I got heart problems and take all of this each day: lisinopril, corlanor, furosemide, carvedilol, alprazolam, nyquil, alkaseltzer plus, Bayer low dose aspirin, and I am on house arrest. I tested positive for methamphetamine on a swab saliva test and I have not had methamphetamine in 6 months now! Will any of the drugs make me fail?

I've been using the lisinopril 10 mg by Sandoz for quite some time now and in February 2016, I refilled my prescription and surprise to see a round sd hoped pill instead of the Oval that I used to get so I took it back to the pharmacy and the assured me that the pill was by Sandoz and that they changed the shape from oval to round. ## Hi Dio, Thanks for the heads up on the pill change. I am using Asomex 5mg since last two months for blood pressure. Ever since i started using it i am experiencing severe itching on whole body. I have been on Bystolic since this11-1-15 it's now 4-22-16 I have begged my doctor from day two on this medication to take me off. my heart rate is low but b/p runs very high then drops very low. on my last medication I had a very bad reaction after being on it for 3 years. I have received an e-mail from Teva UK, who produce verapamil capsules under the Univer name, that production has been interupted. They hope to resume in the fourth quarter of 2016. As I need two 180mg slow release tablets per day I queried my GP for a replacement. I have started on Vera-Til SR 120mg tablets from Tillomed. As I need 180mg I take one and a half tabs. Not so convenient but so far no side effects. ## It is risky to be cutting those tablets, since they are time released, it could cause you to get too much of the medication, at once, which may result in overdose. When will Benicar be offered in a generic/less expensive form? ## Hello, Laurie! How are you? It will most likely be several years, yet. However, there are other medications in this same drug class that are available as generics, such as Losartan and Candesartan, which you could ask your doctor about switching to, if Benicar is too expensive. Most blood pressure and cardiac medications can cause loss of libido, as reported by the FDA, so it's really just a matter of trial an error to find one that works for you, without causing unwanted side effects. They may also cause nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. Your age may also be having an effect on your libido. Are you post menopausal?
