Can I drink grapefruit juice while taking perindopril tablets for high blood pressure? ## From what I can find, there is no issue, but is is always best to double check. I should be taking one bisoprolol fumarate 2.5mgm tablet daily and like Teva brand but pharmacist could not get that particular strength so has given me 1.25mgm to take two daily.I suffer bad side effects from most medication and have been very uncomfortable since taking lower strength tablets with full feeling in stomach followed by uncomfortable feeling in intestines.Is this because I am taking twice the am mound of " carrier"ingredients which cause most of my adverse side effects. ## @Beany You are not taking 2x the carrier ingredients. I noticed my husband cant have sex because he can't have an erection because he is taking Losartan 100mg and Amolodipine bysilate 10mg and he is also taking another one but I am not sure of the name. Have been using gabapintin 1200mg-2000mg aday for oxcycodone withdrawals its helping but im afraid of becoming addicted to it, want to start weaning off and try clonidine... Im 46 years old. My blood pressure was 150/120. Prescibed amtas5.Since the first day taking it developed vaginal rashes. I hv 10 days but still der same. I use dilocort to treat those rashes. I too just received the refill for my Mom's 10 mg Lisinopril tabs from Lupin Pharmacy,and have discovered they are half the size of the ones she has been taking for years. She is 93 years old, is very feeble, and uses a walker to get around. I am extremely concerned about whether or not to give her these new pills as I have read all the side effects people are experiencing. I have taken lisinolpril for over a year and my BP just keeps going up and down. I have learned there are many items we drink and eat that interact with lisinolpril. Like vitamins, sleeping aides like melatonin, potassium (potassium is in a lot of vitamins and other drinks and foods) apple cider vinegar, the list is long, read your labels. I was put on lisinopril 6 months ago by my pcp. I have had different side effects that come and go during the entire time (dizziness, lightheaded, nausea, flushing, hot hands and feet, then tingling). About two weeks ago I had a lot of flushing, but my blood pressure was fine. In fact twice it dropped down too low, 80/53 then went right back up. One day my heart starts racing and fluttering. I think it's a panic attack, ignoring it, and long story short was admitted to the hospital with a new diagnosis of Afib with RVR. They finally helped convert me back to a sinus rhythm overnight. I was on bisoprolol + hydrochlorothiazide and my dr just switched me to lisinopril + hydrochlorothiazide. I do believe I may have taken 2 of all my medications tonight by accident: Atenolol 50mg, Losartan 25 mg, Eszopiclone 3mg, Esomeprazole 40mg. I am 74, in good shape, and recently received a pacemaker to compensate for a left bundle branch block and leaky mitral valve. I monitor my BP daily. My 6 yr average is 128/68; consistent. I am on 12.5 mg Losartan (3 months) which has lowered my systolic to ~120 but raised my diastolic to ~76. I now have minor dizzyness (after getting up) but no other significant side effects. Why is the diastolic higher?
