Carmine and Nikki,

The reason I'm asking about days is because I'm not sure if pain management is only dedicated to certain days of the week. Also would like to know what I can expect during the initial visit. Sure wish there was an easier way to talk to you other than here, would make things a lot more convenient. Like I've said before, I'm located in the same area and fully intend to give this practice a shot. There aren't too many options around here for pain treatment., and I just can't do it on my own anymore. Take me under your wing. I'm trustworthy, you have nothing to worry about as far as me telling anyone. I know you may be hesitant, but Put a little faith in a stranger. You'll quickly realize how nice and trustworthy a person I really am. Is there any other ways we can possibly communicate?

PS- Nikki how have you been feeling?

Eleven surgeries is insane! My mother had 3 and died at 64. You are lucky. God bless you. I'm writing because I'm also near Pittsburg, PA. in Monroeville and experiencing the same issue.

Antman,

Thanks, that's a good idea. I will try that and yes I am the one with between 65 n 75 broken bones n that doesn't count the 3 degenerated discs and 2 discs that have too much pressure on them and push on my sciatic nerve... I'm pretty much a f***ing mess and I just turned 37 but I feel like I'm 90.

not past 4 a day....60 per 2 weeks...ive never seen it i my be wrong...but ive never seen it and at least 30 people have told me what they get not one of them got over 4 a day matter of fact half of them only got 3 a day. so your in his favorites list....believe that...when it comes to the good stuff... now the weaker ones im sure alot get four a day of those...i mean they are not that strong 2 or 3 of those wouldnt be proper pain managment u need it at least every 6 hours.. if your used to them...and built up tolerance all they do is take away the pain....im lucky cause me and my brother both are in pain managment...also my father has cancer hes in it too...but i do notice a strictness ive never seen with him before EVERYBODY at my practice is saying it....but i forgot one thing if your the one with all the broken bones if u do consult with him try 5 a day or every 4-5 hours if he still wants to just do the 60 and keep it at 4 a day this way u would be able to go 2 days early.

Carmine,

I'm not sure what you're asking me, sorry for the confusion. I dont yet go to the same practice as you, but I plan to. I live in the area and put 2 and 2 together (Again,No need to worry about me saying anything). My question was is there any day(s) that work better when going for pain management? and out of the 2 doctors is there one who's better to see? I was asking about the consultation wondering if thats how you start off being seen there and what it entails.

Lol well nikki called him the "drunk doc" and it was so funny cause shes right so thats why we refer to him like that.. i guess it cause he moves awardly or kinda stumble n when he talks it just all remimds us of a drunk person.. AND THANK YOU ANTMAN I APPRECIATE U UNDERSTANDING WHERE IM COMMIMG FROM WHEN I WROTE THAT TO YOU...... And as for SWISH ur doc said domt give out the days and i feel like that should apply here to.......so let me ask u a question we know we see diff docs but cause they visit other places the drunk doc said i was suppose to have a consultation with the other guy cause he would be willing to write more.... u think thats true

I'm not asking for your docs info. I'm too far away anyway. However. Could you guys please help me to find a doc that will write pain Med's. I have all the documentation. Well proof of surgeries and what not. I just don't know how to find a doc. My docs records are no. Existent being as my last doc was closed and my records were seized. And the doctor I had before going to that one fell and broke his hip and closed down. The really ducked up part is I just plucked a name out of the yellow pages after he broke his hip. And got a doctor that was a writer. He got busted and now I think that's over my head. If you guys could help if be forever in your debt. Thank you

nikki and carmine are you guys gonna awnswer swish 3 question.....i dont have a awnswer for her because shes up your way does she go to the same doctor we go to? At my office we were told not to give out the days the owner is working those 2 days a week at each location but if the intrested party wants to call the individual office of pain managment they will eventually get an appointment with him....if its him thats truly needed in the situation.

hey carmine ill be more discreet promise...and by the way i found a pain managment office that operates in the same manner wit the same type of set up...as ours in wg....280 dollars every 4 weeks or monthly.....it just made me realize how lucky we are and your right tho carmine we all gotta be more discreet its so easy to slip and get excited and leave tiny details unknowingly...ill sure work on that....but there is this doctor people talk about in wg thats from up your way and i just dont know why u guys call him drunk lol sumbody explain carmine is that ok? its funny to me that a doctor up your way is drunk lol if i ever visit 100 miles away im asking owner if one time i can visit the drunk doctor for my 2 week visit ill do it too.

Nikki / Carmine

Is the good doc only there certain days throughout the week? Do they start you off with an appointment or is that after you're in the program? I'm getting more testing done next week, this time on my neck as my EMG showed some nerve damage there. I'm just tired of being in pain every day without the correct meds to help me get through it. Any info would be awesome. And no need to worry about me, lips are sealed. I'd truly appreciate the help. Thanks!

Well maybe it's me being paranoid....i'll report back next friday....we have no drunk doc......in willow grove....the owner is iranian....his last name originates from iran....still love my doctor who is the owner....but that worried me, that's all he's never said that to me in 3 years and hes discharged several people (about 6) from the willowgrove office....found out the things were removed because u get fined for having too much advertising up...but the chain pharmacies is where i have to go now as rite aid cvs and walgreens all turn down his scripts....he needs to stop taking patients because the pharmacies that don't take scripts excuses aren't the amount of tablets.... it's the milligrams prescribed, matching the conditions.....and how many patients get served per day....he's my doctor and i hope he never gets shut down...but the drunk doc that's in pitson pa....scranton pa... I believe i'm 100 miles away.

I agree Carmine, nothing seemed different to me. I've never used a chain pharmacy and never will. I'm happy with the small family pharmacy i go too. And neither doc never said anything about my "levels", all check for us to make sure that you have the medicine in it that you are prescribed and your system. Never once has he said anything about my levels being too high or too low. No signs are being removed and everything is still the same at the practice we go to antman.....

So when was the last time u went... cause i just went this friday n everything seemed normal..... he didn't say anything about my levels, he actually did my appointment with him in like 3 mins..... but u r right, some of the people that come in are super f***ed up and some nodding out, n they still got served, i dont know if they got their meds, but no one got turned away..... I have a question for u - Do u see "drunk doc" or then indian doc? I dont see why he would get shut down as he wont prescribe more than 4 a day of anything and only get pain meds in a long lasting form, whether it's morphine or oxycontin er.....

antman here.......listen to all the people that see my doctor; are u noticing a pattern?....first it was riteaid, now its walgreens. Now it's certain cvs stores.....when u loose the chain stores in my opinion its the beginning of the end. i sure hope im wrong...but at my last appointment he tried to dismiss my oxycodone levels. first he said your levels have been low the last 3 times. then he said there's nothing in your system, what!! I always take my oxycodone...to me he's trying to discharge people who aren't going to fight back..and ive been with him 3 years...beware that's all im saying, the bond i had with him didnt matter. be prepared to stick up for yourself should he try and pull something, but maybe its all in my head. maybe i was low...but this next time i urinate next friday....im gonna take my own U/A from walgreens with me and urinate for them, then myself and in the appointment im gonna let him know ive got my own U/A to prove i have it in my system. HE'S SCARING ME, he's removed things from the building, signs, stickers....check the offices that u go to, has he removed anything recently?

I just saw the drunk doc being talked about here but I'm in the town in which I believe you go. I sent you some messages earlier maybe a month back now, how I was looking to start but was curious what days would be best to go as I've seen you say some are better than others. Nobody told/gave me any info, I kind of just put some pieces together. But as I said in previous posts, I have no intention on sharing any type of info with anyone. Ive been dealing with pain problems for so long that I'm only focused on helping myself really.
