I need a doctor in the pgh area. I have had 11 back surgeries, chronic pain and anxiety. My pcp gave me a month to find one... Please help.

Good mornin, Bonnu. Just so you know, I live between Cleveland and Youngstown, Oh. Couple miles from the Oh/Pa border. I've dealt with "pain management" and ALL it's accompanying surprises for 20 years. Your regular pharmacy won't fill your scripts, right? And you've physically visited several other pharmacies in your area? I say "physically visited" because calling will get you nowhere fast. Total waste of time and energy. Your next step will be to return to your Dr's office and ask very VERY nicely for some assistance in finding a pharmacy who're willing to fill your script AND that have it in stock. Explain to the receptionist or whoever greets you what you've been through already trying to find your meds. Living in Ohio, I've unfortunately been in that situation and thankfully, the ladies at the Dr's office would either be able to tell me without batting an eyelash who'd fill it or THEY'D get on the phone and call the pharmacy or pharmacies they're familiar with til they found one with the medicine I needed. If nothing else, I could count on those women to help me find my medication. It's ok for someone from the Dr's office to call the pharmacy.....

I see someone in Milford,pa but I can't find a pharmacy to fill his scripts or they claim they don't have them. Help!

I live in york and my dr just recently got shut down. I was on 180-240 oxycodone 30mg 180 wit dilaudid 4mg 4 times daily or 240 with out any other medication. I need a doctor who will prescribed that

Thank you could you please provide your doctor's name I am new to Pittsburgh ambridge area and can't find a doctor that will give me a narcotic only ibuprofen which is totally useless

Mt Pocono, Pa, right Anna? I googled "pain management specialists near Mt Pocono, Pa" I found a site, practicalpainmanagement.com and several others. According to this one site there's three pain management offices within 25 miles.Through the Google search there should be something for you near M Pocono. Would a pharmacy near your physician's office in Jersey fill it for you? Things just seem to get more complicated through the years. I hope everything works out positively for you very soon!

Hi I just moved into the Mt Pocono area and my pharmacy here will not fill my ex unless I start seeing a doc in my area. I had a bad accident years ago and have been on these meds also for a long time anyone with the name of a doctor anywhere close by would be so appreciated
