40sum year old mother who tells there life story in deep deep detail likely because there high out of there mind and they think that extra line will provide good information when really they are spinning in circles. Not sure if anyone fit that description here because I didn't read all of the posts, although likely a few. No one and I mean no one will help you. Let that sink in. I've scoured the Internet for years while I'm bored looking for some piece of info to lead me to a doctor. The real heart of this incoherent ramble is that people don't give up their connects ever. Ever. Ever.

I agree! How can we start a new thread on this topic? I would even purchase a domain to create a website for such use. Plz respond if interested and I'll give my info. I live in PA, have legal and medical experience and would love to fight for the right to keep narcotic pain medication available to those who need it. For Gods sakes, needing prescription pain meds are treated like a crime! I'm looking for people to join in this petition of sorts...

Doctors prefer people to have Insurance because people who pay cash will go to 2,3,4 different doctors and get prescriptions from all of them. If they only take insurance they can't do that. Unfortunately people abuse pain meds or sell them and it ruins it for people who really need them.

Nope...and i have 2 torn tendons in my left wrist and i am left handed ...my dr. Switched my meds. To some ultracet/tramadol bulls*** that doesnt do anything more than an advil ...keep me posted if u find sumthin
