Glycomet 1gm Side Effect

I am taking glycomet 1gm once daily and i am experencing small white ulcers in mouth and acidity.is it related to the medicine or some thing else.

Glycomet contains the active ingredient Metformin, which is an oral antidiabetic medication that's used to help lower blood sugar.

It can cause some acidity as a side effect, but from what I've found, it doesn't usually cause canker sores.
