Antman ask carmine. They dispense subs all the time over the counter at our practice. I would not make that up. They print out a label and stick it on the bottle. I did research on this and it actually is legal to dispense buprenorphine in offices because when it came out years ago very few pharmacies had it. However, the practices that do dispense it have to follow strict guidelines. The office charges $60 for a script for 2 per day/2 weeks script, I would never make that up. I would put a pic up of it if I could lol, so I am not sure what is going on down there but I now heard from another patient they did the same thing to her. And she has never taken a sub in her life. Would never make something like this, I'm upset and so distraught!

I've been going there since December so almost 9 months, and I don't know how much more. Antman, I feel like I'm fighting a war I can't win. The owner doesn't care. Do you know much they are making off of selling those things there?! And yes indeed, a female employee at the desk has been snobby to me, funny you should say that - he told me that subs were in my system TWICE. Not once but twice. I said "Really, bc no one said anything to me about it ever", and he said "we don't have to tell you". Um excuse me, what?!

Nikki!!!!!! This upsets me!!! We're all patients here. What u said is hard to believe. I dont believe the owner would allow that to happen as he has never allowed any tablets other than non narcotic over the counter....They are either trying to get rid of people or somebody messed with ur u/a. Tell us has any female employee acted snobby at u or towards u? If so, maybe they did it..... Im scared for you and myself and carmine. Now u gotta meet one on one with the owner and pour your heart out. Tell him u need your oxycodone. U have never taken subs in your life, nor sold any meds. Why would u sell them if u take them daily... Tell the owner your open to a lie detector; a camera installed in your house with a live-feed to the doctor's laptop; your open to coming into the office 4 times a day and take it in front of them. Let them log it and offer to pay extra for the bloodwork and u/a's.......They are trying to get rid of you. How long have u been there? Especially if you're newer, they are disposing of the people who have been there 9 months or less at the quickest rate.....I thought the owner was my buddy, but now I dont know anymore. I feel like he tried to get rid of me at my last visit. Im about to see the np on thursdays instead of him on fridays..It was too awkward the way he has never said a word about my levels since 2015 when I first started and became a patient at the wg practice. As I sit here and write this my dad is withering away right in front of me. He has bone cancer and prostate cancer and he's dying. The doctor said he has about a year, maybe a year and a quarter. He could have anything he wants, I mean anything, but he refuses opiates and opioids. The pain he has is out of control....Nikki u gotta fight. It's bull, ok.

Drunk doc did not discharge me. He just said he can switch me to subutex and they sell it over the counter at the urgent care. How is that even legal? I told him I was coming back to see the owner (iranian doc) and he said he already talked with him to determine the best plan of action for me. Basically saying it was a waste of time. Also, how am I supposed to get the police in the room with me? I don't see that happening but I guess I can try. I yelled and cried in the room and he told me that it was a law that once suboxone came up in my system twice that they were legally not allowed to prescribe me anymore oxycodone, and neither of them was gonna risk losing their liscense for me. I just don't know what to do!

Antman, would be great if we could all be treated together. To dream to dream. From what's being said it does sound like they are trying to push people out or towards suboxone treatment. It really is a shame that there is such a stigma on the medication used to treat people in pain. I understand there is a problem with addiction and all that, but there are people who actually NEED this type of medication to live a normal life, until (or if) there is a more permanent fix to the problems. It gets me fired up that people make tons of money selling these meds that they get prescribed to them, and people like us can't even get help from a doctor. I've had to self-medicate for a few years now, and I can't take it. Between the money and just the hassle, I hate doing it. But when your pain is at a level 9-10, you'll do anything to get it down to even a 5-6. The whole thing is very frustrating. I wish I just had an easy answer as to finding a doctor who will just help me with what I need. Sucks.

Antman here again......If u get an appointment with the owner let him know u want the police called with him in the room. Whoever said u were selling your meds can say it with the police in the room because somebody is lying as I take my meds and not sell them....Don't u notice they hit u with 2 separate stories one selling your meds....Then 2 something in your system....That's 2 separate made up stories....Mine was last 3 visits your levels were lower and lower....That means this is my third visit so its low then? Naw he says nutin in your system with the accent....That's 2 separate stories....I asked him are u serious...Then asked him again are u truly serious??? It's happening folks the weak won't survive....All the money I've given him over the years every appointment 80 bucks brought my whole family to him for urgent care I hope he don't do all of us dirty....This is messed up!!! U see the boss!! And u spill your heart!!! Don't let them do that to you they are lying!!! Also, they are getting ready to change the name of the practice.... Cant give u guys that info either you'll figure it out .......Love all of you guys my pain warriors!!!!! Let us all be in the new practice together....

Hey didn't I tell u guys something was very strange? Now do u believe me? Drunk doc isn't allowed to sell u anything over the counter especially narcotics...He's not allowed to discharge you, only the owner is, that's what I heard...I dont believe u had anything in your system. They are telling lies and falsifying records to kick people out......If u look like u can't fight back or wont curse them out or get physically violent with them they'll say whatever they want to u to get rid of you...I told u guys on posts before what was said to me....It's very serious, that's why I keep a backup....Now I know people are in trouble because the owner tried that with me....I played it off by telling him I've been your patient 3 years...Guess they're switching u/a's around... Well im not having it. U have cameras right dr..... Well im gonna start coming into the office 4 times a day and taking it right in front of the receptionists and medical assistants...As well as having my own opiate cup....He didn't wanna hear that changed the subject wrote me my meds...Maybe I need to see the pa.....He's trying to get rid of people. I told yall it wasn't me...He's instructing other doctors to do the same....Especially up there yall closer to pittsburg and trump hired sessions for his approach to all drugs and jeff sessions wants to crack down on doctors in western pa., and he has appointed special prosecutors for western pa....Only...Western pa....Look it up... There was no other prosecutors appointed for any other part of pa.....Just western pa...Scranton is how many miles from western pa? But your case is exactly what I warned in my earlier post...I know im taking my meds. He's gonna try to get me. Next time im in, im gonna start hopping around with the doctors...See a new one each time....Same practice im very very scared now.

I asked for a retest that exact day and the doc told me no, that they were sending the U/A to a reputable company. I understand that but like I said someone's test must have gotten mixed up with mine, they call more than one person back at a time to give their U/A and it's very easy in this office for a panel to get mixed up. And no, I have never failed or came up hot for anything at all in my U/A, ever. I just know what's going on and it's sickening, they are selling subs out of the office for cash and why would they prescribe someone opiates when they can switch them to subs and make additional money on them. Not counting the cost of the appt but now I need to buy the medication. It sucks, bad. And swish you need to have all documentation sent to them before you go, they will turn you away if you just walk in I've seen them do it many times, you need your past records, mri's, X-rays, etc...and your past 6 months of prescription history from your pharmacy. Good luck, as I sure as hell didn't have much. I'm so upset about this. It's been a day now and I'm still in tears.

Nikki,

I'm so srry to hear that... I've always wondered what they were selling at the counter. Do u have anything prior in ur record where u had something u werent suppose to have?.......And as for if u do decide to go on the subs, I do belive it is harder to find a pm doctor.... I feel so bad for you.

Denwrestler. Sorry honey but that's not cool of you to give her some advice that she already knows and then ask her to help you out by revealing her dr. That's just not cool.

Oh, and also, they do make a lot of money on subs. Taking that into consideration with the fact that the government doesn't take your license away for prescribing them makes an all too compelling case not to. P.s.s. Lol. if on your appointment date to get refills for your meds, they can't just say that you're done, get out. They have to wean you off. Which essentially means getting your meds one more time. They just change how you're supposed to take them. Remember it's illegal for them to just stop your meds. So if they insist on kicking you out, make sure that they wean you off. They have to. They may try to get away with it. But if you say something, I'm sure you'll get your last one. Damn. There was something else I wanted to say but forgot. As soon as I post this I know I'm going to remember it. Lmao. Lisa, you're right. We do need to stick together. It's bulls*** that people are out there still who don't need them, who are getting them to either sell them or feel high. And those of us who actually need the medication can't get it. They make it virtually impossible. I don't understand how this is possible.... at all. It's crazy. Anyway. Sorry about that, I needed to vent a little.

Hi Niki. I'm steve. How long ago did you test+ for subs?... I'd go in and demand a retest. that is if you haven't taken any. It takes 5-10 days to exit your system depending on the dosage and how often you took them. As far as subs and pain goes. It does help with pain but not quite as good. I prefer pain meds. I too was told about getting pain meds after being in the sub program. I had no problem getting them again. However, I self medicated for 2-3 yrs before trying. As far as no one going to your pain clinic that knows about your so called selling them. That doesn't matter. If someone got busted by the pd, they could've snitched and the pd coulda went to your doctor to see how many you get and so on. Also, the doc may be thinking that you're selling most of your meds, getting a couple subs to get you thru, then taking some of your script to have them in your system. But if I were you, I'd def make that apt with the owner. I'd tell him what you said on here. That you've never taken subs before and you want another test right now. And when you talk to him. Be sure to mention that you have talked to people/person; who had taken subs before (not presently, you don't want him to think that you have access to them), and that they said that they did help. But not as well as the pain meds. Not to mention the fact that subs are used to get people off of opiates and they're not meant to be taken long term. Hopefully I have helped you out. If you can possibly help me, that'd be awesome. I have the proper documentation. Well most of it. It's a long story. I'd have no problem telling you if you wanna hear though. But I don't have doctors records. The only records I have are opp reports, mri's and meds I have been prescribed before. I need to find a doctor in the pittsburgh area. I don't want to go to dif doctors and make it look like I'm doctor shopping. I just moved back from Florida about a year ago and I can't self medicate anymore.

Nikki... that is so horrible sweetheart, I am so sorry this is happening to you. Of course it's bullcrap that several people called your office and told them you were selling your meds. Like people just know where you go for pain management, I mean come on that is utterly ridiculous. Obviously something is going on with that office and they are trying to get rid of people. You are so better off trying to find another doctor's office sweetheart. Just wanted to tell you I'm so sorry for what you're going through and I pray you can find another doctor that will help you. So many of us are getting so screwed over and we need to stick together. My doctor is in Philadelphia - if I can help and give you his name please let me know. He is very strict though I will tell you and goes by the letter of the law and you will not get a lot of medicine from him, but until you can find someone that will give you what you need maybe you can go to him. Please let me know if I can help.

Wow, that's absolutely awful. To me it almost seems like what you said, that they'd rather people go on the subs for some reason. Was that the only time you ever had something abnormal come up during a drug panel? Was this today? I was gonna say maybe you can find a test to purchase, but I know not all of them contain the bupe panel, and prove it in front of him. That really puts you in a tough place, I'm sorry to hear this. I imagine if you did go on subs, it'd be quite hard to get pain meds again down the line. I'll be honest I've tried them for pain before. There can be some relief but idk how it would compare to the meds you were on. I also never really took more than a quarter or half at a time, never a whole pill, so not sure of that reaction. I wonder if I'd be better off just going as a walk-in and saying I have pain in these areas, I'm just looking for a second opinion and someone to review my tests. Idk. I hate living like this, it sucks. Nikki, are you from the same area as where your dr is? I'm located there as well.

SEE POST BELOW....

I obviously don't want to be in withdrawal so I thought about giving the subs a try but the lady at the desk said once she enters that into the system it's going to be very hard for me to find a new pain mgmt dr. I do not want or need this. I am just so distraught and upset about this whole thing. If I actually messed up and took something I wasn't supposed to I can understand this happening but I've never taken a sub in my life. And when I told the dr someone's test must have gotten mixed up with mine he basically rolled his eyes and gave me the "that's what everyone says look"....Should I go back and try talking to the owner despite what others have said about me not really getting anywhere? And what happens if I try the subs and it doesn't take away my pain? Then I am screwed? Oh and Swish3, someone called about being a new pain mgmt patient when I was there and I overheard them telling the person they weren't taking any new pain patients. If you wanna deal with this kind of f***ery, give it a try, idk, I thought they were a pretty good practice up till this!

Well Carmine and Antman, the dreaded happened yesterday. I went in for my appt and the drunk doc came into the room, he didnt make any eye contact so I already knew where this was going, he told me that they got multiple calls about me selling my meds and asked me if I was!? I told him I was pretty insulted that they would even insinuate that, I said I've always had oxycodone in my system so why would I sell it just to rebuy it, that makes no sense? He looked at my paperwork and mumbled oh yeah yeah...then he told me that bupe (suboxone) came up in my system twice since in the past 2 months! I told him I never touched that stuff, he said well it's in your system, where are you getting it from? I said my drug panel must have gotten mixed up with someone else's because I NEVER and i repeat NEVER touched that stuff, so he told me he could no longer give me any of my oxycodone or pain meds, but he COULD, however, prescribe me Subutex (which i can buy at the office?). I started crying and he told me I am welcome to come back and see the owner but it won't do me any good because neither of them are going to risk their liscense perscribing me oxy anymore and then told me he had an office full of patients to basically get out. In conclusion I told him that I'm not a drug addict, I am there for pain and he said "don't tell me Subutex doesn't work for pain, I know it does!" I'm extreamly upset and I feel there is something way bigger going on here. Could it be that they are trying to push their pain mgmt patients onto subs because they found some kind of lupehool to sell them in the office and are making buku bucks! I don't believe anyone called about me selling meds because no one even knows what I practice I go to!? HELP!

Hi Cindy. I'm steve. I'm in the burgh area as well. Perhaps we can help each other out. It's so hard to have docs take me seriously. I'm 40 but I look a lot younger. Also I'm not sure but I think that they can somehow see that I had a doctor that was a writer. I can't believe how bad my luck has been with this. I had no problems getting them until Herndon, my last doctor got busted. I had all my records from previous doctors. Like the one before him. He fell and broke his hip and closed his practice. So I can't get any of my doctors records anymore. So between not having doctor visit records and having a doctor that went to jail. I'm having a hard time finding a doctor that takes me seriously with just my mri's and op reports in handy. Ima put my number in here so we can talk outside of here. It won't be all at once but hidden throughout messages I send. Four One it will be a sure way Two get it to you. I'm sure you'll be able to put it together. I'll send another one later after you reply
