Will Clopilet cause GI tract bleeding with long term use? ## Clopilet contains the active ingredient Clopidogrel, it is used to help inhibit blood clotting. It can increase the risk of bleeding, but there is no way to say that it will or will not cause any particular type of bleeding in any particular person. Medications can affect everyone differently. Have you spoken to your doctor about your concerns? ## How long can clopilet 75mg be used? Are there any side effects from it if used for a long time? ## I've been taking clopilet for six months for heart blockage. Now I am suffering from a burning sensation near my rectum. Could this be a side effect of clopilet?

Doctor wants me to start this twice a day(15mg= 30) due to clots in my leg and after reading all this blogging I am terrified to take it. I cant imagine gaining all my weight back and then some. I just got off Victoza cause I brought my sugar down from losing 20 lbs. That would really be a bummer, Then all these side effects and all the swelling and bloating too man oh man. On Eliquis for 2 months Woke up w/black ,Right eye from the bridge of nose across the lid and below eye ,not eye ball .2ed time was this week , ele.for 3.5 months I had not been asleep .Started to bed and notices the left eye was getting black and the next morning was black ,but not as bas .If this is happening around the eye ,what about in the brain.I am on 2 thinners Eleq. and Plavax and asprin ,for arterial occlusion .4 stents and angios to remove clots and finally arterial by-pass ,Can-not determine the reason for clots

Hello there. In Feb this year I developed shortness of breath and chest pains for 2 days, before I could travel to the city for medical help (I was on a project in a remote part of Kenya) The doctors said I had what was then diagnosed as Pulmonary Embolism, though no clots were seen after all scans. I was also diagnosed with Acute Pneumonia as well. I was admitted for 8 days and then put on 20mg Xarelto for 6 months. I am due to come off the medication in August. I was back running (5 km every morning) and to the gym from May, and apart from acne on my face I really have had no side effects. My Cardiologist says it is likely bacterial infection from Pneumonia is what triggered my condition, and we will really never know if there were clots in the first place, or if they got dissolved by...

I am going oversesa tomorrow and my doctor changed me from Cartia to start today on Xarelto for the duration of my trip and then return to Cartia after a couple of days when i am home.My question is i took the 1st tablet this morning around 8am wIth my breakfast by 10 am i had pain in my left leg at the back probably say calf area. I take 4mg of warfrin daily and have recently had to take 5mg alternate days..am now experiencing bleed from my haemoraid..very watery red blood...I have also recently experienced a fungal type itch rash on my hands and arms been taking warfrin for 5 years

I am a heart patient and was prescribed clopilet a 150mg..after using it for 6months i was given clavix as150mg due to unavailability of the former.is there any difference b/w the two?will it have any effect? ## They are different, but can both serve the same purpose. My husband took his Saturday and Sunday evening meds during dinner; pradaxa, metopropal tartrate, and flomax. Is this a huge problem? I'm more worried about the pradaxa. I have been on Eliquis for DVT for 6 mo and still need to be on it. Recently I have had a cold and coughed so hard it hurt my abdomen. Noticed kind of a hard bulge on Thursday. This morning I woke up and my abdomen is bruised and my side (Which I sleep on) Also is bruised. It's painful to touch but has been for a week or two, but bruising is new. I see the doc on Monday (today is Saturday) is this an urgent care or emergency room type of symptom or can I wait til Monday? ## I would suggest seeing a doctor in urgent care, if you can. While easy bruising can be a typical side effects of this medication, as reported by the FDA, the hard bulge is not normal and you should have that checked out to be sure. Has there been any change? Are you on any other medications?

Can I take Plavix Generic "Clopivas" 75mg Blister tablets when they expired Oct. 2014? ## This medication does not become dangerous, once it has expired, but it does start to lose effectiveness, so it would be best to dispose of it and see your doctor about obtaining a new supply. How much melatonin can you safely take while on 5mg of Eliquis twice a day? ## is there a reaction if you are taking 5mg of eliquise and 10mg on melatonin ## According to The University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool), there are no drug interactions listed between Eliquis and Melatonin. That said, it would probably be best to inform your prescribing doctor about anything/everything you intend to take alongside what they prescribe you; at least to be on the safe side. One thing is certain though and that is our bodies naturally produce Melatonin, so I don't see how a pharmaceutical would interact with something already naturally occurring within us... unless of course the drug itself is flawed, which many man made substances are... My husband is starting sintrom as he has had a very small stroke. We did not know, only noticed by numb lips. What can we expect as far as side effects are concerned and how often are blood tests done? He also has quite a slow pulse and arrhythmia. Is there a specific diet...can you eat foods with vitamin k in them? ## My Husband has just started Sintrom. Does anyone have advise. Anyone suffer adverse effects. You should check with your doctor, before taking anything, but you should be okay to take Tylenol. Just not any of the NSAIDs, such as Advil or Aleve, since they can increase the risk of bleeding. I was on warfarin for 16yrs but after such a long time taking between 15-20mg a day my doctors took my off warfarin. I started Xeralto 2 weeks ago, a week ago i had a lumbar and cervical pain block. I now have extremely low blood pressure, when i get up or move around i black out, i have no balance and i experience ringing noise in my ears, disorientation, blurred vision and I feel horrible. I am at the point to stop the drug as i am in bed all the time, i cant do simple things like showering or washing hair on my own. The risk of falling and bumping my head could be fatal. I have been taking xarelto 20mg now for 2 weeks after being on 15mg twice a day for 30 days. I had a dvt blood clot that ended up with two pulmonary embolisms. Just in the past three days I have developed heart palpitations which I have never had. My heart skips a beat about every 3 beats. Not so much in the morning as in the evening. Does this have anything to due with the meds ## It is possible, according to NIH reports. Are you on any other medications, or just this one? My plavix expired in jan 2017. It's never been opened. Pharmacist says drugs slowly use their effectiveness after expiration... And I know my plavix did not go bad at 12:00 am feb 1, 2017. How's about a real answer for using the plavix 2 or 3 months after expiration? Could it be dangerous? If it is 60% of its normal strength that would be fine with me... but I don't want to take a poison pill either. ## No, they do not become toxic once expired, they just start to slowly lose efficacy, thus it would be best to dispose of them and obtain a new supply. whot is the use of ECOSPRIN 75MG TAB and abuot its doses ## This medication, in this dosage, is most commonly used to blood thinning and heart health. i had a 1 blood clot on each lung. Will I be on sintrom for the rest of my life ? ## Some people do need to take it for life, but not all, it depends on the severity of your condition, and whether or not you develop anymore clots.
