Does anyone know if these two products are safe to take together? I asked this question before I ordered it and was assured it was ok. However, I just took my first dose and read the back label (I know....I should have doubled checked first). It states it's 'not intended' for people with high blood pressure! Ugh! Now I'm trying not to stress out so my BP level won't go up. Any information would be helpful! ## I am sorry, I really understand your concern. Being a heart and blood pressure patient myself, I have found myself in that same boat a few times, sometimes it is iffy knowing what we can and can't take. However, from what I can find, the NIH reports TruVision as being a manufacturer, not the name of one specific product. They make several natural supplements...

I wake up during the night needing to urinate and have a very dry mouth. The urination is not new but the dry mouth only seems to have stated since I began taking Zanidip, Is this normal or should I worry about the problem? ## Zanidip contains the active ingredient Lercanidipine, it is a calcium channel blocker, commonly used to treat high blood pressure and other cardiac related issues. And yes, the dry mouth can be a common side effect, along with: headache, dizziness and stomach pain. It should wear off as your body adjusts to the medication. If it doesn't, or becomes severe, please make sure to consult your doctor. Are there any comments or questions? ## I was on ibersartan for years then developed dry mouth which is awful. After weeks of moaning to dri stopped the tablet for 4 ...

Have been taking bilocor for 3/4 years, have developed a scalp condition - pityriasis amantacea which my dermatologist can be a rare side effect of bilocor. Very distressing as it causes scales on the scalp that come away with hair so can cause patches of baldness. Can this be from the bilocor? ## I have a pacemaker and use Bilocor 5 on a regular basis. Unfortunately, the Bilocor has rendered me totally impotent. Are there any alternatives without this side-effect? ## I take bilocor daily, but started having a runny nose and coughing from the approximate time of commencing with bilocor. I also take aspavor and ecotrin daily. I am 74 years of age and in good health. Can bilocor cause coughing? ## Could Bilocor affect one's memory? Since starting Bilocor my memory has suffered. I can’t do any housework or get on with my life as I feel so rigid. Can this happen on Candesartan? ## Hello Louise, Since I don't know the specific brand that you are taking I only researched the side effects associated with Candesartan in general. I've been taking propranolol 80mg once a day for over 2 years for anxiety that caused me to have severe chest pain and to feel dizzy. It definitely made me feel better but the cause of my anxiety was due to where i worked and now I have moved work to somewhere that is a big advocate of helping employers with mental health. This has greatly helped the mental side of my anxiety so now I want to stop taking them before I become too dependent on them. What I want to know is are the side effects you get from it really bad or does it depend on the person. I dont want to stop and all the feelings i used to get come rushing back. Thank you for any advice. ## It can depend on the person, but it is always best to taper such a medication, since the NIH warns that stopping it abruptly could cau...

I want to know if it would be ok to take atenolol in place of the labetalol I've been taking, but ran out of? ## Hi Kerri, Both Atenolol and Labetalol are in the same drug class called Beta-blockers which are marketed for use in treating high blood pressure. According to medlineplus.gov, both medications work by relaxing blood vessels and slowing heart rate to improve blood flow and decrease blood pressure. - Atenolol reportedly has an estimated elimination half-life of 6-7 hours (taken orally in tablet form) - Labetalol reportedly has an estimated elimination half-life of 6-8 hours (taken orally in tablet form) What I don't know is how they compare to one another in terms of potency, efficacy, and dosing. So this particular aspect of things is probably something you'd want ...

I have severe leg/foot weakness and pain. I do not have diabetes but my family Doctor said it is probably neuropathy from unknown cause. This started since the onset of the meds. Just started on Losartan , previously was on lisinopril that didnt do anything to lower BP. After 3 days on Losartan I noticed my resting heart rate in now 100+… previously was 65 to 70 on any given day.. I was told it could take 2 to 3 weeks for Losartan to fully be in my system to see a change. Will my heart rate get lower once the med takes effect or is something wrong? ## Hello, Dom! How are you? The higher heart rate could be due to stopping the Lisinopril, if you stopped abruptly and switched to the Losartan, it may have caused a rebound effect that can include elevated heart rate and elevated blood pressure. However, it is always best to check with your doctor to be sure. If the Losartan works for you, you should eventually see an improvement in your heart rate. My heart ra...

smALL ROUND WHITE PILL SCORED ON ONE SIDE WITH L130 ON THE OTHER SIDE ## I cannot find a listing for a tablet, either under L 139 or L 130. I can only assume that the reason for this is because it is an over the counter item and as such, the imprints are not required to be logged with the FDA, like prescription medications are. My husband takes 50mg Metoprolol succinate 1 x daily at bedtime for V-tach (no heart disease) along with 20mg lisinopril and 1 baby aspirin. He recently got an Apple watch and was alerted that his heart rate while he slept had dropped to 37 and 34. Is the low heart rate at night an urgent concern or is it ok to wait until he can get in with the new doctor. Or should he cut the tablet in half?
