Then doctor change the medicine to Telma 40. Now his BP is 140/90 and doctor prescribed him Telma H 40,which causes dizziness and low BP. What should he do? ## The Telma-H contains Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide, this latter medication is a diuretic that removes excess fluid from the body. It is likely that he is experiencing some dehydration from it and that is what is causing the low blood pressure and dizziness. He may need to slightly increase his fluid intake to compensate for this and keep his blood pressure from dropping too low. Learn more Telmisartan details here. Learn more Hydrochlorothiazide details here. He does need to consult his doctor first though, because there are so...

Tiny white round pill. Numbers 36Z or 38Z. the other side has what looks like face w/ oval eyes and a nose. ## Hi Anthony, The closest match I could locate on a white round pill has the imprint Z 66 as opposed to 36Z or 38Z. I'm wondering if you perhaps misread the marking, unless this is a different pill altogether? The Z sits on top of the number 66 and is separated by a horizontal score line. It is identified as Atenolol 50 mg; which is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure; but has other uses as well. Let me know if this sounds like a probable match. I hope this helps!
HALF OF WHITE OVAL PILL WITH LSN ON IT OTHER CUT OFF BUT DOES HAVE A SCORE ON IT ## The closest possible match I could locate has the imprint LSN 20, as opposed to just LSN; but this pill is also said to be white and oval shaped. Although I can't definitively confirm the identity of this pill, the limited information that I did find says it contains 20mgs of Lisinopril, which is an ACE inhibitor that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure. Has anyone else come across this tablet?
what capsules color and this color related only to propranolol extended reliese? ## Hi inessa, The 80mg Propranolol hydrochloride extended-release capsule (manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc.) is pink in color. One side is dark pink and other is light pink. For verification, the imprint on this capsule is "MYLAN 6180". Based on what I've seen, this color only pertains to this specific dosage and manufacturer; but the color and shape of any given pill is always subject to change at the discretion of the manufacturer. I hope this helps!
I have taken this pill for 3 days (one daily) and now my feet and ankles are swollen. Is this a side effect? Also does this med raise your blood pressure? ## Swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, are all actually signs of an allergic reaction to this medication. The side-effect warning label does advise you get emergency medical help if you have any of those signs; including but not limited to slow or shallow breathing and a slowed heartbeat. In that sense, I do believe this drug effects your blood pressure. Have you expressed these concerns to your doctor yet? I would think that you may have to switch medications since these are potentially life threatening side effects. I hope this info helps!
I need to find out if pharmacy gave me correct strength 300 mg of Ibertasan, pill only marked Teva. Half the weight of original pill of Avapro. ## Hi Helga, Have you already tried calling the pharmacy that filled your prescription? That is probably the quickest way to determine if they messed up on your script. Since the only imprint is "Teva", I can't narrow down my search on this specific pill; being that there are multiple pills that have a Teva marking. I would however suggest contacting the manufacturer directly (via the link below), if you are unable to get a-hold of the pharmacy that filled your prescription: tevausa.com/default.aspx?pageid=3469 I hope this advice helps!
I've been taking Losar-H in the morning and Losar-50 & Attorlib EZ at night for the last 5 years, and my BP has been 120/80 since then. I am 55 year old male. Can theses medications be stopped, as I feel my condition is normal and I could do without them? ## The issue that you may run into is that your blood pressure may only be at a normal level, because you're taking the medications. So, there are two problems that could occur if you stop taking them. The first is a rebound effect, which can cause severely elevated heart rate and blood pressure. Thus, these types of medications usually have to be slowly tapered, to prevent this. And the second is that your blood pressure may steadily start rising again. There is usually no cure for hypertension, it can only be controlled b...

After being hospitalized and receceiving every test possilble the medical team could not find anything medically wrong with me. My husband found this pill in the medicine cabinet but has no idea what it is for. He is a heart patient and takes many different drugs, but this one may be generic. It just doesn't look familiar. It is a pink oval pill that appears to have a fancy "G'' followed by the numbers "101" Thank you! ## Hi Barbara, I believe I may have located a match to your pill; however, the "fancy G" is noted to be a capitol "E" with an italic slant to it; making it come off as possibly being a "G". The marking "E 101" on a pink oval pill is identified as Lisinopril (10 mg); which is used primarily in the treatment of high blood pressure. For your own verification, the National Drug Code (NDC) of this pill is: 00185-0101 Learn More: Lisinopril Details...
I am 60+. I have been prescribed by a Doctor to have half of Aten 25mg after break-fast. I have been on this medication since 7 years. I am keen to know if it has any side effect. I thank if some one can give me the answer. ## Did you mean to ask about long term effects? Because side effects only last for a short while, as your body adjusts to a medication. There is a risk that long-term usage of Atenolol may cause damage to the liver, or kidneys, but not controlling your blood pressure would be far, far more risky. Learn more Atenolol details here.
I currently take metoprolol fir high blood pressure. I want to start using a product called Fertility Blend to help me conceive. Can the two be taken safely together? ## Fertility Blend is a nutritional supplement, which means it actually hasn't been proven to help with fertility, nor has it been tested for possible interactions with prescription medications. Learn more Metoprolol details here. Learn more vitamin details here. Are you also taking any fertility drugs? ## Thanks for your reply :) No, I'm not taking any other fertility drugs. I have used Fertility Blend i...
