Has anyone had light sensitivity and blurred vision while taking lipitor? I have been on it for three months. ## Yes, visual disturbances and blurred vision can be side effects of this medication, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches. Are you on any other medications? ## Yes, I'm also taking Plavix...But I'm afraid not to take it in fear of another stroke. I stopped the lipitor for three days and my vision is slightly better.

I take Lortab for chronic pain, Gemfibrozil for high cholesterol, and Bupropion for anxiety. I have gained 40 lbs. Is it safe to take Lipozene (Glucomannan) for weight loss with these? ## Hi Katie, According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are no interactions or contraindications listed between the medications you mentioned, including the addition of Lipozene (Glucomannan). However, this is not to say that no interactions exist at all, so I would still encourage you to double check with your doctor first; but hopefully this will help add some peace of mind. My best wishes to you on reaching your weight loss goals! You can do it! :D

Is this Rosuvastatin 5mg? My pharmacy changed my RX from Crestor to this and I am now having side effects. Any thoughts? ## Hi Minamint, From what I can gather, a pink oval pill marked with "I" on one side and "29" on the other is reportedly identified as Rosuvastatin calcium 5 mg, manufactured by Aurobindo Pharma. If yours has an "H" instead of the "I", then I'd probably be weary of this being something else altogether... Perhaps it would ultimately be best to contact the pharmacy (or manufacturer) directly with the pill description just to see what information they can provide you with... I also found a round peach colored pill imprinted with H | 2 (separated by a score) on one side and blank on the other; containing 25mgs of Hydrochlorothiazide, us...
