I have been taking Triamterene and I ran out, but I can not afford to go to the doctor just yet, my mother takes Lisinopril and she told me that I could take a few till I can get to the doctor but I was afarid that they might not be made up of the same thing and I am afraid to take it because of the risks of any side effects from taking a different medication then the one priscribed to me, but my ankles are swelling pretty bad and see spots. What are the effects of being i the sun if you ar taking HCTZ drug for high blood pressure ## This medication can make you more sensitive to the suns rays and heat, meaning more intense skin damage, feeling much more overheated and etc. It is best to use sunscreen and do not remain in strong sunlight any longer than you have to while using this medication. ## I was in sun for less than an hour before I started feeling light headed.
