Updated in AldactoneI cannot find a coupon for Chlorthalid 23mg tab. This is the name as spelled on my prescription bottle. I'm paying Walmart $49.95 for 90 tablets, is there a coupon for this medication. I need an answer so will leave email address ## Hello, Nancy! How are you? No, I'm sorry, but since this a generic medication, there are no coupons or assistance programs available. However, there are other diuretics available that are much cheaper, so it might be best to ask your doctor about prescribing an alternative. Spironolactone and Hydrochlorothiazide are both usually cheaper and treat the same conditions. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and dehydration. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am 47 years old and have been taking blood pressure medication for five years - i think it is congenital. Was taking indapamide combined with bilocor and had pretty awful 'flutters' which frighted me. Doc changed meds to bilocor and Diolo - body did not like Diolo whatsoever and so changed it after 6 days. Now taking Bilocor and Perin dopril 2. One of the side effects i notice with the Diolo was rapid weight gain around the waist and a bloated face. The face side is now reducing but not gone completely back to normal and the weight around the waist is still huge!! I have only been on Perindopril now for 3 days and am asking, do you think this weight gain will subside in time? Definitely not normal. Am feeling much better on the perindopril compared to the diolo, although am st...
Am allergic to Blue #2 which is found in Mylan's Triamterene HCTZ. How do I find a pharmacy that sells Actavis' (formerly Watson Pharma) version of this medication which does not contain Blue#2? ## Hello, Tom! How are you? If you inform your pharmacy of the issue, they should be able to order the other one in for you. Side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, dehydration and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks so much. That's exactly what I'll do. Tried already at my pharmacy(cvs) and they would not order anything other than Mylan. Same story at Publix. I'll find someone this week I'm sure. Thanks again.

My friend from the Philipines has had a unrinary tract infection and her body was very swollen. Now the doctor has told her to take spironolactone butizide aldazide, is that right and how long will she have to take it? Her English is not very good, so I am not sure I have understood her explanation completely. ## From my records I was not able to locate spironolactone butoxide altazine, I believe it is manufactured out of the united states. I did find Spironolactone which is used primarily to treat heart failure, ascites in patients with liver disease, low-renin hypertension, hypokalemia, and Conn's syndrome as well as high blood pressure. I did not find anything saying it helps urinary tract infections, however I cannot say that it dosen't. I would speak with your friend and as...

my mother is eighty four and her ankles swell she is on lasix and plenish k but she gets up about every half an hour at night to go to toilet but sometimes nothing comes out and she says that when she gets back to bed that her bladder is full. she has got an endicrone seal or something. Can she take urispas with the lasix and plenish k and how much fluid should she drink a day? ## Hello, Barbara! How is your mother doing? Rather than adding another medication on your own, your mother needs to discuss this with her doctor. Retaining fluid like that can be very dangerous and could lead to congestive heart failure, which may put her life at risk. At her age, this just isn't something worth trying to treat yourself. What dose does she take of the Lasix?

I have had idiopathic peripheral neuropathy bilaterally for years. About two years ago, for other reasons, my physician suggested that I take 25 mg of Hydrochlorot daily. My PN continues to get worse, and I recently discovered that there may be a link between taking Hydrochlorot and its possible cause or effect of Peripheral Neuropathy. Any comments would be appreciated. ## Hello, Bob! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you're having. Did you mean Hydrochlorothiazide? This is a diuretic that removes water from the body, so it could aggravate such conditions, if it's keeping you dehydrated. How much liquid do you take in each day, not including anything caffeinated or alcoholic? Do you take any other medications?
I am on prexum plus 4mg, want to know can it effect your memory, since using it I found problems in this area, I am using it for the last 21/2 months. Please can you let me know. Regards ## Hello, Paulina! How are you? This medication contains the active ingredients Indapamide and Perindopril and yes, it can sometimes cause those types of issues in some people that take it. However, only your doctor can determine if it is the medication causing the problem. You also need to be careful not to stop taking this, without your doctor's approval, as doing so creates the risk of rebound effects that could be very dangerous. Is there anything else I can help with?
