Allergic To Sulfa

I am on Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg. My Doctor says I can double up on this medication, as I have reasonably high blood pressure. I am allergic to Sulfa drug.
Will this be fine?

Yes, it should be if your doctor says so. If you were allergic to it, you'd likely have already discovered that.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. A higher dosage may cause you to experience these more intensely.
