Started taking Verapamil for chronic migraines--started with low dose and gradually increased. As I increased, the joints in both elbows became so painful, hard to put on a jacket or open a jar...muscles in arms are also very sore...both arms are equally sore. I am a strong person, had no trauma to the arms, and problem only started with verapamil use. Doctor does not believe it's the medication, but pharmacy told me joint pain could be a side effect. Hi, I am 53 years old. I had mild heart attack in May. After that I have been using Cardace 2.5mg for 3 months. 2 months back my dr. Increased the does to 5m. I have recently noticed a severe effect on my libido for the last 2 weeks. 2 weeks back My dr. advised me to reduce the dose again to 2.5 mg. No change. Now my dr. advised me to stop cardace and observe for 2 weeks. My questions are does Cardace affect the libido?? Is this effect permanent or will it disappear if cardace is stopped? Hi Everyone! I started taking Metoprolol Er Succinate about a week ago. My heart rate was spiking too high while working out. After a stress test my doctor thinks I have a thyroid problem and but me on the medicine until I get my blood results back. The thing is I am only 22 years old. I would like to go out drinking tomorrow with my friends. I am thinking about not taking my medicine that night ( I usually take it at night) to avoid possible side effects. I have been taking metoprolol tartrate 50 mg cut in half so 25 mg twice a day for 8 years. I been having bad side effects and convinced doctor to take me off Metoprolol. My new High blood pressure med is Atacand 8 mg.. So no wean off just stopped cold turkey and replaced with the Atacand. Today is day one my blood pressure is within the normal but my heartbeats are up about 15 bpm. It's like my adrenals are working again. Feel great already going to meditate daily and try to stay calm to keep the heartbeats down. I have been on perindopril 4mg for a couple of months now and two weeks after starting the medication I started to developed a weird kind of heat rash on my chest, face and back. I was taking Losartan for a few months and my hair started to thin. Found out this is a side effect of Losartan. Asked doctor for different Rx, she prescribed Nisoldipine. I recieved a refill on my metoprolol succ er 25mg, but this time instead of my usual round mylan I recieved the oval par brand. After taking half (12.5 mg) I felt great for the first few hours, but then after eating rapid heart rate, which is a problemI didn't have with the mylan brand. I would like to know the side effects of medicine Pin Ohm -10 taken for blood pressure control ## I daily take one Pin Ohm 10 after breakfast since last about a year. since lat about 15 days I have some problems with my throt. At time there is plum accumulation and by gargling with salt water it is removed Now I feel there is some relief but not fully gone. Is it because of Pin Ohm
