Dbx-13 Scam (Page 6)
UpdatedIn January 2013 - I recently purchased a subscription to the Health Sciences Institute (HSI) newsletter and got the book "Miracles from the Vault." I scoured the pages to find DBX-13 which they advertised as the diabetes miracle cure, and couldn't find it anywhere. I called HSI, and after three attempts and by threatening to take them to court for false advertising, a response finally came by email. DBX-13 is called X-Cravings. But get this... it is no longer being manufactured. X-Cravings appears to be a formula to help you stop craving food... a diet product... and I guess they apparently felt this would help you lose weight which would help your diabetes. I placed a call to the manufacturer of X-Cravings, Nutricology. Tel: (800)545-9960 who claims they don't know that X-Cravings was called DBX-13 by HSI, and they said they discontinued X-Cravings last year (2013). They also don't have a replacement product for it either. I hate when companies like HSI scam you by offering you hope that doesn't exist, which is why I am posting this information.
I have been using syntra 5 for blood sugar control for about a month. It was recommended by HSI. It has not dropped my numbers at all, not a single point. Okra does drop my points but I found that on another diabetes site. They can't sell Okra.
Let me get this right, because it is a blog it requires no consideration as to spelling and grammar, yet its purpose is to articulate or answer an issue! Interesting approach to say the least.
This is supposed to be a site to help diabetics. For those of you who have nothing better to do than waste other peoples' time telling people how 'ignorant' they are, please just shut up!!

Do you mean to say defense instead of defence?
Try CONTRAVE it is a compound that removes cravings for food or tobacco.
This is OUTRAGEOUS!!!! And she says on her video "how much" they care about people who are ill. There is a deep space in hell reserved for her company.
I have been receiving the HSI newsletter for years. I always find some nugget of information that I can use. Since I am over 60, I get the subscription for 1/2 price.
can you advise brand name and mg strength and dosage.
It is contraindicated for currently taking metformin?
I AM A DIABETIC 2,i have been reading up on some of the comments, and for six weeks now i have just stopped taking Metformin 500mg 4 tablets,i have started doing 2 mile a day walking, plus normal things around the house DIY ,that is all i am doing i will be going back to my diabetic nurse in two weeks time,to see what she has to say,i have always told my doctor i do not want to be on tablets, but i have decided to do this my way,i know about the warnings of amputations, and blindness, etc, but needed to try this my way,i was fed up with all the side effects, and seven tablets a day, which used to be twelve, now no side effects,so if things go my way i will try one lot of tablets at a time to find out which are causing the side effects
Well, I do have a friend who started working with Medifast . . . she lost over a hundred pounds and her doctor removed her subcutaneous insulin pump. Infact she is off insulin completely. I myself lost a total of 70 lbs and went off BP meds. And it is a logical and natural process of limiting intake and getting the right nutrition. My first week I lost 10 lbs, and 5 lbs every week after . . . the program is each day you need to ahve five 100 calorie snacks every three hours and then one "Lean and green meal . . . 5 oz. of protein (meat or fish) and a big salad - and vegetables
I practice nutritional medicine at First Choice Nutrition & Wellness.
Type 1 will never get off insulin; they simply do not make any. However, eating clean with a correct exercise, sleep and hydration program help anyone's health immensely. There is no magic pill...
I am a diabetic for 25 years and has been on almost all diabetic medications; i.e. Metformin (2000mg), Glipizide, Actos, Januvia, Jardiance, Lantus Injection, and other tablets over the years which I can't recall, but the latest I was taking were Metformin (2000mg/day), Glipizide, Januvia, and Jardiance, which I stopped taking and replaced them with Phase 2 (carbo blocker) and cinnamon capsules. My blood sugar before was uncontrollable, which led to my having the stroke in 2008. Last month I stumbled on an internet infomercial just like the one some of you are talking in this chat-line and mentioning about the Phase 2 and Cinnamon, which made me start my new regimen without consulting my doctor. At this point my blood sugar is very much under control, a happening I have never seen in my 25 years of suffering this diabetes. I thank the Good Lord for this relief and I am a happy camper.
Which brand name of cinnamon capsules did you take and where was it purchased? Thank you.
Do Better Research.
Jenny's personal road to natural health began like many others -- with one life-changing discovery.
But unlike most of those others, Jenny's awakening wasn't because of an illness.
No, it was the result of an accidental peek behind the curtain of mainstream health "care."
Shortly after college, Jenny worked as a communications officer for a company that compiled and sold health care data. Hospitals used this data to measure how they performed compared to their peer hospitals.
But it wasn't long before she uncovered a shocking fact: The hospitals weren't comparing how many people they cured or how many lives they saved. No, they used the data to make sure they got patients out of the hospital quickly enough -- without killing them.
That's when she realized the entire medical system was flawed. It judged success only on numbers -- on dollars and cents -- not on diseases cured or lives made better. And she knew there had to be another way.
Convinced she had to do something, but aware that one wide-eyed girl would never take on the medical establishment and win, Jenny set her sights on getting help to the people that needed it most.
And that led her to the Health Sciences Institute, where she's served as the Director for the past 11 years.
Through HSI, Jenny and her team empower people to take control of their own health, rather than leave it to people who confuse medicine and accounting. Every day, they uncover cures -- real cures -- that have saved the lives of their members fighting cancer, diabetes, heart disease and more. In addition, through the HSI e-Alert, Jenny shares urgent health updates, warnings and scandals with more than 500,000 people every day, because we are never more powerful than when we are informed.
After growing up in New Jersey, Jenny trekked down the turnpike to get her journalism degree from the University of Maryland College Park, and has called Maryland "home" ever since. Today, she lives in Baltimore, just a few miles from HSI headquarters and her other home-away-from-home, Ravens Stadium.
Do you realize that Phase 2 is just a very calorie restrictive diet? You could lose weight and lower your blood sugar on ANY diet that was that low on calorie count.
K B Kuah - please provide me more details about exactly what you did during the three months to successfully eliminate taking Metformin.
Thanks, Morro
Well steviegirl, you must be more educated than the rest of us. Are U a teacher or something? Go back to bed.
do you have an update on your results? Is it still available and how much does it cost as well as how do you get it? My diabetes went from well in control to far out of control and very dangerous - the docs don't seem to know anything about what to do and tell me it can't be cured? I believe if I quit doing whatever caused it I can reverse it and cure it but they disagree with me - I believe God doesn't want me to have this and will heal me if I do what He wants me to do, but I just don't know what that is yet.
Yes, I too read and heard a HSI advertisement which was disguised as a negative Hillary piece saying she was supported by the evil Big Pharma. Then they dovetailed into their Vault - medical secrets book. I sensed it was a farce and jumped out of the promo video before it was up. Anytime a product is given alpha and numeric codes beware! DBX13 a scam.
Use punctuation. Every language in the world uses punctuation. Without it, it is difficult to read and comprehend.
