i,ve being using acti-prex nd a started coughing non stop so is my sister, ## Based on my research, Actiprex is a medication from South Africa, containing the active ingredient Perindopril. This is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure and other heart conditions. I hope you and your sister are feeling better now; but I do have to question why you would even start taking a random medication if you have no idea what it's supposed to be used for? Not only is that irresponsible, but if it were something else, it could also be life-threatening. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Perindopril Details I hope this helps!

I take all these meds for high suger, colesteral ,pain and nerve pain do you see any bad side effects from having to take all these meds> ## Hi Smith, Unfortunately, just about every prescription drug comes with at least a handful of undesirable side effects. However, there's really no telling ahead of time which side effect(s) or symptom(s) one might end up experiencing during the course of treatment, if you even have any symptoms at all. Not everyone who takes these types of drugs experiences side effects. So you could just as well be in the clear as far as I know. If you'd like to learn more about each of those drugs and their potential side effects, you can do so on the pages for: Bystolic Details Metformin Details Pravastatin Details Hydrocodone Details Amitriptyline Det...

peach .oval with a33 over a28 ## Hi Kim, Based on the description provided, the closest match I could find is a pink oval-shaped pill (approx 10.00mm in diameter), marked with 93 over 28 on one side and blank on the other. This particular pill is identified as Enalapril maleate 10 mg; which is used to treat hypertension as well as a number of other heart conditions. It is manufactured by Teva Pharmaceuticals USA and has a National Drug Code of 00093-0028. Would you also be so kind as to verify the imprint on your pill? In your title you mentioned "g 33 28", but in your description you changed it to "a33 over a28"; which made it a little confusing. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Enalapril Details I hope this helps!

is AMLODIPINE mfg Qualitest gluten free? ## Based on my research, each tablet of Amlodipine besylate manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals contains the following inactive ingredients: dibasic calcium phosphate anhydrous, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and sodium starch glycolate. Unfortunately "sodium starch glycolate" is considered to be gluten and toxic to those who have severe cases of Celiac disease. This particular filler is common in many medications. So if you haven't already done so, I would probably make your doctor and pharmacist aware of your intolerance before filling any future prescriptions. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Amlodipine Details I hope this helps!

Recently, I switched from Amalvos-H to Olmax 40mg. Within 10 days of use, I began to experience erectile dysfunction (ED) and muscle pain in my back, specifically in the muscle used for back bending. However, my doctor dismisses my observations and insists that I can continue using this medicine. Are these known side effects of Olmax? ## Hello, Isak! How are you doing? Olmax contains the active ingredient Olmesartan and it can cause those types of symptoms as side effects, but they usually start to taper off, after your body gets used to the medication. That usually takes about 4 to 6 weeks, if they don't start to ease up after that, then you'll need to talk to your doctor about taking a different medication. All medications carry the risk of causing side effects, you just reall...

I have been prescribed ramipril 5, telmisartan 40, losartan sodium 50 at different occasions for blood pressure. I want to know is there any harm in changing the medicines from time to time. Or one should stick to one medicine for BP. Please let me have your suggestion in this regard. Please note that alongwith this BP Medicine I have been taking Glibenclamide5mg+Metformin 500 mg (for diabetic) ## Hello, Kaaliya! How are you? You should take whichever medication your doctor has prescribed, unless they tell you to change it or to stop taking it. These types of medications take awhile to reach their full levels of effectiveness in your body, so switching too frequently wouldn't actually give them a chance to work. Which one are you currently taking?

Started taking Bystolic 5 mg 5 weeks ago, heart date is down to 51 BPM, also put on neurotin for nerve tingling not from diabeties, started at 100mg now at 300 mg. experiencing severe depression and suicidal thoughts. I realize it's the meds. How do I reduce them without causing more serious side effects. The neurotin did not help the tingling pain, but relieved arthritic knee pain, and although my bp is down my heart rate is so low I am unable to walk uphill without shortness of breathe. Is it okay to just reduce the dosage for a few days? ## Wow! Yes, it seems that they are both causing problems. I need to have my rear tooth extracted and I am on metoprolol succinate and Losartan potassium and clopidogrel for cardiac therapy, so should I stop taking for a few days to allow dental extraction ? ## Hello, Husbur! How are you? No, please don't stop any of these medications, unless your doctor says that it's okay for you to do. Doing so could result in dangerous rebound effects that could cause greatly elevated heart rate and blood pressure. And the only one that you may need to stop temporarily would be the Clopidogrel, since it helps prevent clotting. Learn more Clopidogrel details here. Have you discussed it with your doctor, yet?

How long before this drug will be out of my system? ## Hello, Sheila! How are you doing? Has it improved any, yet? How long were you taking it and what was the dosage? The time it takes for such problems to wear off will depend on the answers to those questions. Have you consulted your doctor? What were you taking it to treat? Which is better Ramipril or Amlodipine? Just to mention sometimes I get wheezing due to allergy House dust polen etc. I used to take Amlodipine 5mg I was bit stout. When I reduced weight due to TB my weight reduced so blodd pressure was high not much. So doctor stopped this to study BP. then When I regained weight after TB cured again lower level was bit high. Now a different doctor prescribed with Ramipril 2 capsule of 1.25 mg so it is 2.5mg. I am afraid because different doctors handled me. Any problem I cant say anything about doctor.
