The patches of darker coloration are almost triangular and span across my face. I wear sunscreen everyday, and sunlight does make the discoloration worse. Is this skin discoloration or migration of pigment a side effect of the Gleevec? ## From what I have read, yes, it has been known to cause pigmentation changes with long-term use. My wife had methotrexate treatment a week after having to have a tube removed as result of ectopic pregnancy because levels were not going down. The first couple of days were fine, but on the 6th day she started having heavy bleeding and clots. Is this normal? ## It's kind of difficult to say, since there was quite a lot going on. It could be from the tube removal and ectopic pregnancy, or from this later treatment. Both could have an effect on her hormones and cause some irregular bleeding. Learn more Methotrexate details here. I see this was posted a few weeks ago. Have there been any changes? How is she doing?

I had two Reclast intravenous drugs; one in '08 & '09. In 2008 I had sinus lift augmentation with placement of 10 implants. In 2011, I lost one implant on the top & in 2012, I lost another implant on top again. I went to see my oral surgeon in July '12 and he told me that there was nothing he could do to help me as the bone in my upper jaw is severely deteriorated. Then I went to see a Prosthrodontist in Baltimore and he too could not make me a plate due to the severity of the upper bone. I subsequently learned that I cannot sue the drug company because they put on there indications about possible Jaw Bone problems. I do not remember my doctor telling me about the jaw bone problems prior to having the oral surgery. I am 63 years old & now left to flounder because...
Any drs in broome county are I have had multiple surgerys and chronic pain for eight plus years now and all drs here are scared to do anything my old dr went out with cancer nd have had nothing but pain in my butt w drs ## If you're looking for treatment with a general practitioner, then you will likely continue to have problems, because under the new laws they don't have much choice. They are really limited in what they can prescribe to treat patients with chronic pain, because anyone needing long-term pain treatment should be sent to a pain management specialist. where can i purchase his? ## Noscapine is an antitumor alkaloid from the opium poppy. From what I could gather, it hasn't been available here in the U.S. since the 1980's. Source: google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&ved=www.pcref.org2Fpdf2F.doc The FDA probably banned it because it helped kill cancer cells...and who would ever want that to happen!!? The FDA seems to be notorious for taking all the good things off the market and leaving the stuff that gives you the worst side effects. In any case, you may have to import Noscapine from outside the country if this is something you need to obtain sooner than later, as I haven't found anyone in the U.S. who carries it. I would suggest searching for a credible online pharmacy in ...

Where to find out more information about this drug? Can you take coedine cough syrup while taking Methotrexate ## Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between Codeine and Methotrexate. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. With that said, (because I am not a doctor) the most I can tell you is that from what I've read, these two medications are regarded as being safe to take together and shouldn't present any problems outside of the normal side effects associated with each medication. I hope this helps to answer your question!
I am 35 lbs underweight and have been trying everything there is to gain weight, including drinking Boost with extra protein and calories, whey protein with 2x the lean muscle building qualities, eat ice cream by the gallon, whole milk, I exercise - everything but cannot gain in fact I just lost another 2 lbs. Is there a medication that will help me gain weight that is FOR this purpose ? ## Unfortunately no, there isn't a medication just for gaining weight. There are some that doctors will sometimes use when someone is extremely underweight, such as in the case of people undergoing cancer treatment, or for AIDs patients, but they are all medications that are actually intended for other purposes and just can cause weight gain as a side effect. This can happen with most steroid class ...

If we create our own reality, can't we just change our thoughts or beliefs about what pain really is?
