Refill is white, Oval, Z16. ??? ## Hi terry, Both of the pills in question are one in the same drug. The only difference I noticed is that they are manufactured by different companies. Because of this, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients; but other than that you can be assured that they are the same drug and same dosage. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may respond favorably with one medication and not the other, due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects present themselves. When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or filler...

Im taking Diovan HCT 160/12.5 for my blood pressure but it is still little high.I have a second medicine I used to take Labetalol HCL 200mg.Is it ok to take them both? ## Okay first, what numbers do you consider a little high? You have to understand what when someone has high blood pressure, the basic goal is usually 135/85 or right around there, because in many cases it isn't practical to try to get them to 120/80 or lower. You also need to be watching what you eat, such as keeping your sodium as low as possible and not overdoing your fluid intake, to help lower it. On top of that you also need to be getting regular exercise. Learn more hypertension details here. I've been taking Toprol XL 50 MG for many years. My recent presciption came with pills that look a little different. My previous pills have always had small A mo lettering , the new ones have same lettering but much larger letters. Any difference between the two? ## Are you sure it's still the A MO marking? Because there is another one made by the same company that uses a marking of A MS and it's larger, because it's a 100mg tablet. If that's the one you received, then they gave you the wrong dosage. Is there any reason why name brand Ziac has been unavailable for the last 8 months? I was on the 10/6.5 dosage and it worked perfectly. The generic does not work as well with negligible results. I contacted Teva and all they say is it's on long term back order. ## I can't find any information on the shortage, they aren't required to report it to the FDA, so there is nothing listed there. Have you tried any alternative medications?
