How can I dispose of expired nitroglycerin pills? ## Hello, Mary! How are you? The current disposal instructions from the FDA say that you should mix them in with some undesirable substance, such as used kitty litter or used coffee grounds, place it into a sealed container, such as a coffee can with lid and then dispose of it in your normal trash. Alternatively, you can take them to a local pharmacy and they will gladly dispose of them for you. I have been told by CVS that Diltiazem CD 120 mg cap is discontinued ## I haven't been able to find anything on this, but you are not the first person who has been told that by their pharmacy, so I can only assume that it's correct. The best suggestion I can make in this case is to contact your doctor and ask about getting an alternative medication prescribed. Running out and missing doses could be very dangerous, so you definitely need to avoid doing that. I am pregnant (33 weeks) and I don't know if it's ok to use both nifelat 20mg and ascard 75mg to control my blood pressure? ## You should take whatever medications your doctor has instructed you to take, it would be far more dangerous for both and your baby, if your blood pressure was out of control. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Congratulations on the baby!!! Are these the only medications you are taking?

TWO TIMES BLEEDING FROM RIGHT NOSE ON 080211 AND 110211.HIPER TENSION AND HIGH BP DIOGNOSED BY DOCTOR AND PRESCRIBED-TAB AMTAS 50 AND HOPACE H-5 ONCE A DAY. ## can Amtas-M-50 be given to a high BP patient suffering from bronchitis ## I am a BP patient with Hyper Tension for 12 years. Taking AMTAS AT50mg in the morning. Past 15 days back, had chest pain with BP 100/150 . Carried out all tests., Including Angiography. Diagnosed as CAD to be treated with proper medication. Prescribed Telma 40 with Amlong 5mg in night. No effect, despite new medication. Only AMTAS 50 giving relief even now. Doctors say no. I continue to suffer despite treatment. Is it okay to continue with AMTAS AT 50mg.?

I ran out of my Diltiazem, have missed 2 does and will miss 2 more before my medication arrives in the mail. The Dr is closed today Sunday and Monday for ML King day. I take a cartizem 180 er in the morning. I had a cardiac ablation just about two months ago and I'm experiencing a more rapid heart rate than normal that goes on for about 3 hrs. I have been on Ranexa for two days. Today while sitting at my computer I had a dizzy spell. I have no angina. My doctor is giving me Ranexa to increase my use of oxygen. I also have an anxious feeling (the only way I can describe it) and what seems to be a flutter of my heart. My father, 59 years of age ..diabetic n has high bp too, recently had a leg fracture n afterwards developed some heaviness in his left hand..All the relevant tests done like eco, ECG, n other blood tests were all normal too. Still the doctor suggested to he take Nikoran 5 twice a day.. Im a 62 yr old south african and have been using adco alzam for a year. I've recently stopped using it . Since then ive beem experiencing lameness in back neck nd head area, no pain though, insomnia is over now but i am very tense. Just had back surgery. My blood pressure has been low so I stopped taking the diltiazem and cut the lasix in half to 40 mg plus the inspra 25 mg. My blood pressure is good during the day and at night is 115/70. Is this the right thing to do? ## Hello, Lou! How are you doing? Has there been any change? Did your doctor approve these dosage adjustments? The biggest concern is that if you drop the dosage of these medications too abruptly, or stop one suddenly, it could result in a rebound effect, according to the NIH, which could cause the exact opposite problem of dangerously elevated blood pressure and heart rate. I have stent promos xience 3.0×24 prox LAD since May of 2012. At that time my Dr prescribed Nikoran 5 mg and nicrocontin 2.6 mg. After 2.5 yrs on both meds they were stopped by the Dr. Now I'm getting betaloc 25, cardece 2.5, espringold 10mg. and I'm feeling a pinching pain in my left arm. I was admitted into a local hospital. I took sos 5 mg & feel better again, but still feel pinching pain. What should I do? Should I continue nitrocontin 2.6 & Nikoran 5 mg.?

That is when the greatest risk was found, though more research is needed to be sure of that and it seemed only relevant to calcium channel blockers, according to JAMA and the studies they have already compiled. Thus, if you are concerned, you could always speak to your doctor about trying a medication that is in a different class, such as a beta blocker. Is this the only medication you are taking?

I began taking Imdur 30mg on December 15, 2015 because I began to have attacks of angina. I did not realize that I was supposed to be taking Imdur all along following 3 Stent insertions in June. The severe headaches began immediately - they are so debilitating I can not function. These headaches, which I read are supposed to lessen after a few days, have not. The headaches today are just as severe as they were a month ago. I'm trying to see if my prescription has been filled correctly. This pill is white, round, the number 30 and N E on one side, the letter M on the other.
