Camber Pharmaceuticals Generic Percocet (Page 9) (Top voted first)

Just got Camber Pharm generic Percocet at Walgreens instead of the Actavis brand. It's giving me an upset stomach and causing me to feel weird. Has anyone else had a similar reaction?

After i took my complaint re camber up the corporate ladder i got a call from the region mgr and yes got back the actavis. Problem is any pharmacy u call CVS COSTCO PUBLIX wont tell u what they have its top top secret. Still waiting on feedback from FDA.

One more question; when did you start taking it? Maybe they have changed the formula recently. All I know is that Im back on the Actavis and would not want to take a chance again with Camber; unless the inactive ingredients were disclosed to me. Of course these generic drug companys are not required to disclose these ingredients and you have to work to find the info. It should be illegal.

Lil, I just have to ask this. I asked elsewhere, but know you did not see it. First I think it is so sad that a med that you use is not only up to standard but actually makes you sick, like Camber T-194 did to you and many others!

My question is: why did you take it for the month. Was it fear of withdrawl? That would be most logical, but it seems you, poor girl, went backwards. Not only did you spend a month without your accustomed pain relief, but you endured such foul effects from it. Your suffering was very evident in each of your posts. Yet you still managed a slight humor and cutesy to others. Good woman. Still, I wondered why you took it for the month. Again, I suspect it was to stave off withdrawl. With every post I wanted to yell....throw those suckerso out, LIL!!!!! LOL. No reason for you to respond, other than to satisfy my curiosity. Not sure what I would have done in your predicament. I may have just dealt with the withdrawl. But you know your body, would withdrawl have been WORSE than the suffering you endured? Looking back, do you wish you had done things differently?

I will certainly stay on my toes. No one is going to feed me those nasty Camber T 194's. No how, no way. But I know how my withdrawl feels. I know how I would feel. Not as bad, surely, not as bad as you suffered. God bless you and I enjoyed your periodic updates, Lil. JMJ

I'm sorry,.. I don't quite understand your question?? I've read the words but one thing I want to say is thank u for correcting the cutsy... because there is nothing cute or humorous about the kind of pain I have and will have in 24 hours a day the rest of my life. Camber threw me into withdrawals. Never had them before because I've always followed my directions exactly as prescribed. Then Camber came along and harmed me in too many ways.

Dear Lil, please excuse me if there is a sense of possible offense in my question. I was merely asking why you felt compelled to continue taking this most horrible med. A med I will be very wary of, thanks to your posts. I was wondering if going into withdrawal was what would keep someone on a med that was so awful. That would make sense to me. And what is my best option faced with such a situation? I have wondered if my own generic ( rhodes, walmart) is as strong as it ought to be, but have never been through the trauma you went through. I worry as to how I should handle such a stuation.

If you go to Walgreens again go in a few days before ask for the pharmacy manager show her this thread they know damn well the cambers are crap and ask her to order something else if not go up the chain and find the regional manager

As time goes by; Im beginning to get very concerned too. The only time I get relief is when ive taken the immediate release Actavis and the pain/burning in the tummy (upper abdomen) goes away. However when I eat, my stomach hurts and I get really bad gas. More fatigue too and anxiety. I have agonized trying to deterrmine if the Actavis is different (maybe not as strong) or if the Camber has given mean ulcers. I know one thing; I never had this problem until the first of the year when I got the Camber for the first time.

Out of date, expired can give off the strong smell as well, and or counterfeit. There is a specific site that explains this.
Someone here on the board posted back a while theirs gave off that bad chemical smell. Yes at first it was a strong chemical smell. Now that my leftover 20 something pills are locked up no telling what's growing in there there way the extreme odor of hard apple cider came pouring out 2 weeks ago. Also it can be made with very cheap binders and the pain relief is very little. Sorry for so many post but I was not sick before and I just had horrible pain. This sickness makes me angry. I'm not an angry person but that stuff has taken a lot of my life away in bed. I'm tired of it!!:( I feel like crying because I'm in so much pain and now I can't eat normal food because of the camber 10 Percocet. I missed my grandsons 6th birthday because of my stomach:( ::(

Actually the National Institute of Health is feverishly working on medications that treat pain without the use of opiates... So says my doctor who's definitely in the know... He also said for the last 5+ years or so they've been creating opiate medications that have a huge reduction in oxytocin levels so they're less abusable because there's almost no euphoria which is where the major amount of your being able to tolerate pain comes from=high oxytocin levels=tolerating higher levels of pain. I'm on 4 times the amount of pain medication that I was on 5 years ago because of this. It has nothing to do with tolerance and everything to do with extremely low oxytocin levels. My own blood work is proof of this happening and how my doctor has documented this happening with his patients. The government and big pharma are both playing stupid as to the reformulated version of ALL narcotics causing very low levels of oxytocin. From amphetamines to opiates this has been done! Ask any ADHD or ADD patients how their stimulant medications are working... Most all will say it's not anywhere near as effective! Same with benzos and other sedatives... We're all being sold inferior quality narcotics because of drug abusers! You'd think some law firm would jump on this, but no one will! It's not because it's big pharma, but because the government is protecting them using their fake opiate crisis as the poster child of protection! This is definitely one of the biggest government scams of all time and it started just over 5 years ago.

My solution at Walgreens was to get oxycodone by itself and also buy tylenol and create my own blend. They still sell oxycodone without tylenol not made by camber.

Accent pharmaceuticals makes the pills for Camber. All out if India. I want American made when it comes to putting medication in my body. Those 10 mg. Camber just about killed me. Never again.

Im so sorry :( U too have a bottle that smells like hard cider " vinegar " and we even have different strengths. No one in the world can convince me this is normal for taking a medication. Never on my life have I smelled any type of medicine that came close to vinegar.. My bottle locked up is extremely strong. It hasn't been opened in 3 weeks. I'm scard to smell it now but I may have to use it one day to show why my stomach may be do bad. I'm so hope u don't get long term stomach problems. This is a crying shame for us already suffering 24 hours a day

I have called Walgreens for the past 2months before filling each script and they are STILL only carrying Camber. They say can not order anything else. Also, Rite Aid is now a Walgreens pharmacy and they are only carrying Camber, as well. Walgreens has been my pharmacy for years. They know about the severe reaction I had to the Camber. I felt dizzy and weak, like I could barely stand. Flu-like symptoms (withdrawals?) Severe nausea and vomiting that did not respond to Zofran. No pain relief whatsoever. I was stuck with a 30 day script, but, had to stop taking it after 1 week. That entire month was unbearable. The next time I asked my Dr. for a 7 day script. Good thing because I got Rhodes and I hated the way it made me feel. Spaced out and out of it. Very drowsy. CVS is only carrying Rhodes at the moment. I live in Rhode Island. I am using Walmart now. They carry Mallinkrodt. I have learned the lesson of calling first before I go in to find out what brand they have at the moment.

My packet I received from ACCENT looks as if they are ready for litigation??? They sent too much information about my Percocet and symptoms in complaint letter they typed out. All letters and medication lot numbers are all signed and dated. Yes I'm very sick and it looks like this is ready for court. So are we!! Phone #s addresses in the US. They make the poison for camber both should be shut down because camber should test it. They are one of the same I truly believe.
