The current disposal instructions from the FDA say that you should mix them in with some undesirable substance, such as used kitty litter or used coffee grounds, place it into a sealed container, such as a coffee can with lid and then dispose of it in your normal trash. Alternatively, you can take them to a local pharmacy and they will gladly dispose of them for you. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I brought mine to rite aid and was told thay don't take any medication back
I have been told by CVS that Diltiazem CD 120 mg cap is discontinued ## I haven't been able to find anything on this, but you are not the first person who has been told that by their pharmacy, so I can only assume that it's correct. The best suggestion I can make in this case is to contact your doctor and ask about getting an alternative medication prescribed. Running out and missing doses could be very dangerous, so you definitely need to avoid doing that. Does anyone know more about this? ## If Diltiazem 180 was discontinued, it's interesting that I just picked up my prescription today. Was told by CVS several months ago that Warfarin in 3mg pills was not available, but I found out it was. They apparently just switched suppliers. ## I have taken Diltiazem CD for about 10 y...

I ran out of my Diltiazem, have missed 2 does and will miss 2 more before my medication arrives in the mail. The Dr is closed today Sunday and Monday for ML King day. Is this dangerous to withdraw this med for 4-5 days? ## Unfortunately yes, there can be some risks related to missing doses, according to the FDA, including elevated blood pressure and heart rate, which could put you in danger. If you begin to experience severe dizziness, chest pain, or a pounding headache, please seek medical attention. In the future, it is always best to request your refill a few days, before you will run out, to ensure that you don't miss any doses. How are you doing? Did you experience any problems?
I take a cartizem 180 er in the morning. I had a cardiac ablation just about two months ago and I'm experiencing a more rapid heart rate than normal that goes on for about 3 hrs. I took a 60 mg cartizem at 12:00. When can I take another one? I'm still experiencing rapid on and off heart rate. ## Hello, Julie! How are you? I am sorry about the problem you're experiencing. When is the rapid heart rate occurring? Is it any specific time of day? After eating? After certain activities? You should not adjust your dosage, without your doctor's approval. While I know these experiences are scary, you need to get in and see them, as soon as possible, before making any changes, or adding more doses. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nau...

Thus, if you are concerned, you could always speak to your doctor about trying a medication that is in a different class, such as a beta blocker. Is this the only medication you are taking?

The severe headaches began immediately - they are so debilitating I can not function. These headaches, which I read are supposed to lessen after a few days, have not. The headaches today are just as severe as they were a month ago. I'm trying to see if my prescription has been filled correctly. This pill is white, round, the number 30 and N E on one side, the letter M on the other. This was refilled for a prescription I've been taking for years called NIFEdipine (also known as Adalat) only I have never had this pill, it's normally a round pinkish pill. ## Ashlyee, it is normal for your pharmacy to switch the tablets they provide you with, depending on what manufacturer was offering the cheapest prices at the time they had to restock their supply. This is how they keep the generic prices as low as possible for customers without insurance. That said, yes, the tablet you received does contain 30mgs of Nifedipine, so you have received the correct medication. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## I...
