I am taking 20mg of Lisinopril per day. However, I am on a diet and with the reduced amount of food I eat the Lisinopril upsets my stomach. Is there a time-release form of the 20 mg Lisinopril pill? ## Hello, Tom! How are you? Have you tried making sure to take it with a meal and not on an empty stomach? Can Prazosin make someone feel high, and what kind of high would it be? Because I am feeling something after every time I take it. ## Hi Kayluh - Well, this is a blood pressure drug, so what you are feeling sounds more like a side effect of the medication. No, please don't just stop it, without your doctor's approval. Doing so creates the risk of rebound high blood pressure and elevated heart rate. You should only stop such a medication, if your doctor approves and in many cases, with a slow taper. Hi . I went to the GP..regarding my high blood pressure. And i suffer from insomnia. He suggested i take trepiline. 10mg. Just to manage my sleep it did nothing for me being taking it for 5 days. I have been taking Metoprolol 50 mg twice daily for about two years and my pulse was usually around 67 or 68 . The last few days my pulse has been 51 to 56 , I have been very dizzy . Today I went out and had bad pressure in my head and was very dizzy , I thought I was going to pass out . My hubby had to help me get to the car . What is stronger: Propranolol 20mg or Oxycontin? ## Hi rose, I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but Propranolol and Oxycontin are two completely different medications. One is for high blood pressure and one is for pain relief, so there's really no logical way to compare their efficacy. You also can't compare two medications without knowing the dosage of both of them. What is this pill, people keep telling me it's catapres,I don't believe it is. ## There is a generic Catapres tablet that matches this description, with the marking LI65. I took Metoprolol Tart for 2 months, June - July 09 and my heart rate dropped drastically, admitted to hospital with chest pains, breathing difficulty, dizziness, disoriented, head ache, suicidal/homicidal thoughts, heart rate was 32 bpm. Doctor said it was metoprolol and took me off it (was told later should never go off cold turkey) and my heart rate got up above 50. I started taking 10 mg of Norvasc 4 days ago and my feet & ankles were swollen to capacity. They almost hurt and they felt very hot. It was given to me for high blood pressure. ## This is one of the bad side effects of the drug. I've been taking Norvasc for almost 6 years now. It had the same effect on me and I can only take 5 mg. a day without the swelling. I have also developed a rash on my lower legs as well and was told by a dermatologist that it could be from the medicine. I take 3 drugs to try and control my BP but I have yet to find anything that controls things. I took 1 .25mg of metoprolol succinate 48 hours ago and have not taken another one since. how long does it stay in your system before it's totally gone? thanks! ## It ought to be gone now. These are 24 hour time released pills ( capsules ). ## My heart rate is about 25-30 bpm lower because of this drug during a ct scan. I was given 200 mg for a ct scan of the heart. It's now been 36 hours. Should I be concerned?

open H surgery on Apl. 2017 . Repairs T and M valves anuloplasty,pul.vein ablation,triple bypass . Meds.prescribed , Metoprolol 25Mg. twice a day,ASA 81Mg ,,Atorvastatin 80Mg.
