What is this pill? White, scored, capsule shaped that says GMP-12 ## Hi Kerry, Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a pill that matches your description exactly. The closest match I've found is Metformin (1000 mg); which is an oral anti-diabetic drug in the Biguanide class. It is the first-line drug of choice for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, in particular, in overweight and obese people and those with normal kidney function. It is a white oval pill with the imprint GP 128 (divided by a score line) Manufacturer: Sandoz Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00781-5052 Has anyone seen a pill like the one Kerry has described? If so, please post back with any information you can provide. Thanks!

I will say diabetes mellitis. Is anyone in your immediate family have diabetes taking insulin or pills? ## Hi Rose, There are actually a number of different potential causes for itchy feet, including but not limited to: Athlete's foot; Eczematous dermatitis; Contact dermatitis due to an allergic reaction; Scabies; Side effects of certain medications; etc... Regardless, if one doesn't know the cause of their condition, it would probably be wise to get a proper diagnoses from your doctor before jumping to immediate conclusions, since there are so many possibilities. Now my blood Fasting is 231 and P.P. is 399, HbA1C is 11.4%.My BP pulse is 126/80. Previously i consult with a doctor, who suggest me Huminsulin 30/70(before breakfast and dinner). For my Diabetes Melitus which was detected 4 years ago when I was 67 years old I have, under doctor's supervision, been through a whole range of oral diabetis medicines which have basically been Metformon 500 mg tablets with various additives. These have not been of much help. My present figures are 188 (fasting) and 253 ( 2 hours after eating). I have recently been diaggnosed with type 1 diabetes,after being ill for such a long time. I have only just heard about byetta it has never been mentioned before.I struggle constantly with weight even tho I exercise and eat properly I need to lose at least anoth 10kg. Why can,t I have access to this drug? ## Byetta is actually used to treat type II diabetes and it isn't intended to help with weight loss, it's just been noted that it has occurred in some people that have used it. Being diabetic, I am taking pioz 15 & glizide M daily after meals but sugar level remains 160. Pl. suggest may I continue or consult our doctor. Pl. also inform whether 160 is normal blood sugar level after meals. ## It is normal for there to be some elevation after meals, but there are also some other relevant things that should be taken under consideration. The first is, you said you are taking them after you meal, this means that if you are checking your blood sugar level right after you finish eating, the medication hasn't even had a chance to start working, yet. My mother has been suffering from type two diabetes for the last 11 years. She has been prescribed many drugs during this period. Two month ago she was taking Tipride one but the there was a sudden rise in her PP blood sugar level and the doctor has prescribed her Triglynase 2 once in a day after breakfast bus her blood is normal yet.
