Tonight will be my first night on a 0.1MG dose/nightly. I am nervous because I have read about so many diffrent outcomes with this Med. but never anygood news about sleep! Small yellow round pill w s on top and264 on bottom on one side of pill ## Okay, did you mean to use the w to stand for the word with, so the tablet has the marking of S over 264? I just want to make sure I'm understanding correctly. My kids aunt is always giving my 3 little girls purses and I found this pill in my little girls floor. I'm jst assuming that it may hv fell out of a purse that she may hv given them but I'm not real sure. So I jst want to find out what it is. im on carvadelol. amalodipine. simvistatin. lisinipril with hctz. and clonidine .3 ... after taking everyday for 2 yrs...will it actually hurt my body? im on these for blood pressure and cholesterol. everyone on my dads side is dead in their forties from heart attack. im trying to live long. i have a awesome 7 yr old girl. these meds are to help me i know this but do they do damage at the same time to my body? thnx jvp kcmo ## Yes, there are always risks associated with using any drug, even legally prescribed ones, especially for long-term usage. Wondering about the side effects on children for use of clonidine treating ADHD? ## To my understanding, Clonidine's side effects aren't necessarily age dependent; but there aren't any studies proving otherwise either... Clonidine HCL 0.1 MG .I have been taking this medication for 30 days for high blood pressure and Insomnia. During this period I have developed very swollen feet and ankles. Does anyone have experience in using .1 Clonidine on an as needed basis for someone who has good blood pressure usually but spikes up once or twice a month? If so, has it been successful? ## Well, the issue here is your not knowing when it is going to spike, nor how high it may spike, which of course creates the risk of heart attack, or stroke. If you have hypertension, you need to take a medication all the time, in order to get in under control. If you don't have hypertension and it is only raising occasionally, then that is perfectly normal. Our blood pressure will fluctuate throughout the day, depending on various activities. Been on 20mg/day of Enalapril. Then resently given a 0.2mg Clonidine patch. My blood pressure went "way" down. Should Dr. have checked first before giving me the Clonidine patch? Have stopped Enalapril while on "withdrawls" (pain med). ## What are you asking about him checking? Your blood pressure? Did the doctor tell you to stop the Enalapril? Because suddenly stopping it could cause a rebound effect, which might result in severely elevated blood pressure. ## Thanks for the reply. However, you didn't read my question fully. No, I'm not asking to have my BP checked! Should he be giving me Clonidine when I'm using Enalapril?? What effect will BOTH have?

what are the manufacuer marking ## Clonidine is a generic medication, which means that it is manufactured by several different companies, it is also available in several different dosages, so the markings will vary accordingly. There are far too many on the market for me to list them all here for you, but just to give you a few examples: Round, white, MYLAN over 186 is a 0.2mg tablet Round, orange, R over 127 is a 0.1mg tablet Round, tan, 2541 on the front, V on the back is a 0.1mg tablet Round, green, S over 265 is a 0.3mg tablet What are the markings on the tablet in question?

The pill is orange in colour and is the size of a panamax paracetamole tablet aprox 6mm round. One side has a large G the other has a split in the middle one side has MR the other 30 what is this pill ## I think I have the same pill it is kind of oval like right? Alright so I've been on clonidine for a while now (it's been 0.3 milligrams from the beginning) as well as 600 mg of seroquel. Both were used for mood stabilization as well as (mainly) for sleep. The other night I was travelling out of town and forgot my clonidine, so I just took my two seroquel. I felt just as drowsy as normal, still got about 8 hours of sleep, but didn't wake up feeling groggy or tired (whereas I normally do). I can't get an appt. in with my psychiatrist for another 4 months, and they don't do over-the-phone appointments. I'm seriously considering dropping the clonidine completely, but I need to know if there are any serious side effects. I am young, I've had no history of heart problems or high blood pressure, nothing out of the ordinary; ...

I have an oval shaped pill that has the number 169 on it but it was not in its original bottle what is it for ## I wasn't able to locate an exact match to your description, as you didn't mention what color the pill is that you are referring to. I did however find a pill marked "961" as opposed to "196" that is white and oval shaped. Is there any chance that you may have misread the marking? If so, I would've located the pill in description to be Clonidine HCL (0.1 mg).
