How reliable is the Indian Manufacturer Aurobindo of Metoprolol Tart 50mg any complaints? . I have been taking this medicine made by Teva for a few years . My Pharmacy changed to Aurobindo. My BP is stable and I don't want this to change in any way by taking a different generic. ## Hello, Redd! How are you? You should be fine, even though it is made by a different manufacturer, it does have to meet the same rigid quality control and efficacy guidelines as all the others. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. Is there anything else I can help with? ## who is the manufacturer for Metoprolol Tartrate and how can I get a M F discount card?

I have been prescribed for High BP (persistent at 150/100 for last six months), Amlopres-AT, which I am now taking for the last two months. The BP is steady at 130/80. However, lately, I am having marginal swelling in the foot/ankle which develops during the day, but disappears in the early morning. I am taking Amlopres-AT after breakfast. I want an opinion on the following: 1. Is the swelling likely to develop and be a permanent side effect if I continue with Amlopres-AT? Is there an alternate medicine w/o side effect? 2. Will taking tablet for hypertension lead to Diabetics? My weight is 72Kg(Ht -5 ft 3") - I am walking for one hour daily and also changed diet as per nutritionist recommendation to reduce calorie intake. I do not have any diabetic problem now. However I am taking a...

I would like to know can Pearinda & Ciplavasc 5mg cause any coughing, insomnia ! ## Hello, Bev! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems that you're having. The cough is most likely caused by the Perindopril in the Pearinda, it is very well known to cause that type of problem. However, it's hard to say which might be causing the insomnia. Have you consulted your doctor? The cough usually doesn't go away, so you'll need to be switched to a different medication. ## Can I take Pearinda 8 mg in the evening? I have no energy during the day and wonder if it could be a side effect. I also have a bad skin rash on my chin. Never had a problem with my skin. So tired of going to drs and just getting more pills.

i found a tiny round white pill with the number 57 on one side and a half moon with a number 1 on it just need to know what it is. ## Hi Tammy, Based on my research, the pill in question could possibly be Losartan Potassium 25mg or 50mg; which is used to help treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditions. Losartan Potassium (25mg) is a small white round pill with the markings 572 on one side and what appears to be a half moon with the number 1 on the other side. The imprint on Losartan Potassium (50mg) is the same as the 25 mg variety except its marked with the numbers 573. Is it possible that part of the imprint could've been smudged off at some point? As far as I was told its used in some cases as a treatment for high blood pressure due to portal hypertension. I'm not 100% positive but I think if the person is not able to take other blood pressure meds that would result in extremely low and dangerous side effects and not help the actual issue. I'm no doctor but pretty well informed on this med. ## From what I could gather, a round yellow pill imprinted with m171 is reportedly identified as Nadolol (40 mg). This medication is indicated to treat high blood pressure among other conditions not limited to anxiety, migraine prevention and chest pain. I realize that everyone is going to have a different experience taking beta blockers like Nadolol for managing hypertension/etc., but taking time as a patient to inform yourself on how...

I am currently taking IC Lisinopril-HCTZ 25MG. and i have erectile disfunctions. I found a male enhancement called Vim-25 and it works for me but, i actually took it before reading the package. It mentions that people with high blood pressure shouldn't take the drug or contact a doctor to see if it's safe. I cant ever get a response from doctor about the situation when i call because he is constantly busy. So can you please give me some enlightment on this situation. ## Vim-25 is a natural supplement that is claimed to help with erectile dysfunction. Being a natural product, that is not actually proven to do anything, the side effect or interaction profiles have not been studied and they have to put that warning on the label for people suffering from health problems. Because the...

I as put on Co Diovan BP medication 15 months ago after being admitted to ICU with what the cardiologist seemed to think was arterial fibrillation. He said it was exactly the right medicine for my problem. I have just come out of ICU again now after having a transient ischemic attack. I am now on 5 different medications. My question is could the Co Diovan which I was taking before, have had anything to do with the second problem. The specialist I saw now said no. My second question is what will the other medication I am on now do to me. I am onCarloc 12.5mg, Exforge 10 ml, Adco Simvastatin and aspirin. The cardiologist said I did not need aspirin, now I do. I also have to be very careful of any medication with sulphur in it as 10 years ago I got Stephen-Johnson Syndrome from a sulphur d...

Statins are known to cause memory loss. I've read that losartan can cause the same side effects as statin drugs. Is memory loss one of the side effects losartan can cause? ## No, it is not a statin, it is actually classified as an angiotensin 2 receptor antagonist, but yes it can cause memory impairment as a side effect, though it is very rare for it to do so. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. Is the patient on any other medications? ## yes, patient is on amlodipine. He has none of the 'normal' side effects you mentioned. He is always tired. When I looked up side effects for his meds, both said extreme fatigue was a possible side effect. He is cold frequently when no one else is. Is...

I accidentally took my blood pressure medication (Atenolol 100mg / Chlorthal 25mg) twice within 1 hour. What should I do? ## While it is always best to check with your prescriber, or pharmacist, in most cases there won't be any severe issues from accidentally doubling up just once. According to NIH reports, it usually just causes the side effects to be a little more severe, so you may experience more nausea, dizziness, headache and urination than usual. How are you doing, now? Did you experience any adverse issues? ## I jst took my meds htz 100 and carbedidol 50 twice in One day 8 hrs apart.

I have started coveram which contains the active ingredient perindopril, but I am scared to take it because of all the bad side effects. ## Coveram contains Perindopril and Amlodipine. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. However, if you are taking it to treat high blood pressure, it is far more dangerous to let that continue out of control, than to take the medication. What side effects are you concerned about? ## I had a stroke 3 months ago and my Doctor prescribed Perindopril. Now I'm having bad reflux and burning sensations during the night. Can this be the side effects of Perindopril?

White round pill with a capital M on one side and on the other side 736. Someone said it was for blood pressure. ## The closest match I could find is a white round pill with W over 736 on one side and scored on the back, that is reportedly identified as Metoprolol succinate ER (100 mg) - A medication used for treating high blood pressure. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Wockhardt USA. I've yet to come across anything with the exact description you supplied, but will be sure to post back if I do. I'm taking methadone, seroquel and clonidine. Will my urine show up as benzo? ## Clonidine showed up as a false positive under the metabolite of oxazepam, a benzodiazepine, which are quite often checked in urine tests because of their dependency. I just had a drug test because I'm on opioids and clonidine showed up as a false positive for oxazepam. I'm also on temazepam, oxycodone, OxyNeo, Cymbalta and Wellbutrin.

what color is clonidine 0.2mg ## what color is generic clonidine 0.2mg ## That is impossible to say. Once a pill is available for generic manufacturer, it is made by many different companies and each pill will look different. The color is entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. There is no law that says all 0.2mgs have to be the same color from one company to the next, so some may be white, some pink, some blue. ## Is .02mg 3 times a day alot. I just wanted to know if there are any foods that are dangerous to eat while taking this medication? ## I didn't find anything listed, nor have I heard of any warnings between foods and this class of medications, Propranolol is a beta blocker.
