I've been on Gleevec for about 6 years being treated for HES with no side effects once regulated. Just over the past few months I have gotten joint and muscle pain and noticed this is a small side effect using this product. I have been tested for RA, Parvo B19 and countless other items. Just wondering could side effects surface years later? ## Yes, it is possible, our bodies do change with time, so it is always possible to suddenly experience new side effects, as time passes. Other side effects are listed by the FDA as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and hair loss. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?

I am prescribed sm fibro tablet by my dentist for red rashes on my upper and lower jaw gums, which caused a burning sensation while eating. Unfortunately it's not showing any results. Please kindly suggest an alternative to this? ## Which tablet is best for oral fibrosis suffering from OSF ## Can SM fibro be consumed after having surgery for gum squamous carcinoma? Will it help in avoiding the recurrence of cancer? ## Sm fibro does contain lycopene and some antioxidants... So don't take it as an anticancer drug. ## Then try some B-complex capsules. I think it would be better.

Hi, I have severe gastroparesis for 5 years now. I’ve been through tubes, pics, ports, pyloroplasty and Botox. I asked my dr if I could try emend and she gave the okand the script. I have to say, emend plus zofran was the best anti nausea and barfing control that I’ve ever had! I was so happy! But, it’s $20 for 3 pills!! I can’t afford this because of all my other meds as well. Could I get it in IV form and administer it to myself with my drs approval? Also if you get it for Iv, do you get more than 3 days worth at a time? Or more pills for the high copays? My name is James, I have stage IV cancer of unknown origin. Have had radiation treatments and have been on chemotherapy for over a year. I would like to find out if there is any truth relative to H86 and it's ability to stop or cure cancer. My daughter has lupus. How long does she need to take Methotrexate? Her hair has thinned as well. she takes it 1x a week.. ## Hello, Sherna37! How is your daughter? When it comes to a chronic condition, such as Lupus, you really have to weigh the risks to her life and health against the medication side effects. I'm female, so I'd not like my hair thinning, either, but it would be better than the complications that can arise, if her condition were left to rage out of control. That said, she should stay on it, as long as her doctors deems it appropriate and safe for her to take it. Hello, I take .6 ml methotrexate weekly plus plaquenil and sulfasalazine. I've been completely knocked out with a head/chest cold for the past three days. Now my fever is down; can I go back to work tomorrow or will I just did myself in deeper? Any advice would be appreciated. ## FROM PAST EXPERIENCE, IT USUALLY RECOMMENDED NOT TO RESUME NORMAL ACTIVITY UNTIL A FEVER IS GONE FOR 24 HOURS. ## @Bratbaby, I agree with the previous comment, in that you should probably wait it out until you've fully recovered from the fever and/or whatever cold symptoms you might still have. I was diagnosed with Myeloma and AL Amyloidosis in May 2016. After taking a lot of medication for 7 months, fortunately my condition went into remission and I was taken off all drugs which included Revlimid in December 2016. I am now 10 months into remission but I have lost the taste of food. Although it has improved slightly it is still there. When will it come back. Has anyone experienced a similar problem. LH ## Still have the loss of taste. Anyone experienced this and what to do!

My mother (age 69) received a Reclast infusion 36 hours ago. She currently has a fever of 101.8 and has the chills and has felt shaky. She has called her primary care doctor and the doctor who prescribed Reclast but since it's after hours she can only talk to their help lines. They said to head to the ER only if her fever reaches 103 degrees. They said she can take Advil or Tylenol for the fever. I read on the FDA site that Reclast can affect the kidneys so I'm suggesting Tylenol for her (since that's processed in the liver not the kidneys). I also read she should drink a lot of water. The name is quite often misunderstood. It is a potent opiate that is used to treat severe pain, and it can be prescribed for people that are not cancer patients, but most doctors are cautious about doing so. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Hello lovely people! Can Gentilax cause cancer? Ive been taken these lax every night for the past 4 yrs. Never had an issue with them, they work amazing. But am scared that in the future it can hurt me in some way. Like cologne cancer or mess up my intestines. ## No, it cannot cause cancer. My boyfriend was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma in August while in the hospital with pneumonia. Straight out of the hospital into radiation and chemo treatments in which he was unable to finish. No one has mentioned immunotherapy to us as an alternative. His last blood work results said his count was within normal limits so would he have a chance of atezolizumab and immunotherapy helping him? He's 59 yrs old, has good appetite, already had AFib before diagnosed with cancer, has Medicare/Aid. We live in NW Tn. Is there hope for success for him? I had pain in stomach and went for xrays and scan and the results were all negative but when I went for blood check up all other results were negative apart from the doc telling me he found a h pylori bacteria infection though was not told what it had caused in my stomach..so he recommended me to use pylori kit,so far its 4th day when using it but how come haven't seen any change...and can h pylori infection cause pain in back,neck,shoulders and joint?could it cancer?

Are there any small cell lung cancer survivors that have done the immunotherapy? My boyfriend has sclc, tumor in 1 lung and lympnodes making surgery not an option. I'm having to research for options because no Dr has options other than radiation and chemo treatments which almost killed him because his AFib was ignored as was the BP meds he was taking we weren't warned and his BP dropped down to 60?/40?
