if a diabetic person taking glycomet gp2 forte before dinner observe metformin part come out with stool in the morning what conclusion may be drwan about absorption of the medicine in the body.pl guide. ## The Metformin is actually slowly released into your body, to give better blood sugar control for a longer period of time. Basically what you saw in your stool was just the outer shell of the pill, but the medication was still released into your body, just as it should be. The entire tablet isn't meant to be dissolved and broken down, so seeing it in your stool is perfectly normal. Is there anything else I can help with?
My wife (Diabetic) with history of bladder infections, went to doctor with ache/pains and strong difficulty swallowing, was diagnosed with ear and throat (swollen) infection. Prescription was AMOX -CLAV, 1-tablet every 12-hr. She has been on subject pill for 24-hr's w/o any discernible change, complaining of strong body ache/pains and difficulty swallowing. How long should I rely on pill, if no change, before returning to doctor... or going to hospital? ## Hi! Sorry she's so miserable! The general rule for antibiotics is that there should be no worsening after they've been taken for a full 24 hours and improvement should start within 72 hours (3 days), so if you see worsening or there's no improvement after that time frame, she'll need more medical attention. This is...

What is it? ## I actually came across a half white and half pink oblong shaped pill imprinted "E648" that is identified as Diphenhydramine hydrochloride 25 mg. National Drug Code (NDC): 00185-0648 I'd probably suggest taking it over to your local pharmacy to have them check it out if this doesn't sound like it fits the bill. Does anyone else recognize this tablet without the pink color?
