Can I Discontinue Nitrocontin?

I'm taking Thyronorm 25, Gemer 2 Ramister 2.5 & Nitrcontin 2.6 - one each daily for six years. I don't have ischaemic problem now. Can I discontnue nitrocontin now?

Have you discussed this with your doctor?

You may not be currently suffering an ischemic problem, because the medications are doing their job and keeping it under control. It could return, at any time, if this is the case and you suddenly just stop on or more medications.

Nitrocontin contains the active ingredient Glyceryl Trinitrate, it's commonly used to treat angina and heart failure.

The Thyronorm contains Levothyroxine, it is used to treat Thyroid disorders.

Gemer contains Glimepiride and Metformin, these are both oral diabetic medications used to help lower and control blood sugar.
