Hi, I am Diabetic with Blood Sugar (Fasting) - 105mgs/dl & Blood Sugar (Post Food) - 169mgs/dl. My HDL is 58mgs/dl & LDL is 136mgs/dl. The Triglycerides is 195 mgs/dl. I am also having High Blood Pressure of 170/100. I had been suggested for GLIMMY 4 for Diabetes; REPACE 50 for High BP and AZTOR 20 for Cholesterol. I have been taking these 3 tablets for almost 4 months and my Body weight slowly increased by 10 KG over these 4 months. in my recent consultation with another MD was revealed that consuming GLIMMY 4 alone would sure result in increase of body weight and affect the secretion in the pancreas. Started in his heal and now in his ankle. He has not had a gout attack this painful in many years. Can there be any chance that this medication could have initiated this? ## Then would the lactic acidosis trigger the gout?

My usual French glucophage 850 is a round white tab with no marks at all this works well for me. I have been using gluconorm-G1 (one before breakfast and 1 before dinner) for last 3 years, but my fasting glucose level has gone out of control since last 2 weeks. (it is around 186 to 215). I found these pills, It is small white, round, says APO 80 on one side, and has 4 cross lines on the other side. Any ideas what they are? ## I can't be 100% certain on this, because I can't find an image to confirm the information, but from what I'm finding this is a Canadian tablet that contains 80mgs of Gliclazide, which is used to treat diabetes. I am 22 years old and female. I have gained 6 kg of weight from last year. Presently i am 67kg and my doctor suggests i am overweight. I was taking stool sample for hemacult test and saw the Januvia tablet in my feces 12 hours after taking the tablet. Why was the tablet intact at this time i.e 12 hrs after dose? Why wasn't it absorbed?
