Best Generic Adderall Brands (Page 32) (Top voted first)

Is the round pink 30 mg Adderall generic name Sandoz/Eon with the markings of CDR 136 on one side more or less effective than the oval orange 30 mg Adderall generic name Barr/Teva with the markings of b974 on one side and 30 on the other side? What is the most effective/potent Adderall that is generic and 30 mg?

Everyone, okay so I'm so tired of this bull***"! The only thing that works for me is brand named XR. I don't like the XRs though. I like my instant ones. I tried Vyvanse again and I am for certain I'm switching to that it's the only thing that I get the same effects I got from adderall. Stop is absolutely ridiculously expensive at least until my prior auth goes through. Good luck guys!!

Youre paying how much through kaiser??? Holy crap. Just go to walgreens and tell them you have no insurance. I pay 44.00 for 60 30mg a month. Dude, u getting robbed if your paying 90 with insurance.

Teva might as well be chalk. I had REALLY high hopes about trying it this month, after Sandoz, Mylan and Auro. and it SERIOUSLY might be WORSE than Aurobind. I am SO FREAKING FRUSTRATED with this HELL.

The USAF does not use Desoxyn! Some special ops used to use Dexedrine. Modafinil is the only "go pill" used in the Air Force nowadays. You don't need sleep for Modafinil to work. It's commonly given on long range missions or to the crew/pilots of AWACS. Other branches may use various stims such as Desoxyn but the USAF does not. -Mason, formerly 14WX USAF

If you’re taking adderall for chronic fatigue, that seems counter productive!

I do not know much about CFS. I would first try and rule out depression. Depression can cause fatigue. As can GAD and social anxiety. From wikipedia

"Evidence suggests... a gradual increase in activity suited to individual capacity can be beneficial in some cases."

This is hard to accomplish if you have developed an aversion to socialization (social anxiety). Sometimes medication with CBT can give you the small boost that you need. I am not a therapist or MD, but drugs with therapy usually helps you understand why and/or what you suffer from and how to increase your quality of life.

The use of amphetamines for depression may seem like a blunt hammer, but what works for you and increases your quality of life is a discussion for you and your doctor.

You mention Effexor. I have taken the drug many years ago, the drug was supplied in a pharm-pack (blister pack). I found that withing a week or two I was feeling more apt to going out and trying to socialize. Unfortunately they (who are they?) decided that effoxor was a stimulant and that stimulant medications are bad for men.

The current recommendations of 150 mg seem extraordinarily high! Titration of antidepressants is something that a pharmacist cannot provide. They believe that one bottle is 30 pills. Titration of Effexor should be _very_ strict. It is an SNRI and should be taken with extreme care. Doses above 300mg are hard for me to imagine.

I would surmise that like all drugs they have diluted it to the point where it is safe for an infant. Effexor was once a very strong drug with strict titration and observation requirements. I would not trust taking effexor for longer than a week without consulting with your doctor. The withdrawal can be awful.

I imagine that small does of amphetamine may be safer; not to say more effective. You can try them for a couple of days and stop cold turkey without any serious problems. This is assuming you don't have a drug abuse problem. There are no drugs that I know of that can increase your level of responsibility when taking drugs.

Whoa! I do not know what Effexor IR is but that is a _very_ large titration! Are you feeling ok? I started with 7.5mg for a couple of days then went to 35.7 (something like that). 300mg to 75! Please be cautious! You will most likely feel better soon, but that is enough to make you _very_ uncomfortable. Wow! That is a huge dose! Hang in there, you can make it... Do not feel shy about talking with a health care provider if you are feeling less than ok... Wow!

I have also tried Wellbutrin, it works ok for about a month, then I start to get the shakes. In the past therapy and Wellbutrin has helped me overcome some obstacles. It became a very popular drug, then people starting to eat the desiccant. They had to make a coated pill to deal with the hydroscopy. Some people just do not appreciate the responsibility that drug use requires.

Please tell me how I can get the pink Corepharma version? All the pharmacy tells me is that they get what is being sent to them. I can't put a gun to their head and make them get me the pink ones. I am exhausted and have went out of my way looking for it...{edited for privacy}

I found Sandoz generic 30 mg at CVS that is inside a Target. I was so happy but I was given the XR. I haven't felt much of a difference. I think my doctor gave me the XR so I can have the effect all day and have a higher dose since I take one at mid day. I maybe alert a little more but not like the pink round pill. I seem to need a higher potency and mg. I am thinking I will have to ask for the pink pill. I am pretty good with knowing if something is going to work or not within a few days. I dont need a month for my body to tell me. Oh, well I have lived with not having the right medication and dose all my life, guess I can wait one more month. I don't know about my family. Lol.

I thought Sandoz Adderal IR was pink and round. The Teva brand I had was oval and orange. Did nothing.

The Sandoz 20mg I've always received have always been peach/orange circle, so were the 30mg. I've never had a pink Sandoz pill. I'm in Kentucky if that makes a difference. I believe I read on here that there is a Sandoz manufactured in Canada that is pink but I've never come across any. The only thing pink I had the displeasure of getting in the past was Corepharma.

I absolutely agree..ive been on them for years and got the I took the Sandoz for the first time yesterday. Everyone was saying there was a difference in a bad way. For others they helped way better.

No problem!!! I’ve NEVER had a problem with my doctor... I think there is like 4 lines he has to fill out on the forms! My pharmacist knows me pretty well, LOL, but, same thing... never had a problem using the Assistance Card! I can say that I’ve had the most luck with CVS, as they always seem to have it in stock. But I live in a tiny town, so the other pharmacies are like, “Vy...what?!” LOL, so I just stick with CVS! I used to have amazing insurance and only paid $20 for it (two 70mg capsules per day)! But without insurance.... forget it! It’s about $500 for just a 30 day supply! I was SO happy when I found the ShireCares assistance program!! Now I know that I could have been getting it free even when I did have insurance! But $20 is way better than $500 ?? Now I check all my medications to see if they have assistance programs! Otherwise, I’ve found that Rx coupons give me the best prices for all my meds. If you need any other advice, let me know!!! I’ve had to bargain shop for about 3 years now! {edited for privacy}.

I agree with you. I find that the ones from Costco in San Diego are the next best after the CorePhaarma pink ones. These are white and 5 sided by Mallinck 30mg. Where are you located?

Try if you can get them Costco. They are by Mallinck, white and 5 or 6 sided 30 mg IR. Not quite as good as CorePharma but they do work compared to the orange or peach oval/round ones. I’m in San Diego.

I like EFFEXOR XR® (venlafaxine HCI). it works well for me. I also believe that effexor is not an abusable drug. I believe ampmines are addictive. I know this because I have taken both drugs.

I don't have 40 years of experience but I appreciate your difference of opinion. Thank you.
